I am absolutely in love with Clover bamboo knitting needles. As soon as I tried these out, I threw away my aluminum ones. Just enough grip in the needle so that the yarn stays on, but still slides easily. I'd have easily spent twice as much getting all these sizes seperately, and the carrying case now holds my crochet hooks too. Very good buy!

I'm new to knitting and began learning with aluminum needles. I found the sound of aluminum needles hitting together extremely annoying. My hands also tired of holding the needles for long periods. I decided to try some bamboo needles and chose to buy the set (on sale, elsewhere) because of the needle variety and the carrying case. What a difference the bamboo makes!!!! The needles are quieter and much, much lighter and comfortable to hold. The yarn doesn't bunch up on these needles like it did with the aluminum ones and slides off easier. I like having the variety of needles on hand. Great purchase!

These are very good knitting needles. Very smooth, excellent pointnot too sharp. This is a good way to get the various sizes and a case for them. Much cheaper then getting sets independently.

I got my needles about two weeks ago and they are exactly what I expected!! Just enough friction so the yarn won't move freely everywhere! I totally recommend it!!

I purchased this set for my mother. She loves to knit and was having difficulty with the aluminum needles due to her arthritis. These are easier to use and she loves them. The case is a pretty tapestry.
