The amazon title does not say it, but you can see it in the picture, this is a HAND SEWING KIT. That means these are not normal sized spools. This would be nice for hand sewing odds and ends, but please do not be fooled that you are getting a great deal for a bunch of spools, I have seen this in local stores for much cheaper.

I'll start by saying the kit is exactly as it appears in the photo, although the spools are indeed small as other reviewers have said. It works for its purpose though, which is to quickly mend something by hand. I sewed up a hole in a stuffed animal with one of the tan colors, and I'll use a gray to sew up a tiny hole in a sweater I have. I'm sure it will be fine for that purpose and I definitely like the variety of color options. The needles have super tiny holes so the included threader is a nice (and from my glasses-wearing standpoint, necessary) addition.

With that being said, I did purchase it at a large discount retailer who shall remain nameless just this afternoon for about 1/5th the price that appears here. I usually come to Amazon first for the best price, but in this case, I can say with absolute certainty that you can find this much, much cheaper elsewhere.

Bit of an odd assortment of colors in here, not necessarily reflective of what one would need for clothing repairs...5 ish shades of yellow for one...

The threads are tiny! They are much smaller than you might think looking at the picture. The plus is that it comes with 3 needles, but the spools won't serve for long, so unless you are looking for a short-term solution, you should invest in some other purchase.
