I do a lot of scrapbooking and card making and I use a resist technique, to make a long story short I mostly start with white paper, I stamp an image say a flower in a field. I would color the flower first and then put the white crayon on it...just color right over it. Then I would take my green ink (for grass in the field) and I could roll it out or blot it on not having to worry about the flower. Once done with the background ink I can just wipe off the crayon (since I put the crayon on top of my ink on the flower it doesn't stick so it can be wiped away). If I use watercolors (another resist technique) where ever the crayon is on the paper it will repel the watercolor paint. Any ways, I usually start with white paper so I need white crayons and it would take a whole lot of packs of crayons to keep me supplied in white so this is fantastic to only buy the color I need. BTW....I did try another brand of crayon from the dollar store and they didn't work. I could not color on my flower with it so it has to be Crayola.Best Deals for Crayola Crayons-White 12/Pkg
The product was OK, but found out later I paid twice the price to purchase from Prime. Of course it didn't break the bank, but just reminded me that free shipping isn't always what it is cracked up to be.Honest reviews on Crayola Crayons-White 12/Pkg
We use these as resist on white paper. The students love watching their "magic marks" appear when watercolor paint is painted over the white crayon marks. I use this in my art counseling work on Life Skill-Building classes.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Crayola Crayons-White 12/Pkg
