First, these have many graduating shapes versus Spellbinders where you get far fewer dies for the same price. Second, they're great in tight places for very exact cuts (when saving paper or layouts are close together). Third, the graduating shapes allow easy, precise layering. Fourth, this provides, for my machine (which most people would have) the largest die that will fit.
Thought about giving just four stars just because they are a bit flimsy; although their thinness is what allows them to store compactly? These Lifestyle dies are a good deal! You get a whole bunch of sizes for less than the brand-sake. They are a llittle bit "dainty" feeling but figure that you shouldn't need a chunk of steel to do some crafting if you find a way to store them safely. I have tried the photo album pages with magnet sheets but that is getting to be super heavy and cumbersome. I am going to try cutlery magnet bars, next. This will make them visible at a glance. So they are safe in their plastic packaging.
