I love to watercolor and this set of pencils has wonderful pigment that allows you to do many things, both wet and dry.

Having used various types of watercolor pencils, I find they "play well with others" in mixed media, too.

Highly recommend this set for both casual and more advanced artists. It's a great set and has a great

case to keep you organized. I think these are the best overall value for quality and price.

These are my first set of watercolor pencils and I am really impressed with the smoothness of the lead and the flow of color it produces when it is wet. The case is really awesome because it becomes a stand to access all the colors while you are working. The case is also very durable, I was afraid that the leads of watercolor pencils would break easily and that isn't the case.

I love Staedtler products. These have rich pigment and blend well with a wet brush. I love the case with the easel stand that keeps the pencils under control (not on the floor), and helps keep the work area less chaotic.
