I've been wanting a doming set for quite a long time, but couldn't find one that I thought would be of a good quality and still be in my price range. There were other companies selling similar sets at the same price but with only 9 pieces, and this kit has nearly 3 times that many! Hey, I need a selection when I'm creating...

I'm pretty picky about my tools and I was very happy when I got this little kit. The price was great -less than 1/2 of some other places. The punches are very heavy and well made, as is the doming block. The nice little wooden stand is a great bonus, and keeps my working area organized.

I'm somewhat new to forging metal (a couple 3 years)so I'm not an expert on doming tools. I'm sure there are higher quality kits out there for professionals, but this is perfect for my little home based jewelry business.

I will definitely order from this company again. FYI, I have looked at EVERY website known to Google for these tools, and this has been the biggest bang for your buck.

Note: The punches are packaged in oil, so you're going to have to wipe them down with a soft cloth before you put them in the stand -I wouldn't be wearing any good white clothes when unpacking it!

This is really a high quality set. Very well made and the sizing is dead on. Only thing is I bought this EXACT set at Harbor Freight on sale for only $30! Shop around!!! :)

It was exactly as posted. Came much earlier than expected. Good purchase for the money. Not: the tools come soaked in oil but they should to prevent rusting.

I have been using this set for over two years now, and have no complaints at all. Every punch is still blemish free, and the doming block is as smooth as new. I can be a bit hard on my tools, because I seem to find multiple purposes for them that I am sure they weren't meant for... I also use the punches in my vice to hammer form sheet metal. You could say my doming set has been well used, and well loved! The only small irregularity is the holes made to hold the punches in the block are not all large enough. Easily solved my flipping the punches upside down. Minor issue, and not worth deleting one star. Would have no problem recommending this to anyone!

This doming block set is by far the best that I have found for the money and for the amouth of punches you get. I use this set on a daily basis. I make my own jump rings. I use the different domes to close my jump rings and to work harden them. Shipped quickly.
