This foot fits my Singer Curvy without any problems, but I noticed that the markings on the foot don't match up exactly with the markings on my needle plate. I took the foot off and checked it with my seam gauge and a second ruler to be sure, I tried on the metric and the imperial side and it's not a perfect match for anything. It's not wildly off, but it's definitely noticeable, though the foot doesn't claim to be accurate, just "incrementally marked". So if you want this foot to measure your seam allowances, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you just want this to keep one line of stitching parallel to another this works just fine.

I have trouble staying straight when I sew. This foot keeps me right where I want tp be. I love it. I just wish it was measured in 8ths and not 16ths. It makes it a little hard to focus. I still like though.

This is so practical! So often it's hard to see the guides on the machine plate. Since the markings ride over the top of the fabric, it's easy to stay on track. I also like the fact that I can use it on my other machines. If you have difficulty keeping track of which line you are watching, you can "mark" by putting masking tape over the outer lines that you aren't using.

I used first a couple of days ago, and I believe it is a little easier to use than the regular J foot on my sewing machine.
