Every artist who draws with charcole or pencils should purchase this item. Plus it's way much cheaper then buying it in a art store. I honestly feel like it improves my piece look and feel by like 50%.

I have used this [product in the past for charcoal drawings of my own and it worked great. Now, many years later, I used this to spray on some chalk/pastel drawings done by my sons when they were young and it seems to do the trick! (I am not going to try smearing the colors to see just how it works, however.)

I use this on pencil, chalk, and oil pastel as of now. This is the BEST thing I can find. I have applied this to all my artwork. I have tried rubbing and smearing my artwork and NONE of them have smeared. I am so in love with this product, and my artwork is safe to the touch! I will continue to use this on all my artwork.

It did the job, but I wished it had a little more control on the spray. A wide spray or narrow spray.

This product does what it promises to do for works of art rendered in charcoal, pastels, etc. But it does much more.

If you use chalk anywhere, such as chalkboard labels, or have chalkboard paint on a wall, it seals the lettering.

Sprayed on natural dried florals, it works identically to the Krylon 6-Ounce Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating Aerosol Spray to preserve them.

I discovered this recently when a dried floral in an arrangement I purchased for my door began to protest being placed outdoors in damp weather. It dripped some kind of substance and left a sticky residue on the ground.

After doing a little research on floral fixatives, I almost purchased the Clear Acrylic Spray until I decided to trying the Workable Fixative I had on hand. Just as I had hoped, it sealed the leaves and stopped the dripping.
