I bought this set for my mother, she loves to paint, but hasn't done so in a long time. I bought her this set to get her started again. Its a really cute little set for the price and its a good start up kit, but the box/easel seems a little flimsy, be very careful when handling it.

I chose this set because I have begun painting again and am starting over from scratch. It has everything you need to get started right away. The only reason I did not give this product five stars is because of the quality of the paint brushes. They are very stiff and you will have to soak them and little longer than your average brush to soften the bristles. Other than that,this is a nice kit for someone with a small work area, as well as for travel. Awesome! Love it!

I ordered this for my Sister on a Friday afternoon and she received it on Monday!! Really fast shipping was a plus! Apparently one of the latches was bent but she was able to bend it back into proper shape. She is just starting to get into oil painting so this set is a perfect intro. I would have rated it a full 5 stars had it not been for the lock being bent but it came complete, no missing pieces and overall good quality.
