This stuff is amazing. It's easy to apply, and you can add skin safe silicone thinners/thickeners to achieve desired texture. Most importantly, you can make ONE PIECE, REUSABLE molds. If you know anything about mold making and casting you would know that this is essentially unheard of, making this product pretty revolutionary. The only con is that it's expensive, but because you can reuse the molds, over time you save money. The molds roll/peel off with ease, but immediately retain their desired shape.

The molds fill well with plaster, which you can tint with acrylic paint or oxide powder. You can also melt plastiline on the stove and pour it in, and then continue to mold it. You can use a lot of other casting materials also (even some low temp metal alloys if you are fortunate enough to have a foundry), but these two are the most cost effective. Buy this.

This was a fun project with the kids. A word of warning though -even though I smeared them generously with vaseline, it pulled out half of the hairs on their eyebrows and eyelashes. Then, intriguingly, the resin I used in the silicone masks pulled those hairs out of the masks, so that the resin casts now have real eyelashes and eyebrows. It's genuinely spooky!
