For anyone looking for exact measurements for the small sized dress form, they are as follows:

Bust: 33" to 40"

Waist: 26" to 33"

Hips: 36" to 42"

Back Waist Length: 15" to 17"

Neck: 14" to 17"

I'm providing this information because I'd googled around for it for nearly half an hour and couldn't find anything, then I called Amazon.com customer service to see if they could find this information for me, and they couldn't, in fact the first representative actually disconnected the call, but the second representative that I spoke with, Natalie, convinced me to go through with the purchase, she even upgraded my shipping to next day, and called me after it was delivered to follow up to make sure that it was what I wanted. Measurements are a crucial component when deciding what dress form to buy, and being new at sewing in general, I'd researched for months on which one to get, and the price on this seemed too good to be true, but believe me when I say that it is true!!!

I'm 5 feet 9 inches tall, and it easily adjusted to my height. The adjusting wheels so far move very smoothly, and I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase. The base is nice and sturdy, and it seems solidly built.

So, if you're new to sewing or just don't want to invest tons of money on an adjustable dress form, I'd recommend this product.

After watching Amazon and waiting for the right price and right size for quite awhile, I finally bought this dress form. I had been shopping for one for over a year, but was not willing to spend the $300 for a "unique" shape, nor could I find anyone willing to help me make one out of duct tape. But finally this dress form came up in a size close enough to my measurements. Now then, to be honest, after I set all the sizing wheels (and there are plenty) I still had to use a lot of padding here and there to make it match my actual shape. The first thing I did is put an old bra on it and stuffed it (reminded me of when I was 13 years old). Next, I added dacron batting to the stomach, shoulders, and across the upper back.

When all this extra stuff was stuck on the form, it looked just awful like a cross between the Mummy and Frankenstein. So, I bought some 4-way stretch lycra in a nice color, stretched it tightly around the widest part of my dummy double, and sewed a tube to that measurement, using a stretch stitch. I rolled it over the dress form, and pinned a shoulder and neck seam. I stitched that, trimmed it, and put the cover back on. Because it is a stretch fabric, I used flat head pins down center front, back, sides, and waist to keep it from slipping (the pins also serve as guidelines).

So, for $77 for the dress form, a few dollars of batting, and about $10 for the lycra, I have a dress form that is exactly my shape and saved $200!

I actually had made one from duct tape (instructions are online) a few years ago and she worked ok for a while. But she didn't stand very steady and didn't turn easily without falling over. Then I gained some weight but my duct tape dummy did not. So I was about to ask my daughter to help me make a new one but I decided to take a look on Amazon. The price was right but I worried about the quality. I decided to give her a try and I'm so happy I did.

It only took 15 minutes to get her set up and completly adjusted to my size. I was in the middle of making a jacket when she arrived so I put her right to work. What a joy to work with! She's lightweight but stands very stedy. She never complains and turns easy when I need her to. The adjustable height is a nice feature. The hem marker is another great feature.

The gears that adjust her size are made of plastic but are easy to use and since I'm only using her for myself I don't plan on changing her size too often... (well I do hope to make her a little smaller if I can take off a few pounds)

This is a great tool for anyone who makes their own garments.

I just purchased the Sew You dressform. It arrived quickly and I put it to work. I found the size adjustments easy to use. Just dialed to the measured size. It was easy to pin into a necessity for the embellishments I create. Also, the hem marker is a nice feature I haven't seen on other forms. Can't wait to use that too. And...the price was right. Glad I found it. It will get lots of use! Dritz Sew You Dressform, Medium

I wasn't looking to spend much money on my first dress form and this was the best deal around. It was easy to put together but I had to send the first one back because one of the plastic adjustment wheels broke when I was adjusting it to my size. (The return process was easy.) The second dress form arrived promptly and I learned from the first one how to adjust it slowly and evenly so it doesn't break. The dials are not very sturdy so once it is adjusted, hopefully you won't need to make major adjustments again. You could also leave it at the smallest size and pad it with batting to customize it for yourself. My bust measurements are a little tricky to adjust. I have a small band size but large cup size. I think that I might have to put a padded bra on it to make it closer to my size. It will work well for my casual sewing needs.
