I personally LOVE kiki's delivery service and Studio Ghibli, they create wonderful and beautiful stories
that anyone can watch and enjoy.
I bought this stamp set when I visited Kiddyland in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan back in 2007 on a high school
trip with my Japanese class. (kiddyland is a popular Toy Store in Japan, it's fun to visit there!)
the stamp set is a bit small-it's about the size of a fist, it's adorable!
the case is pink, it holds four stamps (kiki, two of jiji the cat, and kiki's sign from the bread shop), and
an ink pad that is colored red. the stamps and the ink pad are all square-shaped.
I'm not sure if the sets can come in different colors or have different colored inks, but this was the one I got.
the stamps themselves are made from wood-with rubber on the bottoms (the actual stamp).
the stamps (the stamp image) are about the size of a thumb nail-literally! (about less than an inch)
the stamp sticks are about an inch or so, they look cute with their small size.
of course, you can take the stamps and use different colored inks from other pads you can buy from a store.
however-just be sure to clean the stamps carefully after using different colors, otherwise they'll mix together and they
won't look so nice anymore. (I use to play with stamps when I was a little girl)
the stamp set is fun to collect and use for anyone who is a Kiki or a Studio Ghibli fan. they're fun for all ages,
for arts and crafts, writing letters or cute notes to family and friends, and so on.
However, Be Warned...the stamps ARE VERY SMALL and little children should NOT be left alone with these type of stamps,
they are a choking hazard due to their small size. the set itself (when closed) is safe enough, but the pieces are small.
this is a really cute stamp set, it's worth the buy for anyone who loves Studio Ghibli or is a fan of stamps!
