This video is awesome! There is also a second part to this DVD, for color rendering, so look it up! I highly suggest it for students of ID. It's ONLY about rendering with traditional old school methods of marker and pastel/pencil, but all these principles still apply to digital rendering with Sketchbook or Photoshop. If you truly want to learn how to render materials, from glossy to matte, I suggest this DVD as well as the second part. If you want a strictly digital rendering how-to video, then I suggest looking elsewhere, like Renderdemo.com's DVDs.

I just got this thread in the mail this morning and I have already used the golden yellow spool. It is very good thread. A spool of thread like this at our local fabric store will cost $6 per spool. This is such a good product for the money. It came very neatly packed and it has colors that I did not already have.

Useful for just about anything you want to keep track of, remember, draw, etc., especially when you're out and about. Small, thin, flexible, lightweight, fits into a pocket or purse,--and did I say totally cool too? To-do lists, shopping lists, absolutely indispensible to me! I buy these in all colors, and use them at home too. I label the covers for reference, for instance: Guests/menus (so I don't forget and serve the same dishes to the same people!), Computer (tips, things I want to ask about), Garden (what and when I planted or harvested with notes), Auto (repairs, oil changes)--you get the idea. One is labeled for each of my kids (notes of what they'd like or what gifts I gave them, etc. etc. etc.). I like this better than computerized lists; these are just more available, always, a forever reference! A great and thoughtful gift, people love them.

I can't say how much I love these. I bought 3, then bought 6 more after using them on rotations. I usually don't spring for expensive notebooks but these are exactly what I needed, and aren't a bad price for Moleskine. It fits perfectly in my white coat pocket and is sturdy for taking notes on rounds. The second half has scored paper that you can remove, but the scores are very secure and don't separate without deliberate effort, so it's not going to come apart if you don't want it to.

I'm teaching myself how to use an airbrush and checked out several YouTube videos that contributors posted in what worked for them. One suggested getting a cleaning pot to clean your brushes and it made sense. What didn't make sense was the price but if you need it, you need it, right!? I got this cleaning pot about two weeks after ordering it and was surprised at its weight. The pot itself I thought was plastic but its thick glass. Now I see why its priced the way it is because its built to last which we all know that these days few things are. This product is well made and should last the life of my hobby.

I feel that this product could be better although many people like it. It does not work very well with Badger Products. Look at my Video to see my results.

I modified the inlet with a thin walled brass pipe and placed the original plug back in the end of the brass pipe. This allows the inlet to be out farther to allow the Badger air-brush to fit. I drilled a hole on the side of the cap in the dome and put a siphon pipe in, then used surgical tubing to connect to the new pipe in the cap and cut a siphon pipe from one of the lids. I can now put the air-brush in the cleaning station and attach the modified siphon pipe to the air-brush and use badger cleaner fluid in the basin/pot to clean out the air-brushes. There is no way to attach a bottle of cleaner to the air-brush while in the station and using the smaller open paint pots only work for gravity feed. If you make this mod beware it is a siphon and if you drop the end of the siphon pipe on the table it will leak any fluid that's in the pot all over the table. Place it in the inlet when finished.

For the price the seller offers for the product, as leverbacks are usually a lot more expensive than regular fish hook earrings. I appreciate the price, however, the silver coating is not shiny as I'd like for my jewelry to be, and even after wiping to clean the surface, it's not quite shiny, and the silver coating is not all the same quality. Even though the price is good, I will spend more for other leverbacks with even silver coating quality for the future purchase.

Ok...so I never give bad reviews, however these are total CRAP!. First of all if I would have realized they shipped from China I would not have ordered them because they took forever to get. Second, they DON'T OPEN WITHOUT USING NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS!!!. I guess the saying you get what you pay for is in order here.

I am a scrap-booker and have brought these to make cards with stamps. It is a good starter set with enough blending colors to keep you occupied. I do recommend that you test out each marker on scratch paper first. I had brought a swatch book to go with the markers and excitedly began filling it in. Some of the nibs are saturated with ink that at first touch you get a big blob. I will now have to purchase another swatch book. Great colors though.

This is some of the best watercolour "Artist" grade paint out there and a generous 1/2 oz to boot with a great price. The color is outstanding, vibrant and has excellent reviews. I have 12 colors so far and will buy more.

Something I found out.... Some "Student" grade watercolour paint is as good as the "Artist/Professional" quality, certain colors that is. READ the label to see what it is made with and how many colors and mixed for the paint. Off course always make sure it is a P for Pigment. So look at:

These are smooooth and lusciously beautiful watercolors. I love them. It's also wonderful to have five cobalts too, colbalts really open up skies. I've always only used Windsor and Newton (which I still love), but I'm happy to have found other excellent paint makers. I love working with these paints.
