I really love the Prismacolor dual tip brush pens that retail for $5.99 each... so when I saw these water-based brush tip markers for such a cheap price on amazon I decided to try them out. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The brush tips on these markers are about 50% smaller/thinner than the dual tip pens and not as soft so much less like painting and more like a somewhat flexible felt tip pen. The tips are sharp and thin enough to make a really thin line with a steady hand.

The target market for these markers are school age children. As far as age is concerned I believe it would very much depend on the child. I have 7 year olds and a 4 year old that I would not let use these markers because they would destroy the brush tips in 5 minutes or less. If you know your child is rough on markers, then I suggest you save a few $ and opt for a big cheap $3 set from a big box store that they can use till they are broken. On the other hand, if your child is already doing art with fine details and gentle with pens then s/he will love these.

If I had received a set of markers like these in highschool I would have been stoked.. and I was big into art. These are great for coloring manga or comics for adults or older kids and a lot cheaper... just be careful if you're coloring the same work with alcohol based pens as the ink from these can smudge slightly if you overlap onto it.

I am extremely pleased with these markers... I only wish there were more colors.

I do intricate coloring and these markers are great. fine point and the colors are very vibrant. they last a long time and excellent for the cost.

i thought they would be more blendable, i'm kind of disappointed in prismacolor which sucks cuz i live by their products as an artist. very nice, fine brush tip though, can get a variety of widths and line quality. this is the first set of artist grade markers i've bought so i guess its okay.

Got the set on sale. I'd never used an airbrush before. The items in the kit are more than sufficent for the hobbyist or tinkerer. The instructions even include tips on how to use the product and a short set of lessons. Internet sources said the bottle tops fit testor paint bottles, however this was not the case in the set I received. Easy to clean and break down. I'd reccomend buying a cleaning brush set to go along with it. In all, pleasantly surprised!

I have mixed feelings about this punch. My expectations were high because I like most of my McGills brand punches and this one didn't live up to those expectations.

It cuts through stiff paper just fine, and makes nice even slots for weaving ribbon or paper through so it works for the bags I wanted it for.

Pros:

The soft handles are easy to grip

The trap works just fine on mine

deep throat makes it work for most applications

Cuts nicely through the paper weights that I wanted to use it with

Cons:

Handles felt a bit stiff which made it harder to use

Have to squeeze hard to get through card stock

not really designed for very small hands

trap is badly designed. It started out tight and got looser the more it was used

I'll use this on the paper bag projects that I got it for, but that's about it.

A tip to keep your slots the same depth and evenuse tape to mark a line inside the throat of the punch, then you can line up on that to keep your slots even.

This is the worst paper punch I have ever tried to use. It is not sharp enough to punch through cardstock and will barely punch through regular paper. It also left black marks on the paper. The part that should hold the small pieces of punched paper does not fit tight enough to hold them in the reservoir so you end up with little pieces of paper all over the place. This is being returned and I will have to try my luck with another brand.

This is very sturdy and works well, however, it wasn't what I expected. I expected the holes to be a little wider and longer than they actually were. I have been able to use it for what I bought it for but had to change the ribbon I was using.

I'm teaching myself how to use an airbrush and checked out several YouTube videos that contributors posted in what worked for them. One suggested getting a cleaning pot to clean your brushes and it made sense. What didn't make sense was the price but if you need it, you need it, right!? I got this cleaning pot about two weeks after ordering it and was surprised at its weight. The pot itself I thought was plastic but its thick glass. Now I see why its priced the way it is because its built to last which we all know that these days few things are. This product is well made and should last the life of my hobby.

I feel that this product could be better although many people like it. It does not work very well with Badger Products. Look at my Video to see my results.

I modified the inlet with a thin walled brass pipe and placed the original plug back in the end of the brass pipe. This allows the inlet to be out farther to allow the Badger air-brush to fit. I drilled a hole on the side of the cap in the dome and put a siphon pipe in, then used surgical tubing to connect to the new pipe in the cap and cut a siphon pipe from one of the lids. I can now put the air-brush in the cleaning station and attach the modified siphon pipe to the air-brush and use badger cleaner fluid in the basin/pot to clean out the air-brushes. There is no way to attach a bottle of cleaner to the air-brush while in the station and using the smaller open paint pots only work for gravity feed. If you make this mod beware it is a siphon and if you drop the end of the siphon pipe on the table it will leak any fluid that's in the pot all over the table. Place it in the inlet when finished.

Woodless graphite is the only kind of pencils I will draw with. I love these. 2 sets of 2B, 4B, and 6B and they come in a tin which is so handy because woodless is so fragile.

These are wonderful pencils. Solid, good quality, such a great texture, just absolutely wonderful to draw with. I've got a stockpile of a couple of extra boxes at my house in case I run out. And I love the cases, as I can slip them into a purse or backpack easily and not take up a lot of space.

This isn't really a complaint, since it's quite clear that these come in 2B, 4B, and 6B, but I'd really like a wider range of hardness, if the Art Alternative people started wanting to branch out and make more sets.

I love that there is no wood! It is a very deep charcoal color which is great. It says to use a knife to sharpen it but I used a graphite sharpener and it worked wonderfully! I am in love with them and would highly recomend them. I also love the variety of shades. (2B, 4B, 6B)

I used these cubes to transform my entertainment armoire into my craft storage center. Previously, I had stored my supplies in large plastic totes. In order to find an item, I basically had to remove all the contents. The result was that I never used them. I purchased several cubes and the different size satchels. I placed the cubes inside the cabinet and the satchels just slide in and out on the rails. I bought different colors of satchels to help me quickly find what I need. Now my craft supplies are easy to find and easy to put away. I use them much more often. I ordered several of the super satchel cubes to hold my ArtBin storage containers, and these are great for storing projects in progress, threads, other craft items, etc. I have several of them stacked 2 high and can rearrange them in my sewing room to fit the space. The only thing is that I could not also get the casters together in this order to make these cubes more mobile, so had to order them elsewhere.

This item consists of 5 pieces of laminated particle board and some metal rails. The cases are not included.

Nowhere in the description does it say that cases are not included, and the picture shows the cases in the box. This seems intentionally misleading. Especially at a $50 price point, I expected more than a few pre-drilled pieces of particle board.

I returned immediately. There are much better looking, sturdier craft storage containers out there for a fraction of the cost.

I have purchased this item before and was very happy with it, however this time it cost more money and the quality was poor. The holes for the brackets that the artbins slide on were not spaced correctly. Some of them were too far apart and I broke several of the brackets trying to get them in the holes. The edges of the outside veneer on the box are rough coming away in some places and look like it was just haphazardly slapped on to the pressboard and not worth the price paid.

I must not of read this good for I was assuming youd get different tips..these are all the same tips.pointy.ill use them for taking my tracing paper and rubbing these on the bck to transfer it to watercolor paper..so im not happy about getting only pointy tips and nothing else..cant say ill buy them again without being in a store to see what im getting.

I was impressed by the variety of brushes for the price, but that was where my favorable impressions ended. Several of the brushes had inconsistent thread lengths and needed to be trimmed for consistency, and I had one brush literally fall apart in my hand while I was using it, the capping connecting the brush to the shaft just falling off. Probably to be expected given the Made in China stamped on every brush. All in all, probably not a terrible investment if you just need a selection of brushes to get you through a college elective or high school art class as long as you don't mind having to glue a couple of them back together, but certainly not a worthwhile investment for a serious artist or avid hobbyist.

This is a good starter set for anyone beginning to paint. The set has brushes for oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting. However, it has been my experience that you can use any brush for any type of paintig. As you get more experience you will fine you like some more than others. That is why I recommend a cheaper set like this to start out with. You can spend a fortune on brushes if you want to but why invest alot of money until you are sure you are going to like to paint.

These brushes (and alot of the cheaper ones) shed a little. If this happens you can take a tooth pick and gently lift the hair off your canvas.

Recommend for all beginners.

They were shipped to me in a reasonable amount of time. However, I was expecting these brushes to somewhat work... As I was taking them out of the package, 4 of them fell apart. The rest were very wiggly too. Also, the oil brushes were completely stiff and had some sort of resin or something on them, and they had very tough bristles overall.

I would not recommend. This was a TERRIBLE product.
