I am always amazed that some rugged pants like work jeans and cargo pants come with sewn on plastic closure buttons. Normal wear and tear means these buttons crack and fall off (sometimes when it's least convenient). These tack buttons provide a strong fastener that's easy to apply and looks good doing it.

Included tool works well. Instructions are clear. Make sure you have a strong, flat surface to whack the button in place.

Work as advertised and look really good. Use them to replace poorly sewn buttons on Levi's shorts. They fall off, you end up losing them and good luck finding a replacement. These really fit the bill. AAA+++!!!.

This is fantastic stuff. I don't use it for it's intended purpose though. Ever wanted a deadbolt catch that won't split if someone tries to kick it in? This is how you do it, hollow out the area between the door frame & the wood of the adjoining stud, make sure it's bigger than what the deadbolt will be, once it hardens it's very difficult to make the opening larger. Mix together this putty & fill the hole with it. I did it using a pre-made deadbolt catch, like a metal hole with 4" screws to put it into the wall. Mixed up this putty, let it start to harden, then set the metal frame into the putty, put the long screws in & let it harden. You can not break the deadbolt trhough the door frame one this sets up!

It's also terrific for any fiberglass repairs like a fiberglass sink or tub, use tiny amounts to fill the cracks as it's not easily sanded once it's set.

This product is easy to mix and apply (you really do only have about 5 min of work time). Sanding smooth is no problem. The only problem I have here is that there is only a little bit of it. The 4 ounces is total for the two components mixed together. The paper cups and popsicle sticks are a waste of time and a waste of product if you use them.

Purchased this kit to fix a "ABS' bathtub pipe that had a crack in it. Couldn't replace the "ABS" pipe without taking the bathtub out. This Marine Goop did the trick. From the first floor ceiling (cut open), I could reach the pipe and repair it. Very satisfied, five stars.

I ordered these so that I would be able to draw more realistic skin tones. The colors that came in the box were as follows:

Four shades of brown, ranging from medium to very dark brown (Labelled mahogany, brown, dark brown, and light brown)

Black

Red

Maize (a yellowish green-brown)

Peach (which was sort of orange-y looking to me)

I think these would be better advertised as earth-tones, rather than "multi-cultural" shades. I was looking for a set of pencils that ran the spectrum of human skin tones, which these aren't very helpful with. The peach brown shades were those that could be found in any set of 50+ colored pencils, and the other ones weren't really skin tones.

So, while I'm sure they'd be great for nature sketches, and might work for some, they aren't what I was looking for.

I bought these so that my kids could have a wider variety of realistic colors from which to choose when drawing people. The colors in this box are Black, Brown, Dark Brown, Mahogany, Maize, Peach and Red. Standard colored pencil sets ALL come with black, brown, and red. I don't know why they are included here. They are not special skin tone versions of these colors, just basic red, black, and brown. The other colors are not great representations of skin colors either. These are good pencils that lay down a smooth line of color, but they are not a set of eight skin-colored pencils as I thought. James' wife

It can be frustrating to color people or nature scenes with most colored pencil sets, since the browns and tans are usually so limited. This set solves that problem! Black is included, but I wish they had white also, so any of these tones can be lightened with a cover of white.

As a person who is old enough to remember when a light peach colour was labelled "flesh" in the pencil box, I couldn't resist adding these "Colors of my Friends" to my pencil crayon collection. Besides giving a variety of tones for sketching at Life Drawing, I think they might be handy for subtle landscape colors. The pencils are not as waxy as Prismacolor or Dick Blick's Studio Colors but they are a nice addition. I haven't tried a blender stick on them, but I would imagine that they would blend toojust hasn't come in to my use for fairly short poses. Also, these "Multicultural" pencils are a bit of a conversation piece in an art group!

These needles were purchased to use as tools in teaching a class in beginning knitting. They are smooth and lightweight but strong enough to allow for dropping and/or tight clenches. I'm sure they could break but I've never experienced a problem with them. It was great to be able to buy enough needles in a single size here. We live in a rural area nearly 100 miles from the closest yarn shop. The price was right and the quality was great!

A few years ago, a friend tried to teach me to knit continental-style on those old aluminum needles. I tried and tried, but I just couldn't get the hang of it. The yarn kept falling off the needles. A few weeks ago I heroically decided I was going to knit my boyfriend a scarf for Christmas. No ifs, ands, or buts about it; it was going to happen or I'd die trying. I watched the videos on youtube and other online websites and noticed that a lot of people use bamboo needles. So I bought a pair of Clover size 8 needles and some yarn and got started. What a difference bamboo makes. I now knit and purl away. Perhaps it also helps that I use the American/English/throwing knitting style now, which is purported to be easier for beginners. The needles grip the yarn snugly enough so that I don't drop stitches as I used to. The yarn doesn't slide sloppily all over the place, yet there is enough slack to knit comfortably and easily. Since these are only 9" long, they are much more ergonomic and put less strain on the hands and wrists than the longer needles do. My scarf is coming along so nicely that a few days ago I ordered a pair of Brittany needles in size 19 and have since started a thicker, chunkier scarf for myself. Next project: a knit hat and knitting in the round. (Wish me luck!)

Bottom line: if I can knit, so can you. I'm not artsy in any way, a fact that I've always lamented. But now I too delight in going in craft stores, places I'd previously only gazed at from afar, because I never had any idea how to USE anything I found inside. I can't draw, paint, or play a musical instrument, but I CAN knit and crochet and create awesome things. Finally I've triumphed in channeling my artistic inner child! Get these needles. You won't regret it. In my very limited experience, both Brittany and Clover needles are fantastic for the beginning knitter.

As a beginner knitter, it was recommended that I use wooden needles. The shorter length has made it easier for me to control what I am doing. Also, the bamboo makes the yarn slip just enough, but not too much as in with acrylic or metal needles.

Overall, a good price. My next purchase will be circular needles.

I'm just learning how to knit and I bought these based off of the other reviews. At first I thought they were a little difficult to use because they are a bit small. I bought some larger plastic ones thinking that they'd be easier to knit with but the points were dull on them so I went back to these because the points are sharper making it easier to grasp the yarn with. The bamboo allows the yarn to glide nicely without being too slippery where you lose stitches.

Got this so I could practice. I talked to a couple knitters. They recommended this type and brand due to the price and also the comfortability for beginners. I'm glad I got this. I tried some of the metal ones, which did feel more sturdy but were slippery. The bamboo ones seem to be able to hold the worsted weighted yarn pretty well. I have smaller hands so I prefer to work with smaller kneedles on smaller projects. I think the longer kneedles can be kind of akward to manipulate, especially if you are just starting out and learning how to knit. The price on Amazon is also very reasonable. I went to Michael's and other stores, which were trying to sell these for a bit more. I liked my first set so much, I bought another of different point.

For those who don't know, the inches tell you how long the knitting needle is. The point size tells you how big the diameter of the point of the kneedle is. If you want to learn how to knit, you should try getting worsted weight yarn (because it is thick) and a needle point size similar to this one so you will have bigger loops in your knit. I have found that it is easier to manipulate bigger loops than smaller ones when you start.

Woodless graphite is the only kind of pencils I will draw with. I love these. 2 sets of 2B, 4B, and 6B and they come in a tin which is so handy because woodless is so fragile.

These are wonderful pencils. Solid, good quality, such a great texture, just absolutely wonderful to draw with. I've got a stockpile of a couple of extra boxes at my house in case I run out. And I love the cases, as I can slip them into a purse or backpack easily and not take up a lot of space.

This isn't really a complaint, since it's quite clear that these come in 2B, 4B, and 6B, but I'd really like a wider range of hardness, if the Art Alternative people started wanting to branch out and make more sets.

I love that there is no wood! It is a very deep charcoal color which is great. It says to use a knife to sharpen it but I used a graphite sharpener and it worked wonderfully! I am in love with them and would highly recomend them. I also love the variety of shades. (2B, 4B, 6B)

Some of the silver pieces on the items are already tarnished and no longer shiny. Some metal pieces that were glued to the wood were falling off. Screw in pieces did not fit properly on some pieces. Item looked old and was dirty when I opened the box.

I recently received this set of pens and the one I used is absolutely fantastic! It blends ink from Copic, Spectrum Noir, and Stabilo seamlessly. In fact, I use far less ink from my colored pens because I don't have to precisely fill each area I go in with the blender afterward and the result is a smooth, no-line area of color. Great for gradations of color amd shading, too. The colorless ink dries quickly. I can't recommend this product highly enough and am currently ordering two more sets just to have on hand.

This product does not work in that the bead moves around even though I tightened it as much as I could.

This offering of a Pearl Hole Drilling Holder Vise Beading Precision Tool by FindingKing will not be used by me to drill Pears, but I do plan to drill out beads to have larger holes and also some use on Wooden Beads. This tool, combined with a watch frame holder in a vise lets me use my Proxxon rotary drill by hand to drill a bead out and work over a holes' edge. It is worth the 9$ paid and I recommend it for general holding use.

I bought these brushes not realizing that they're huge! I won't fault the product for this, but myselfbecause I didn't realize when I bought them that they were so large.

Be aware of that when buying them! The smallest one is about the length of a sheet of paperso I'd say 11 inches or so!

For the money, and if you need such large brushes, they're a good buysturdy wooden handles and good bristles.

My only complaint about this purchase would have to be the case. The way the brush pockets are sewn, it's very easy for a brush to come sliding out, and on multiple occasions when I've been handling it not-too-carefully, I've had several of them slip out and onto the floor.

Well, whoever mentioned that these brushes are HUGE wasn't kidding. Not too surprised though (I prepared myself just in case) so that's not really a big deal. However, the brushes are not of any kind of quality (which I guess I should have expected for less than a dollar a brush). They're very stiff/straw like and easily fray (I haven't even started using them yet, and a few bristles have already gone askew). Doing detailed work is going to be difficult, I'm sure, and I hardly doubt they'll distribute paint evenly. The case was sewn sort of crooked, so it's hard to zip up (be careful not to tip it as you zip it, or they'll slide right out) but I'm satisfied with the material the case itself made out of. Even if I buy new brushes, I may keep using the case.

All in all, I had higher expectations than I should have, so it's basically my fault for being disappointed.

I bought this item for the case and extra brushes. The case is cheap and I had a hard time even folding it properly. It says it is 15 inches tall but it is really more around 14 inches and would not fit my 14 and 1/4 inch brush like I thought it would.

I thought the brushes would make a nice backup but they are very stiff and freyed. I would not recommend this item for even a beginner artist.

These scissors are going into the junk drawer to be used for some odd job on which I don't want to ruin a "good" tool.

The "soft grip handles" are not comfortable. Additionally, the holes are sized for children or for the hands that manufacture them (in China). There is a burr on one edge, that I have been unable to remove. And the blades grind together.

I've been using these scissors for two years and they are still sharp. The joint is still tight (not like some scissors that get loose with age) and the blades cut swiftly and easily.
