I knew when I saw the spools that they were much smaller than the normal size spools I usually buy, but for some reason I was still shocked when I ran out of thread in the middle of piecing a wall quilt. The quilt is probably 2' by 3' and I'm about 3/4 of the way finished with the piecing. I'll have to either use another color out of the assortment or go out and buy the color I was using to finish it.

The assortment is great with just about every color you can imagine and the thread is really nice quality, but if you plan on doing more then very small projects, you'll need more than just one spool of thread.

Reviews of Fiskars Mini ShapeBoss Embossing Stencil Set CHRISTMAS (5642)

Customer Ratings:

I absolutely love this stencil because it's very nice to make cards with, and I use this on the front or on the backside of the card! There are many different images on the stencil and that makes it useful. In Finland we only have the "NOEL" version, not this version of a christmas stencil, and this one is far more cuter than the "NOEL" version that only has a reindeer, mountains, an angle and some snow on it. This one you will probably like more! :)

Discount Royal and Langnickel Colour By Number Pencil, Tropical Fish

Customer Ratings:

from the packaging, you are led to believe that you can color

this picture and it will have beautiful vibrant colors. Not so.

If they provided markers, it would be closer to the picture.

They don't, so it's very faded looking.

Customer Ratings:

I have not used them yet because they are so small. They are as small as the disks I throw away used. They are smaller than the normal disks you would get in a 20 pack. The other offer with the cooling holes might be better, at lease they are the same size as the normal disk pack of 20.

Review of Making Memories Tag Maker Kit

Customer Ratings:

The instructions are vague at best with unhelpful pictures. If the tag does not come out right you cannot recover the rim. The crimping tool flattened the rim very unevenly, there is nothing to hold the tag steady inside the tool. This is a specialized tool with tool specific materials that does not work the way it should, do not waste your time and money on this product.

Tool is fun and makes really cool tags for any scrapbooking page! You just use the cut out to measure then place paper, picture or whatever in the outline and crimp it in, anybody can do this simple project

I painted a kitchen window in a vineyard scene. This paint set allowed me to be creative, but I couldn't manage a dark enough green (for my liking). The project turned out pretty well, regardless. I just kept adding coats and blending colors until I got the look I wanted. The quality of these paints and packaging of the set was top notch.

These paints are amazing! I wanted to paint some of the windows in my home and I wasn't 100% sure what colors I wanted to use, but when I bought these this set was priced at under $30. That's a phenomenal price, because it's around $3 per bottle if you buy the bottles individually. It was worth it to me to have so many colors to experiment with while I decided what I wanted on my windows, and I plan to use as much as the paint as possible painting sun-catchers as holiday gifts. If they're priced at less than $2.99/bottle and you want a variety of colors to play with, this set is a great value! I have had one window painted for a couple of weeks now, and it looks great and is holding up well. I've started on the next.

Love these scissors. They are made well, sharp sharp sharp and have a fine tip for details. The only scissors I've bought over the years. And a life time warranty! What more can you ask for?

These scissors are going into the junk drawer to be used for some odd job on which I don't want to ruin a "good" tool.

The "soft grip handles" are not comfortable. Additionally, the holes are sized for children or for the hands that manufacture them (in China). There is a burr on one edge, that I have been unable to remove. And the blades grind together.

I use these for fireline when I bead. makes a good clean cut every time. five more words needed so here.

These scissors cut like butter. Never had a pair that was this good. No matter what the material is, it cut great. Everyone needs a pair.

I've been using these scissors for two years and they are still sharp. The joint is still tight (not like some scissors that get loose with age) and the blades cut swiftly and easily. I use them on paper and to slice open packaging on boxes. I also like the grippy fingerholds; I find them comfortable. Highly recommend.

I am new to acrylics. I started with a set I found on clearance using Liquitex. I didn't even know that this paint was artist's quality. I am really glad I started with thick paint. If I were a professional, I could probably give a better review, but I don't see how anyone can complain for the price.

I buy Moleskine journals for writing and as project notebooks, and their quality always impresses me. The size and layout of the extra large, squared page Cahier journals makes them perfect for documenting projects and for sketching quick layouts and designs. Further, the high quality paper does not yellow over time. I would highly recommend these notebooks to anyone.

I like this size. Just right for a small notebook. I like the quality and style. I never could get used to the smaller moleskine books.

Best Deals for Moleskine Cahier Journal (Set of 3), Extra Large, Squared

I have purchased three of these 3-packs, and I am about to place another order. I have been using them for about a year for everything from organizing my quilt plans, calendar journaling to help with Project Life, and more recently for sketch notes during church conferences. I love that I can fit April Conference and October Conference together in the same journal with ample room for each speaker. The book is sturdy but lightweight, and the off-white pages have a grid light enough that I can use a pencil if I really wanted to (unlike the grid composition journals with their bright blue grid lines). I have tested a lot of pens on this paper. Ballpoint pens are perfect, but I haven't had any problems with Gelly Roll by Sakura, and Micron is great with all the different widths and colors. I have also used scrapbook alphabet stickers, scrapbook paper, and washi tape to decorate some of the inner pages.

Bottom line: I really love these journals. They are great for my uses, and I will continue to use them for as long as I can buy them.

Honest reviews on Moleskine Cahier Journal (Set of 3), Extra Large, Squared

I am a big fan of Moleskine.

These notebooks are excellent. They are thin enough that you can tuck them into a book and you won't even notice you have it.

The paper holds up to any type of ink.

Just be warned about Moleskine's sizing. X-Large is a standard size composition type book. It is not a legal page size or something I would consider x-large. So if you want a standard 8 1/2 by 11 size notebook, this is it. ( not sure if it is exactly 8 1/2 by 11 ).

Apparently Large in Moleskine's vocabulary is a smaller notebook that standard US sizes.

There is a back pocket to hold a few papers.. And the last 10 pages or so are perferated so you can take them out without tearing up the binding.

I use these for class and reading notes in my doctoral program, and love the feel and smoothness of the pages. They're a good size, don't add a ton of bulk to my bag, and have a few tear-out pages, which are convenient for last minute to-dos or scrap paper. I have to admit, I'm a bit of a nut for organization, so I really appreciate the squared version of these journals.

My one complaint is that the paper tends to bleed through with most gel pens (hence the four stars).

If you haven't given these notebooks a shot yet, they're worth the extra money. Invest in something that will last and you'll enjoy.

This is a really nice art set. It has everything everything needed for doing art in graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, or soft color pastels.

The box that the set is in is really nice, but if moved around a lot the pencils can slide out of place. Also, the orientation of the pencils make it hard to see which grade the pencil is. This can easily be fixed by turning around the whole tray or just the pencils.

I purchased these scissors because I did not own any sewing scissors. I purchased them because I was working on a rag quilt and needed to snip the fabric a few hundred times.

They did cut the fabric nice and cleanly. However my hands ached and the handles were not that comfortable. The blades also felt a little loose sometimes as they cut. I hoped they would be better, but they were good for the price!

Very good and comfortable to use. I have arthritis in my hands so this is important. They were also a good price.

Honest reviews on Singer Sewing and Detail Scissors Set with Pink and White Comfort

One wonders if a good deal will end up a bad investment but these scissors were well worth the risk. I'm very happy with them. I'm dressmaking and these are sharp enough to run the scissor through the materials rather then cutting through. I must admit that from the sharpness, comfort in the hand and pretty design I will continue to buy these throughout my career and use them more frequently then the expensive ones I have in order to keep them at a razors edge when needed for cutting fine satin. I highly recommend these to you. Don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Reviews of Create Your Own Windchime With These Attractive Windchime Tubes

Customer Ratings:

I made a nice wind chime with these pre-drilled medium size pipes. I added other metals charms and got a nice lite sound and pretty look with gold twine. They are the best chimes (with hole already drilled) that I could find anywhere online that have a little weight & size to them. (The really tiny ones from the same company only tinkle). This medium size is not too bad for the money though. I can't find pre-drilled chime pipes anywhere but with this National Aircraft company, so I am pleased for what it cost. I will order more from them -this size only.
