I purchased white kids chef aprons for my son's birthday party. I wanted to write the kids names on each one and have them decorate cupcakes. The set has a nice variety of colors, some were very similar with the only difference being sparkle versions of the color. I first tested the paint on some paper to get a feel of how to use them. I couldn't make mistakes because I had exactly 6 aprons! First of all, this set wouldn't last you very many projects, the paint runs out fast. Another issue that occurred was the paint wouldn't come out and I had to shake the stick over and over, also air bubbles were my enemy! Every time that happened I would be writing a letter and everything was going smoothly and I was feeling happy with the outcome, then a mini explosion of paint would shoot out and completely ruin what I was doing. I ended up drawing some random pictures or designs to hide these mistakes. It just wasn't an easy process and I'm sure there is a better product out there for drawing on fabric.

This is a good way to get many colors inexpensively. At first some of the colors seemed to be duplicated, but they are iridescent, metallic, or glitter versions of a similar color.

The tubes are quite soft, and I would have preferred a smaller tip opening, but for a good variety of colors in a ready-to-use form, this is a great buy.

The display box is re-useable, which makes it easy to see all your colors at once, but I've opted to use a clear, zip-top plastic bag, which takes up a lot less space.

The paint is good quality, as expected from TULIP brand. I mixed it with acrylic medium to thin for some stenciling on a T-shirt, and then full strength for detail, using brushes for all.

I am very pleased with this product, although I would like more product information about the color names to be able to order individual containers of specific colors, if available.

I make handmade dolls and stuffed animals, and I purchased this set of paints for detail work.

I was able to create a very nice looking set of eyes for my current project, using these paints. And it dried quickly and neatly, with no scent.

It's a very nice product and I'll definitely use it again!

Honest reviews on TULIP 28140 Dimensional Fabric Paint, Slick, 30-Pack

This pack of fabric paint is great for kids to use on projects. There's a ton of colors and the tubs are small, similar in size to that of extra large crayons. While there could be more paint inside each of the tubes, there is enough to enjoy working on projects with them. There are also several tubes of each color, which is really handy when you have a group working on stuff all the the same time. I bought this set of paints and some reusable grocery tote bags in a bright lime green color for a kids Halloween project. My kids and their friends each decorated a bag to use for trick-or-treating on Halloween night. The paint dried in a few hours and it stayed nice a puffy, without bleeding into the fabric. Even with 6 kids all decorating bags, they barely made a dent in the amount of paint in this kit. So we will have plenty more paint to use for future projects. Very nice set!

It was good when used on silk. It does not bleed when you do not hold it there. The colors were bright. I would like to get a set with more subdued colors. I could layer but it is still bright.

Reviews of Fiskars Mini ShapeBoss Embossing Stencil Set CHRISTMAS (5642)

Customer Ratings:

I absolutely love this stencil because it's very nice to make cards with, and I use this on the front or on the backside of the card! There are many different images on the stencil and that makes it useful. In Finland we only have the "NOEL" version, not this version of a christmas stencil, and this one is far more cuter than the "NOEL" version that only has a reindeer, mountains, an angle and some snow on it. This one you will probably like more! :)

I've been doing portraits with a variety of graphite pencils for a while now, and somehow I came across

a Kimberly 2H in my collection. It became my go-to pencil of choice and started getting worn down to the nub,

so I got concerned and did a search for them. I found the Kimberly 2H listed here and it's the Best Pencil

It came as fast as it said, even before lunch. Have many projects that I can't wait to use these on. Comes with 2 reducers, will use them for now. Can't find many of these colors at local hobby stores. Also, about the reducers...I was shown there are other products that can be used. If it doesn't work to welll with these paints, I may end having to order the large reducer bottle.

It is a beautiful variety of colors! It does not come with the application guide the side of the bottle refers you to for any information needed and I had a bottle or two show up in the set with considerably less paint in it than the others; otherwise I'd have rated it 5 stars.

I've had these for about 9 months now. I'm not a professional and only use them occasionally but they are awesome. They are of outstanding quality and I have never had any issues with use or spray quality. All metal no plastic bits.

Cleanup is typical but not cumbersome. Their fine "dark chrome" finish and brass parts makes it pretty straight forward.

I bought this set because I wasn't sure exactly which style of brush I wanted and Iwata's are just too pricey to experiment with, given the limited use they would see, but at the same time I didn't want junk.

I have large beefy hands and these are quite comfortable and easy to handle. The action is good and the spray is fine. all adjustments are precise and smooth.

This set was the perfect choice for me, and as it turns out I use all three! Mostly painting RC racing car bodies. I could not be more satisfied, I plan on using them a very long time.

UPDATE: Now over a year in, they continue to impress me. I push them a little more as I get more experienced with them, they will get down to a VERY, VERY fine hairline spray. I mostly use Tamiya acrylic paints straight out of the bottle, no thinner.. flawless stream of fine even spray every time. Never clogs or spits.

This set is a great value...you get all three varieties of the Renegade brushes in a hard plastic carrying case. The trigger action on these are so smooth. Well built, parts are cheap if needed, made in the USA, and Badger has some of the best customer service in the business. These brushes are great for seasoned artists or someone looking to get started. When you look at these priced individually the price on this set is unbeatable.

Ordered this airbrush set to get back to the craft after 17 years. These airbrushes met and surpassed my expectations!!! Super set of three.....and every one of them does a great job. Glad I decided to get back into airbrushing, and even more excited about these brushes.

I love these airbrushes. They feel great. They spray great. The trigger will take some time to get used to because it is a little hard but I like the feel because it feels strong. The airbrushes are heavy and are made very well.I will definitely look to Badger for my airbrush needs.

Not what I ordered. Only one is black the other two are metal and not at all like the black ones. They do what they are suppose to but I like when I order something. For it to arrive as discribed. Or as it looks in the picture.

Lightweight Aluminum Easel with Travel Bag Review

Customer Ratings:

I was a little iffy about purchasing such a cheap easel for my large sketchbook drawings and heavy canvas paintings, though was pleasantly surprised to find that this easel is VERY durable and can hold my heaviest sketchbooks and canvases without becoming "shaky." I am 6'4" tall and am able to stand comfortably while using this easel and can still use it as a tabletop easel if I'd like. If you are a college art student like me, you can understand how difficult it is to haul around all of your supplies across campus. This easel can completely fold down into a small bag (included) that I can easily fit into my backpack, which doesn't cause a strain on my long walks. I was pleased with the price, durability, and light, compact size of this easel and I strongly recommend it for start-up artists like me and other college students.

I really like this product and the price was great. My only complaint is that the legs spead fairly wide apart, hard to set up in small confined areas.

Can be easily moved around because it is so light, but still feels sturdy enough to feel secure while using. Adjustable.

Honest reviews on Lightweight Aluminum Easel with Travel Bag

This is a great easel! It's extremely light, and surprisingly compact--and it even comes with a bag! I'm used to the traditional, very heavy wooden easels, so I was a little afraid that it'd be shaky, since it's so light, but it's been fairly steady--watch out for wind though. I love that it can be adjusted to a table-top easel too! Great to carry around, bring on trips, etc. All this for a great price! Two complaints: 1) the top part that holds the easel, if adjusted too high, doesn't always stay straight--but that's not a problem if the easel's holding a canvas or sketchpad. 2) it opens rather wide, so it's a little hard to use in smaller spaces. Overall though, this was a great buy, I'm so glad I decided on this one!

I recently purchased this easel for oil/acrylic painting. I normally use a 11x14 canvas and it fits in the easel clip like a glove.

For being as lightweight and simple as it is, it's very sturdy.

I was very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a small compact lightweight easel.
