Was sadden to find one hook broken. On arrival. Package was not damaged. The hook was broke off on smallest hook. When I inspecting hook it looks like it was cracked when manufacturing. I have not contacted seller because I need the other hooks to finish rush project. They do seem to be a bit light weight for heavier project. But as I am new to these kind of hooks they are working well for me.

I just made a pair of fingerless mittens with these and I'm quite pleased. I usually work with chep aluminium needles, but I like these better. they are smooth without being too slippery and are very light weight. I also like that they come in a set of 5. The cheap dpns come in sets of 4 but 5 is much easier to work with.

I have at least 50 Nestabilities which I love use almost daily but this time I received lemon! There was a section of the die that would not cut cleanly. I used more than a dozen sheets of paper with various weights ranging from 24 lb copy paper to 110 lb Cover stock and ran it though both my old Big Kick and new Big Shot, both with new cutting pads. I tried turning the die in different directions on the cutting platform and running it back and forth several times. I also used wax paper between the die and paper hoping it would help. One section of the die simply would not cut through the paper, the design would tear each time I tried to remove it from the die. After spending the entire day trying to make it work I returned it.

I have seen this die used and it is beautiful but mine was defective. If you order one, and it does not cut properly...don't waste your time, return it!

I use these with a Sizzix Bigshot and while you do have to apply extra pressure (I use an extra layer or two of cardstock) and use waxed paper for the cutting, I do have problems with the embossing, but I actually think they may be more due to the quality of the embossing mat I have rather than the spellbinders product. All in all I really like these and they are very versatile for different designs on my greeting cards

I love the beautiful butterflies these dies make. Using different colors in combination makes stunning cut-outs to use on my cards. They are a challenge, though. I have to run the dies through the machine several times, and then spend several minutes punching out all the cut-outs. But the results are worth it, and I keep trying other papers and color combinations.

Love this Die, but I can not get clean cuts with my Big Shot. I follow all the You Tube instructions and I also have to put extra volume to may cutting sandwich.

This is a great beginner set to do Zen-Tangles. or any kind of small drawings you may enjoy doing. I have doodled all my life as well as other artistic endeavors; but this "organized doodling" is great. This little set fits nicely in your purse/pocket for those moments in life when you are left hanging/waiting/etc. with nothing to do. Whip out your little kit and zen-fully let your mind wander as your pencil, pen and paper accept your masterful art work, one mark at a time. It takes no artistic talent at all, if you are concerned. I do recommend "the basic Zen-Tangle booklet" though just to get you started. You can also get excellent instructions off the computer (Zen-Tangle) and on YouTube. I've already shared this fun activity with several people, who are in awe when I show them what I've done already and how to do it for themselves. They keep asking, "You did this?" I hope you give it a try and have as much fun as I'm having. Enjoy!

Everything that comes with this kit is nice and perfectly usable except the wire cutters and snips. The tips of the wire cutters are nicked and dull after ONE DAY of use on thin jewelry wire, and I have yet to successfully cut anything with the snips.

Pros: Nice case. I'll probably keep using the case as I replace tools that wear out. Good for travel. The 2 pairs of pliers are fine, mid-to-low-quality pliers. You don't really need much more from round-nose pliers, so I imagine they'll last the longest. The little drawer things are nice, and pretty convenient.

Cons: Tools are made of soft metal, so cutting surfaces wear extremely quickly. It would have been nice if a metal file were included. There's even an extra hoop for one.

The rounding tool is the best quality. The pliers are a rough finish so they will mar your metal. The wire cutter doesn't cut that great. I actually use an angled nail clipper to cut the wire. So, personally, I would purchase more quality tools separately and in stainless steel. If you do buy the set, coat your pliers with tool magic or just put electrical tape on the inside surface so it doesn't dig into your metal. Good luck.

When I bought The Beadalon 7 peice tool kit no where in the description did it say that I was buying a used kit...When I opened my kit the first time I was disappointed to see that all of the tools were dirty and had strange smudges and finger prints all over them. Their were even a few random hairs stuck on the tools. Who ever previously owned this kit tried to re wrap the pliers in plastic. Inside of the plastic was an smelly oily mess and the wire cutting pliers shows signs of HARD use. I am never one to write a bad review but I really thought anyone thinking of purchasing one of these kits should know what they are in for. Even the insignia on the outside is dirty...

Cheap Darice Taklon 5-Piece Long Handle Brush Set

I was intending to use these brushes for auto detailing among other things, almost realizing that they would be disposable in a sense.

For the cost, they are assembled well enough for limited use. After gently cleaning them, the brush heads will soon loosen and eventually you'll lose your bristles.

If you're looking for brushes that will last for the long term, I suggest you find a Utrecht art supply store where you can find the absolute highest quality available and be prepared to spend a premium.

These brushes performed will enough for my current needs and I recommend them to others who have modest expectations.

I am not an artist, but my boyfriend is and he got these for Christmas from me. He had them on his Wish List. I can attest that he loves them and uses them whenever he paints. I also think whenever you get new anything---be it art supplies, books, makeup brushes---you are more motivated to use them. These motivated him.

I would say that they are perfect for anyone, student or professional who is looking for some great brushes. Turns out soft was too soft for my purposes. The product is great don't get me wrong. Just not ideal for epoxy sculpting I recommend the extra firm.

Ordered these not knowing how detailed or great the skulls would look. They are okay for what I need them for. But they are each no more than an inch and a half to two inches big. They do not come connected to a sheet of stencils, they are all seperate, so it makes it a little more difficult to use them, but all in all they look like they are pictured.

I haven't had a chance to actually use this set yet but I have taken out the parts and inspected them. Everything seems to be of good quality and other than being of the smaller scale which makes sense since it comes in a zippered pouch, everything is great. Would I like to have a bigger bench block? Yes! Would I like to have a bigger hammer? Of course! But if it came with those bigger items, this set wouldn't have been such a great compact set that you could pick up and take anywhere and it certainly would have been a lot heavier. Overall, a very good set and I have no complaints!
