Last Christmas my mom bought all 3 of us this sewing machine. Me (15) and my sisters (both 27) Since my sisters both are Beginner sewers, (from both lack of skill and lack of time regarding there family) this machine has been PERFECT for them. It was easy to teach them to use it, and after I got there tensions adjusted correctly, neither of them have had a problem with their machine since. But here is the thing, Even though I am 15, I am a HEAVY DUTY seamstress. I take great care of my machine, cleaning lint, oiling, keeping it covered, etc. But the projects I use my machine for are VERY frequent, and VERY intense. So after a years time, my machine is beginning to give up the ghost in comparison to my sisters machines.

My Auto-threader works fine, my spindle is also fine, as well as my throat plate and bobbin case; unlike some other reviews you may have read.

This machine is fabulous for beginner sewers, very tolerable and understandable user interface; and very flexible to a variety of projects.

BUT If you are like me, a heavy seamstress, and your dream is to work at Vogue like I,

I suggest investing in a machine that will last you a bit longer, because sometime within the year (around 18 months of age of my machine) I will be investing a new one that can tolerate me better.

I've been using this pen for several years now and swear by it for inking comics. The pen itself is durable and looks beautiful (it's at least as pretty in its design as some Pelikan fountain pens), and the ink is not only very solid black but also smearand bleed-proof on every paper I've tried so far.

One minor quibble with the pen is that I'd sometimes have too much flow of ink to the brush especially if a new cartridge had just been installed. But I learned to control and compensate for this in time. Even with this occasional issue, it still earns an easy five starts in my book.

The real magic is in what it does to the quality of my inking: The lines come alive in a way I can never achieve with a multiliner. I'd occasionally use a traditional brush and bottle of ink for even greater expressiveness, but that setup is a pain to carry, and after a while I switch back to the brush pen as a golden compromise between artistry and convenience.

Oh, and the ink cartridges last a surprisingly long time.

I am a professional freelance artist and carry this pen in a drawing kit around with me. This pen is amazing... dries quickly, makes deep dark lines, and is smear proof and waterproof when dry. I know a lot of comic book artists use it for inking their lines and I can see why. Great for calligraphy, cartooning, or just sketching. I HIGHLY recommend it. It uses fine bristles instead of a felt tip that will wear out easily. I know I will be using it on a regular basis to draw with.

The only thing of note is that when you just get the pen or are replacing the cartridge you have to press mighty hard on the end of the cartridge to hear the "pop" sound that signifies that the seal is broken and the ink is flowing. Once it flows it holds up well.

it's a great pen, and works as described. the only problem i have is that it says it comes with two refills which is misleading because the pen is empty. so really it comes with one refill and one starter cartridge. a small problem, but still annoying.

Pentel is a company I've grown to trust and for the price it's solid if not a top a tier brush pen. I've purchased many brush pens and for the most part a lot them have been glorified sharpies so that's always a bummer. Now let me be frank I love brushes and have yet to run into a brush pen that even comes close to the same feel and but this has been the closet.

Purchased this for my son for his seventh birthday. The lightbox is so cheap he could barely see to trace. There is only light on one side of the box so the other side is very shadowed. There is not was the suggested youngest age of four years old would be patient enough with it. However, the rest of the supplies are great. Lots of options for your vehicles. We use tape and hold the forms up to windows for him to trace and do what he likes or use his sisters larger MUCH better fashion lightbox. If you are an artsy family and have other good lightboxes like us or have lots of big windows this would be great just for everything that comes with it besides the lightbox. They should sell it all without the box and reduce the cost. Definitely not worth the price.

I ordered these tools after I saw a video on youtube with someone using them and they seemed to make sculpting so much easier. I was right they do and I will never go back to not using them again. I received them a week earlier than I was suppose to get them and started using them that day. Two other reviews I read at Amazon indicated this is not a good choice for Tattoos or for spraying thinner.

It is not right to give the product a 1-Star rating when the wrong airbrush was selected for the task to be completed.

This product is NOT meant for detail spraying (like Tattoos, T-Shirts, etc.) If that is what you want, buy a more expensive dual-action air brush. The review about spraying thinners said more pressure was required for spraying thinners and that perhaps opening the vent hole would help. If the vent hole is blocked in any way (gaskets, old paint, debris) this type of airbrush will not spray properly. This airbrush works by a venturi effect created by blowing air across the opening of the nozzle tip. The vacuum created draws the paint out of the jar for spraying. If the vent is blocked... no paint can be drawn out of the jar. Depending on the viscosity of the material I typically use air pressure ranging from 30 PSI to 50 PSI.

The Badger 250 has been around for decades. It is a simple, inexpensive single-action air brush. I have used it to spray solvents, lacquers, varnish, and acrylic urethane paint. It does not deliver a fine spray and it is not designed to. However, if you want fairly broad coverage of a few square inches at a time, this air brush works great. I have used this airbrush on small wood projects, automotive touch-up, and painting small metal parts. Again, it is NOT a detail painter but it is great for broader coverage.

The model 250 is easy to clean. Simply unscrew the jar, wipe it dry, fill with some solvent/thinner and spray through the pickup tube like it was paint. Remove the pickup tube and wipe its threads with solvent to clean them and you are pretty much done. Like all airbrushes, you must keep them clean for them to work properly.

While this airbrush is offered with things like adapters for spraying from cans of compressed air, that makes using the airbrush very expensive. Also available are adapters to connect the airbrush hose to air compressors. Those work great if you happen to own an air compressor. Another option is the adapter to connect the hose to "spare tires". Simply take your car to a place to fill up the spare tire and use the adapter to connect your air brush. There are still some places where filling tires is free so this is a very economical alternative to cans of compressed air.

Again, don't expect the Badger 250 to be a precision artist instrument. However, for broad paint coverage it works great and is easy to clean.

This is my first airbrushI don't need it for anything too incredibly fancy. Just some simple painting for crafts and some costumes. I admit the first time I was having MAJOR trouble with the thing, but it was because I forgot to run airbrush cleaner through before I started painting. Now I always run a small amount of cleaner through before hand, and of course always after. I use a mini compressor (one of the ones that looks like an elephant), and I use mainly Createx airbrush paints. It suits my needs!

This craft kit had everything I needed to begin ( well, except scissors ).The materials are all of good qulity.

HOWEVER, if you are new to needlecraft, as I am, the instructions are not for dummies. Take the time to look over the pages carefully and read everything BEFORE you start ! LOL !! Also, practice the stitches on scraps first.

Luckily, the reason I chose this kit is because it WAS made up of small, individual stockings. So...I am embroidering the pictures I don't really like first and if they come out a bit off I don't mind so much !

If you're experienced at cross stitch this is a great kit! It's nice to have something that you can work on in small bits ... I tend to work on cross stitch in meetings and so forth and I like only needing a small amount of material at any given time. Quality is good and the designs are very nice.

Some of the color names are a bit weird, and sorting the colors therefore took a little while. If you are new to cross stitch this may not be the place to start as the instructions are very terse. If you know what you're doing, this is plain sailing.

If you're new to cross-stich, this might not be the project to start on. But for everyone else, this is a great package. The patterns are terrific, with lots of blending of colours yes, that means one cross here and one cross there, which takes a bit longer but the result is worth it, and has the quality look in the end. So far I've made about 14 of the patterns and everyone I gave them to raved about them. They really look lovely if you package up a few together as a gift. I didn't follow the instructions to finish them with cardboard under the felt on the back. Instead I sewed the Aida fabric and the felt together, stuffed the stocking with a bit of craft stuffing, put in the loop to hang it from, and hand-stitched the top. They really make beautiful gifts.

I thought this was such a cute idea and ordered them right away. The instructions are the typical counted cross stitch and are easy to follow. The reason for the three star rating is because the instructions for putting them together doesn't make much sense and seems to cheapen them by instructing you to cut cardboard out and put it in the stocking with stuffing. I ended up sewing mine on my sewing machine to make little pillows.

Awesome set of ART supplies. Usually when you order a set of Anything there will always be something that seems to be a filler item, and yet with this SET it had nothing that I would classify as a filler, however there was one problem with the set It was missing (3) three coloured pencils what coloures????? Not sure. Still all In all I Would buy this set again. Even missing a pencil or (2) two, they and the water coloures have a beautiful hue and tone to them.
