I have purchased five of these machines to use with 4th thru 8th grade beginning sewing students. This machine has shown to be sturdy and all around easy to use with kids. I have sewn many different fabrics and used many different stitches with great success. It is very easy to wind a bobbin and thread. Over the last two years, no complaints at all.

I purchased this sewing machine for my daughter. It has a lot of features for the price. The amount of stitching options at the push of a button are amazing. The low price actually scared me. I thought we might be disappointed with what we received. Basically I purchased on trust because of the good reviews I'd read on this machine. For a sewer who is a beginner or beyond, this machine is one I would not hesitate to purchase again for the next daughter. I am pleased!

As a first timer this sewing machine the right fit for me. This is very user friendly and not complicated to operate. Replacing a zipper for my jacket is piece of cake. And did some alterations to my blue jeans, no sweat. Highly recommended to evryone.

Last Christmas my mom bought all 3 of us this sewing machine. Me (15) and my sisters (both 27) Since my sisters both are Beginner sewers, (from both lack of skill and lack of time regarding there family) this machine has been PERFECT for them. It was easy to teach them to use it, and after I got there tensions adjusted correctly, neither of them have had a problem with their machine since. But here is the thing, Even though I am 15, I am a HEAVY DUTY seamstress. I take great care of my machine, cleaning lint, oiling, keeping it covered, etc. But the projects I use my machine for are VERY frequent, and VERY intense. So after a years time, my machine is beginning to give up the ghost in comparison to my sisters machines.

My Auto-threader works fine, my spindle is also fine, as well as my throat plate and bobbin case; unlike some other reviews you may have read.

This machine is fabulous for beginner sewers, very tolerable and understandable user interface; and very flexible to a variety of projects.

BUT If you are like me, a heavy seamstress, and your dream is to work at Vogue like I,

I suggest investing in a machine that will last you a bit longer, because sometime within the year (around 18 months of age of my machine) I will be investing a new one that can tolerate me better.

I bought this as a birthday present for my wife... she loves it! Only problem is, I can't pull her away from it. It's been three weeks now, the kitchen is a disaster, the kids are starving... the bathroom has been out of toilet paper for days... but we all have beautiful new scarves!

I have purchased this item twice and I'm placing another order. I have not found this spray at my craft store. I have used it on acrylic craft painted surfaces, silk flowers, sea shells,plastic, wicker, ceramics, metal, glass, etc. I recently painted an old desk white with aqua drawers and used this spray as a top coat. The desk looks new and the white and blue just glows, many compliments. This spray gives a beautiful shimmer on all my craft projects. I compare it to buying a pearl paint like Martha Stewarts white pearl craft paint or Folk art metallic white.It can make any color look like pearl paint with just a light spray, can add another coat for more shimmer.. It has a pearly sheen like a sea shell, Not a glitter look and does not change the color that you spray it on. I have used it on sea shells and now they have a iridescent glow. I highly recommend this spray to add a pretty pearly sheen/glow on many surfaces. Try it, you'll love the look!

This stamp set comes with one sheet of raised stamps, and then the same sheet but not raised, if that makes sense. It's helpful for different projects because you can always use one or the other. The only problem I have is that the parts are so big, I don't use them very often, but I haven't worked with it too much yet.

I've been looking for these stamps for a while and when I found them on amazon they were reasonably priced and I went for it. Do not regret the purchase at all. The stamps are decent quality and will work perfectly for what I need them for. They are flexible and very detailed. There are care instructions inside. The only thing wrong with this was that it was opened when I received it, but that's really no big deal because the stamps were in perfect unused condition.

Of all the aluminum easels I was able to find on the market, this sounded like the best and I was right. Very well made and sturdy. Easy to adjust and store. We use it to hold a 3X4 foot whiteboard for keeping track of raffle numbers and it is perfect. I have a 2nd one I use to display a 2.5 X 3 foot sign for my car at shows. Great product for table top or stand alone displays.

I love these brushes for little jobs around the house. In the past, I would try to find thick, fairly stiff-bristled brushes of this size in the arts & crafts stores or at the hardware store...never successfully. These brushes are very durable, just the right size for little touch-up jobs, and inexpensive enough (under a dollar each) that if you use an oil-based paint or glue, you can throw them away instead of worrying about cleaning them (although they are so nice, it's hard to do). They are perfect for detailed painting next to window panes or difficult to remove hardware. They work well for trying to get glue into cracks or hard-to-reach areas. So far, after multiple uses, the bristles are staying in nicely, and are fine enough that they don't leave brush marks. And the wooden handles are so beautiful, I actually like holding them.

These pendants are simply gorgeous. The colors are all very strong and vary widely: I received a mustard yellow, bright fuschia, rich purple, deep blue, dark teal, and smoky grey and white in my package. There are a variety of sizes as well from large and pear-shamed to thin and spiky. The pendants are fascinating alone or set off by other beads, and the large hole at the very top makes them easy to either string or use with a bail. They can be a bit heavy though, so be sure to use a strong enough bail.

These pendants arrived very quickly and are even better looking than in the picture. It is always a pleasant surprise when a vendor exceeds your expectations. Gorgeous colors and tones and excellent quality. My daughter put strong sterling bales on them and strung them on suede cords as birthday gifts for her friends.

The thread ad was a little deceptive. They advertised as thread for Brother machines, which it isn't exactly. They never would give me a definite yes or no on the thread being made for Brother by Brother. I specifically asked them that and they said they had not had any negative responses from Brother owners. That wasn't what the ad stated. It stated thread for Brother machines. The best I could find out was, that it was made in India, but they wouldn't specifically say it was made by Brother for Brother machines. When I received it, at first I was a little disappointed, then I e-mailed them and they told me to give a few spools a try and if I wasn't completely satisfied with it, I could return it and they would refund my money. I thought that was reasonable and gave it a try and it stitched out beautifully. So I thanked them and kept the thread. The only problem was breakage, it seems a little weak, but using a large eyed embroidery needle took care of that.They told me to adjust my tensions on my machine, but I didn't need to touch the tensions by using the larger eyed embroidery needle. Overall, it's basically good thread, beautiful colors and shine to it.

I purchased this set for my 14 year old niece. She is extremely talented and primarily works with acrylics and sketch pencils. When she mentioned her interest in trying out watercolors, I ordered this set for her. She was beyond thrilled to receive it and immediately began using it. Some of the art she's created with this set is phenomenal. She loves the fact that it has a sketch easel attached to the box and its own carrying bag. When I asked her if the paint was easy to use, etc. she told me that it was really great and that she really liked them. I would encourage anyone that is starting out in watercolors to purchase this. It's of great quality and has endured a 14 year old's "abuse" of carrying it around everywhere she goes. Keep in mind the box is made of wood. Although it's wood, it is a little lower quality than a higher end set. In this range of artist sets, it is a wonderful product.

This set is fine as a gift for beginners....but the color assortment and the quality of these oil pastels are not the best. I feel like they are closer to crayons than oil pastels...they are softer than crayons, but not soft enough to be a higher quality pastel.
