The retractable measuring tape broke the day I got it after only 3 normal measurements. When I tried to retract it back, it would just lock up at the next spot (and I was doing it quickly). This happened several times all the way to the max length of the tape and that was it, permanently stuck all the way extended. Then it went into the trash where it belonged.

I originally intended to purchase just a retractable measuring tape, but once I saw the set, I figured two was better than one. Turns out that has been true! I used to have a loose tape, which I used often but kind of dreaded using because of having to roll it back up. Now I'm able to keep the retractable tape in my junk drawer for quick household measurements (it's smaller and takes up less room than a standard measuring tape). I now only use the loose tape for body measurements and sizing. I also have a new baby that I measure each month for the sake of recording in his baby book, and I find the retractable tape works well for capturing an accurate measurement of his wiggly and noncompliant body.

We have these push button, retractable tape measures on every desk in our business. I also carry one in a pocket as I often measure things when shopping. We prefer the brighter colored ones as they are easier to see than the dark blue. They are used every day; especially the millimeter and centimeter side. Just flip the unit over and the other side of the tape has inches or mm/cm. Both sides of the tape are printed with red on white. The 60 inch side has a typical 1/16", ⅛",¼", etc., measurement. The 150 centimeter side is printed with millimeter, 5 mm, cm, & every 10 cm is highlighted up to 150 cm. I've purchased only one that didn't work properly. It was yellow & came with the regular, foldable tape measure for only $1.49. However, the single, retractable tape measure can be bought in various colors for $1.97 in the sewing/fabrics department everyday at Wal___t. The foldable fiberglass tape we got was nice on the inch side. However, the mm/cm side was sectioned every other 10 centimeters in black blocks of thin, hard to see, white mm lines. But, the white sections of black print on white are much easier to see. Note that the photos of the foldable tape show different tapes. One is a stock photo; the other is the actual tape.

This is great! I like that it comes with both kinds of tape--one is great for weight, bust, etc. measurements and then the retractable one is excellent for random household measurements. A great, useful set at a great price.

I do not sew, but this combo of tapes worked for me. I was ordering a kilt and needed some measurements . It was more accurate than using a string and ruler.

I purchased this set of bamboo needles when I was unable to find my old aluminum ones. I figured for the price, I was not out that much...

I am so glad I bought them! These bamboo needles are wonderful to work with! They fit comfortably in the hand, and don't have that annoying "click" that the aluminum ones have. These also have a good grip on the yarn, which the aluminum ones lack. The yarn seems to stay put until you want it to move, and then moves quietly and easily to where you want it to go. The aluminum ones seemed to make me lose stitches easier. And these bamboo knitting needles have a "flex" to them so they bend a little when I pick up stitches, unlike the stiff aluminum ones. The price is fantastic, considering you get an entire set! The strength and durability of bamboo make this purchase a great buy! These should last for a good many years!

I bought this set with a gift card a friend gave me for my birthday. I was looking to replace my aluminum knitting needles with bamboo, as I can no longer use metal needles due to carpal tunnel (they weigh too much). At my vacation home, the knitting urge struck. I didn't want to buy needles one set at a time, since I already have most needles at home. I bought these so when the urge to knit struck, I'd be set. Since they're so inexpensive, I figured even if a couple weren't perfect, it would work out.

The details.

I've been knitting with bamboo and silk yarn. Silk catches easily and pulls easily, so, I need needles that don't catch. Of these 16 sets, 8 appear perfect. 5 needles (in 4 sizes) have a rough patch which make them unusable for knitting with silk, the rest probably are okay, but might catch on my fine silk yarn.

These are individually packaged as stitchberry premium bamboo in a box with all the sizes. The box was slightly damaged but the needles weren't. And my relatively small box of needles was sent in a relatively large box with lots of cushioning so the damage to the box was before it was packed, not from shipping. The needles were not damaged from shipment, just not perfectly smooth, to varying degrees.

I'm a beginning knitter and chose these needles based on their price and the positive reviews they'd received when I'd purchased them.

Right off the bat, I liked these needles more than the metal ones that came with the kit I'd ordered. They're light, smooth, and warm, almost seeming to mold to my hands before I'd finished knitting my first beginner scarf (though they didn't actually change shape!). They came packaged in pairs, making finding the correct set ever so much easier than digging through a bag of "sticks" looking for two of matching sizes.

The only negatives I have to add would be that they don't seem to have much of a point on them, especially the larger sizes, thus I found myself splitting the yarn fibers (if that's even the correct term) more often than seems necessary even for a novice. When I changed needles I didn't have the same problem, even on yarn I had previously mangled. The second concern I have with them is that the sizes are stamped in the wood in European sizes (mm) only and there's no ink to highlight the lettering. This makes the sizes difficult to find; when found, difficult to read; and when read, difficult to translate by beginners. I haven't done so yet, but I have plans to go through and uglify my needles with a magic-marker and write the sizes on the ends for future reference.

Overall though, the needles seem to be good needles at a great price for someone like me who is just getting started. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but until I'm sure I'm committed to the life of a knit-wit, I'm not willing to make the investment in them.

They're not the very nicest needles I've ever seen, but they're about on par with my Clover bamboo needles. No significant rough spots or hitches that I've found after using them pretty much exclusively to make all of my Christmas presents. It's a whole lot of needles for about the cost of what two sets will cost otherwise. I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

I just recently started acquiring a hoard of nestabilities dies, and this was I'm not sure which number added to my collection of them. This is one of my favorite shapes, because it has a lovely old fashioned appeal to it. It looks good layered, as a tag or even as a card front (so it does have many uses). It looks gorgeous embossed and it works very well in my Sizzix Big Shot machine. To be quite honest, I really feel these might be easier to use for people with the big shot or the grand calibur machine, because the embossing of these shapes does exert a lot of pressure on the plates (a lot of people have said they got their Cuttlebug C plates broken doing so). I have to add that for people using the big shot machine, I read the nestabilities sandwich instruction booklet for embossing that came with these and I almost snapped my plates and messed up my machine; on the guide it says to trifold a piece of cardstock, and for my machine that was way too much pressure. I have found that folding a piece of somewhat heavyweight cardstock in half does the job for me perfectly well. I did read however, that everyone's machine is slightly different so whatever takes me two sheets, might truly take someone 3-5.

Before my purchase here, I had the opportunity to try these pens at my local scrapbooking/stamping store. I fell in love with the pens! They are not like any other glitter pen I've used or owned before. The gitter is very fine and comes out easily and looks so pretty on my projects.

They don't come out really bold glittery. They are very soft. Also, Amazon has the best prices on these markers. I saved around $10.00 per set. And I did buy both sets A and B.

wow! i am a sucker for glitter and quality, and these pens did not disappoint!

i bought them to "transform" my roller skates (which are all white) and i can't wait to get started! the pens themselves can be a wee bit pigment-deprived, so i will probably use a certain color (red, for example), then put the corresponding color of glitter pen over it. i think this should be sparkle-rific.

no matter what these were to be used for, i would highly recommend them!

Thankfully, I bought only two of these overpriced pens (Gold and Clear) because both of them are awful. As opposed to Sakura Stardust glitter pens, the Copics are scratchy with bad ink flow. The Gold tone is a strange sort of 18K-type color, totally lacking in expected richness. The Clear one is truly clear because the mica concentration in it is very low. If you're looking for dazzle, these overhyped Copic pens won't deliver it. Normally, I use a combination of fine-nib markers: Copic Original, the excellent new Shinhan Touch Twin and Sakura Micron. Sakura Microns beat pricey Copic Multiners as well.

It worked beautifully, but we really didn't want to get sucked into the high prices of "middle of the mall sales", so we politely declined purchasing; I believe this specific kit was going for $49.95... When I found the same kit on Amazon for half the price, I purchased right away for a gift for my daughter's 13th birthday. I've been stamping for at least a year and finally bought Konad special polishes and the plates. I wanted a black and white and needed a new stamper, so I figured I could pay $6 more for 4 plates and an extra special polish. It was worth it, the picture shows green as the 3rd polish, but luckily it was black when I got it (yay, what was I going to do with green?). I've tried many other black and white polishes and Konad is by far the best. The only Konad polish I was disappointed in was the gold I got separately, and if I read the reviews like I usually do I would have not purchased it. This set is a basic must for stamping, and a steal, the set is normally $45 through Konad. You get a stamper + scraper, 4 plates, and 3 special polishes, and individually those cost $6+ each.

The fine tip is great for detailing. This is my second order of them I didn't finish the first pack but I wanted to make sure I had more on hand! They last for a long time. I use them to design my own plastic cellphone cases. As a tip to anyone wanting to do the same, cover it in clear nail polish when done because they do chip semi-easily. Nail Polish remover (acetone) is the easiest way to take it off. Dip a Q-tip in acetone, and it's like an eraser on a pencil.

This set is fine as a gift for beginners....but the color assortment and the quality of these oil pastels are not the best. I feel like they are closer to crayons than oil pastels...they are softer than crayons, but not soft enough to be a higher quality pastel. But, you get what you pay for, and it's a nice little carrying set for someone who wants to try their hand at it, and then later they can get nicer pastels.

This is a beautiful die set' however, it can be difficult to remove your paper from the die. The filigree edges tend to want to tear away. I had heard several 'ideas' about how to sort this out. I tried Talcum Powder and Wax Paper, but still had difficulty, mostly with the 2nd largest die. The solution was to rub a 'Bounce' dryer sheet over the top of the die (on the cutting edge) before running it through my machine (I have the Grand Calibur). Once cut, I carefully used a 'pokey' (ball-end) tool and quilling tool to punch through all the holes -with the dryer sheet being used, it came out quite easily.
