The box I received was poorly packaged and half destroyed. Many of the paint bottles are dented, dusty and scuffed. Additionally, I received only 8 different colors. In my package, there were 2 peaches, 2 greens, 2 oranges and 2 pink. Missing from the box are red, blue, turquoise and white. Missing two of the primary colors means that I can't even mix the paints I have to get the colors I'm missing.

I read through the other customer reviews before purchasing and this issue wasn't there. Based off the photo and description, I believed that I would be receiving 12 different colors.

I'm frustrated because this is not the quality I've grown to expect from Amazon.

My bad. I was thinking this was comparable to Crayola's tempera paint, which IS washable. The paint is great, nice colors, but we got a little on clothing and can't get it out completely. I'd still recommend this paint, just be sure your little one wears a smock.

My 1 year old son has really enjoyed these paints. What a great variety of vibrant colors. Perfect for finger painting. He gets the paint all over his hands, arms, face and hair and it washes right off. I will absolutely be purchasing another set when these run out.

Honest reviews on Prang Ready-to-Use Tempera Paint, 16-Oz., 12-Pack of Assorted

My ten year old daughter received an art easel (one of those with a roll of paper attached, and a white board on the other side) for Christmas from her grandparents. Within a couple of hours, she had gone through the paints that came with it. A trip to the dollar store and buying out the stock of watercolors they had was in order. Those were gone within 2 days. Obviously this painter was going to need a bigger supply. However, looking through the Hobby Lobby's, Wal Marts, and other craft stores, finding tempra paints was not that easy, plus if you could find any at all, they carried maybe one or two colors, 8 to 10 ounces (at even that was hard to find) and they wanted $4 or $5 for what they did have.

Not wanting to get bent at the register, I decided to look on Amazon to see what kind of options there were. Prang to the rescue! 12, 16-ounce bottles, a wide assortment of colors (so that means less mixing the primary's to MAKE the different colors) which was a thrill to my young Grant Wood wanna-be. And for the price? Translated to about $2.50 a bottle, compared to twice that for half as much.

She has used some of the paint, but clearly this is going to last her a while. With the summer soon upon us and nice weather in the Midwest, she is starting to focus more on the pool and other outdoor activities... but as soon as the weather is bad or cold again, I am sure she will be right back at the paints. I will come back and let you know how well the paints last over time, to give an indication of shelf life.

But this is a good buy for your little artist!

This is a great piced product. Just a hint for little ones...to make this paint washable just mix with a dab of dish soap.

Discount Tran PVA Adhesive Glue, 2-Ounce

Customer Ratings:

I bought this to patch a small hole on my canvas. So, the bottle size is more than enough for what I needed. The glue seems odorless and a bit tacky. I applied a thin layer over a small scrap canvas and applied the piece to the main canvas. After a month, it still looks good. The scrap hasn't detached or curled. Would definitely recommend it.

These are great for labeling jars and canisters. The chalk pen works well. I would like to get some larger labels for some of my larger canisters, but these are fine for small and medium ones.

Reviews of X-ACTO #4 Stencil Knife Set (X5204)

Customer Ratings:

This is one of the most "flimsyiest" pieces of X-acto I've every used. The blade continually slipped and would not stay in place even when cutting the finest of material. I guess you get what you pay for. I fessed up the money and purchased the high-end kit with the wooden case. We'll see about that. Would not recommend this product.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I purchased this for cutting both film and cardboard for stencils. The blade is about 3/4 inch above the shaft and is a couple mm front to back and seems thinner than a regular x-acto angled blade. When you press down to cut it bends and is too unstable to apply adequate pressure to cut through (it would only score for me as I was afraid to apply more pressure as it looked as though the blade might snap). In addition, it does not come with a cap! This is the first x-acto I've ever bought that didn't come with a cap. I presume they expect you to remove the blade and put it in the (thin, cheap plastic) case with the additional fresh blades. However, I'd rather not mix my fresh, new blades with old ones like that (but I suppose it doesn't matter since the knife doesn't cut well anyways).

I think if the blade were shorter perhaps only 1/2 an inch above the shaft it wouldn't wiggle and bend and I could apply more pressure to get it to cut through. However, the shaft does not allow the blade to go in deeper, so the only way to do that would be to snap/break the blade.

Disappointing don't waste your money, just get a regular x-acto.

I bought two of these, as my husband uses it for work, and my daughter uses it with her clay craft. They are both very happy with the usability of the knife. I'm glad they come with 5 extra blades, because I can't seem to find the blades by themselves.

great for fine detail when carving, cutting stencils, cleaning nails (be careful!). blades are easily re-honed. supply will last forever

The idea is great. The blades are very weak and break easily. I use mine for stencils. It works very well, but i go through lots of blades.

This art stamp collection includes 10 different styles of the word "PostCard." The individual stamps are clear & they cling well to lucite blocks making them very easy to position on a project. With the cost of postage going up again, I plan to send more postcards & less 1st class mail. Couldn't find them locally, so once again Amazon comes through.

This was purchased for a one time use, so the smaller paint containers worked fine. If you are looking to get more uses, tho, you want to look for larger containers of paint. I would guess that these containers would still be good for "several" uses, depending, of course, on how much paint you use for each application. Some colors will obviously get used more, so will get used up sooner.. But the kit should be good for at least 4 or 5 good faces.

Reviews of Magic Matter Disk Set-1/8", 1/4", 3/8"

Customer Ratings:

instructions tell you to adhere it to your mat paper first. it still slips off the edge of the photo from time to time. with today's cutters, it's faster to measure your rectangular/square photos, add double the mat edging you want and cut to size. this product is best suited for oddly shaped or sized photos. so, it definitely has a use, but it's utility depends on your needs.

My friends and I used these disks at a scrapbooking retreat a few weeks ago. We made a number of "shadow" backgrounds for our scrapbooking items. They were easy to use and won't warp or crack like plastic.

We placed a group order and look forward to receiving them so we each have our own to use at home.

As a scrapbooker I saw this on DIY Scrapbooking a while ago and thought it was a must have. For the $$ you are better off buying the plastic templates. These discs aren't that easy to use either.

Jean Buttons Kit 8 Sets Review

Got the buttons and tacked one of them on my jeans. Easily snaps to place with the given plastic tool and some hammer applications. Also, I received 2 extra buttons. Quite a pleasant surprise.

This is a piece of garbage. Was skeptical but when I saw 8 stars, I thought I'd give these a try. Save your money and go to a taylor. "Tool" is a cheap little piece of plastic that doesn't even hold small back of button in place. Then, you actually hammer the two sides of the button through the cloth of your jeans. Well, as you can image, its almost impossible to line the 2 sides of the button up perfectly and by the time your done, the buttons dented an still not attached.

Reviews of Bob Ross Value Dvd Package - Includes 3 Tv Series (Series 26,27

These Dvd's are really hard to come by at a price like this. Each series normally sells for approx. $45 new so if you do the math you are practically getting one series for free and if your looking for used (unless you luck out) I couldn't find them for a price comparable to this.
