Play-Doh Trash Tossin' Rowdy the Garbage Truck Review

Customer Ratings:

The Play Doh Diggin Rigs, while not necessarily designed for boys, help to give a gender balance to the Play Doh Prettiest Princess playsets. Not that one can *only* be played with by boys or girls, but they certainly have a targeted demographic. While the Play Doh Prettiest Princess has gained tremendous popularity the Diggin Rigs seem to be less popular. The Trash Tossin' Rowdy the Garbage Truck may help even the score.

Rowdy the Garbage Truck lifts the garbage into the back of the truck. In the back, as Rowdy rolls down the road it compressed and spits out a variety of garbage shapes (like bugs, fish, and other yucky things).

Notes-

Comes with Rowdy the Garbage Truck and four large cans of Play Doh Yellow, Blue, Purple/Lavender, and Green

Rowdy the Garbage Truck gobbles up Play Doh garbage and spits out trash. As the rear wheels turn it operates a rotating mold inside of Rowdy the Garbage Truck. You can see how it operates in the video portion of the review.

The cab of the garbage truck comes out to make the molds for the trash cans and waste bottles.

As Rowdy the Garbage Truck rolls the garbage is literally tossed out of the bottom. Although a little is needed because some of the garbage can be "tossed" several feet. I don't know about you, but for us flying Play Doh is a recipe for a mess. Just keep that in mind as you play with it on a mat or an area that a little Play Doh will not be a concern.

Comes with a worm extruder you can make plenty of worms for your trash.

A small plastic shovel is included for scooping up the Play Doh trash

Appropriate for children ages 2 and up

Other than the Play Doh being projected out of the back of the garbage truck clean-up is pretty easy

No batteries are needed.

Final Verdict The Play Doh trash Tossin' Rowdy the Garbage Truck is a fun twist on playing with Play Doh. Parents may cringe a bit as they see the Play Doh garbage projected out of the end of the truck, but in our opinion it is still one of the better Play Doh toys. Recommended... especially if you have a child who enjoys garbage trucks.

My 2 1/2 year old loves garbage trucks and play doh so this was a perfect fit! He loves stuffing the play doh in the truck and then watching it leave trash behind as he drives it around. I would highly recommend this toy but beware that it can be messy especially if any play doh gets left behind.

I bought this as an impulse buy today. Best impulse buy in a long long time. My 3 year old played with it for about 3 hours, stopped for about an hour and went back for about two hours. There are so many things to do with it. Hubby played with it for about a half an hour by himself after the little one went to bed. This toy is awesome.

Honest reviews on Play-Doh Trash Tossin' Rowdy the Garbage Truck

Okay, I first got this toy and loved it. Worked great. Then the day after I gave it to my son for his birthday, it seemed to have broken. The wheels would not turn the rollers inside that shoot out garbage from the bottom of the truck. What I didn't know is that you need to close the top of the garbage truck before the rollers will engage with the wheels. This is probably a safety feature. Anyway, one of the kids had filled the top up with so much Play-Doh that the lid could not close, so the rollers did not engage, leading me to believe that the toy had broken when it had not.

Another thing that I did not realize is that the book mold that makes the trash that goes into the dumpster is part of the truck itself, the cab of the truck. It slides in and out. Nowhere in the demonstration video or in the papers that came with the truck was this information explicitly given. So at first I thought this meant that we didn't have a book mold at all. Upon more careful inspection of the video and the toy, we found that it was included and that it was, handily (although rather secretly), part of the truck, meaning you can store it there and it won't get lost.

Anyway, we haven't had the toy for very long, but our three-year-old likes it and it seems to work, so for now it's great.

These were a gift, what really sold me was the large size of the tubes. My retired mother is constantly running out of paint, especially white and it's nice to be able to resupply her hobby. Her first words we're where did you find these big sized tubes, I hope you didn't spend too much. Love that amazon hides the price on gifts. Once she started using the paint she loved the"flow" and the opacity.

Great set of scissors. The smaller ones have an extra sharp point useful for working on seams, hems, or any tight space, and my sister can even cut hair with them!

Bought these new Fiskars as my old pair kept getting lost. I have had the originals over 20 years for sure. So, I knew this was my brand, the cheap ones cut paper fine, but Fiskars cut what you want and the way you want it. I keep these tucked in a private drawer so my grandkids can't find them. This set is perfect and will outlive me, will have to put that in my will and leave them to a special person.

Discount Tran PVA Adhesive Glue, 2-Ounce

Customer Ratings:

I bought this to patch a small hole on my canvas. So, the bottle size is more than enough for what I needed. The glue seems odorless and a bit tacky. I applied a thin layer over a small scrap canvas and applied the piece to the main canvas. After a month, it still looks good. The scrap hasn't detached or curled. Would definitely recommend it.

Best Martin Berkeley Drafting-Art 4-Piece Combo Set, Black with White Deals

Preventing the hassle to buy 3 different items, all of them I needed to get started, I bought this combo set. Received it pretty fast and overall I am pleased with it. Price/Quality is more than fair and it does what it is supposed to do. All parts came in 1 box and therefore packed dense. The biggest part, the table top had some damage serious enough to give their Customer Service a call.

I must say that martin Berkeley scores a 5 star here as without winking they send me a new top right away. Within 2 days FedEx delivered it at my door.

First off, you ARE NOT getting what's in the picture. I can guarantee that, nor are you getting what's in the product description. Thinking I was ordering a "Black base, Cherrywood color Top" and the "most popular Drafting height chair" I instead got a head-ache inducing gray-white top and a plastic, cushionless, hard-as-nails stool.

Someone definitely messed something up, obviously Amazon for posting the wrong product and possibly Martin Universal Design for sending me the wrong stuff, I'm not sure. Either way I have to wait longer to get what I need. I feel like Amazon has let me down, and I need to be more cautious about buying from them.

Martin Universal Design was fantastic for customer service, but I had to contact them over the phone since they never returned my email. They didn't blink an eye when I told them I got the tabletop I wasn't expecting and fixed it right away, but I didn't realize the chair was different until after. I may still get it exchanged.

Either way, I'm highly disappointed in Amazon. I suggest finding this on another site even if you have to pay a little more, at least you won't be surprised and have to wait a few extra weeks for the item you really want.

I couldn't settle on a color to try with my printmaking students, so I bought this assortment instead. Nice colors, even coverage with a brayer. We did foam tray prints and monoprints using tin foil and a Q-tip and both printmaking techniques worked well with these inks. Not permanent, but they do clean up well. I'll buy the Speedball inks again.

Badger Air-Brush Co R2S Renegade Spirit Side Feed Airbrush Review

List Price: $170.00

I moved to this brush from a Badger 150. I'm very happy with the quality of this airbrush. The fine lines are very good, and the airbrush hose adapter is a nice inclusion. I'm not sure why they included 2 tips; as one of them leaves the needletip completely exposed and is a good way to get a bent needle. You have a choice of cup or bottle and either can be switched to either side and in any orientation. When I was painting a large gaming mat this was a godsend for painting straight down.

Make sure you thin your paints properly; this brush won't hesitate to clog on you if you don't.

Be careful when cleaning this: the nozzle has a tiny tip that's very easy to accidentally wash down a sink even with a strainer in the drain. Replacements can be had on Amazon for about $7 apiece.

All in all, after using this airbrush for about 6 months I'm very happy with it.

The quality of the airbrush internals is questionable judging from the overall appearance of the airbrush, parts and case. I guess I got lucky and bought an airbrush put together by someone who was bored with their job.

Works better than it looks! I've been using it for a couple of days now and I'm impressed! Badger could do something about their quality control for the better, but actually working with the airbrush is OK. Overall, I'm pleased with the performance.

Buy Copic Markers 12-Piece Neutral Gray Set

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $83.88
Sale Price: $70.41
Today's Bonus: 16% Off

I have bought both the Warm and Cool grey sets of Copic markers and I really couldn't be more happy with them. If you are looking to produce beautiful tonal drawings, these will get the job done and then some. Your only limitations will really be your own abilities which I guarantee will grow if you stick with the Copics.

That being said I just wanted to say a few words on the price and the markers themselves. It's easy to look at a set of Copic markers and think to yourself "Why would I pay so much for something I'm going to throw out in just a few months?" And with any other brand of marker, you'd be correct in feeling a little ripped off. But Copics are different; and not just because they are quality markers, because in all honesty so are Prismacolors or most other high end brand of markers. But the difference is that any Copic marker you buy can be refilled once it goes dry and all the nibs and brush heads can be replaced once they are worn out. Because of this, buying a set of Copic markers is more like buying a set of paint brushes rather than a set of pencils, pastels or markers for that matter.

If you do decide to buy this set you are looking at a high up front cost, not only for the markers but also the refill ink for each marker. However, once you've made the investment it's pretty cheap to keep your markers going. Each refill bottle will fill a Copic marker 7-10 times, making it somewhere between 50 cents to a dollar per refill. So, in the long term it becomes well worth the initial price, especially when you consider one Prismacolor marker costs somewhere between 4-6 dollars to replace.

These markers really are an investment; not just as far as money goes but in yourself as well. So, if you can't see yourself using them regularly a couple years down the road then they might not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you are an artist who is looking for a set of tools that are going to last and produce quality work, I can tell that your money is being well spent.

You can't beat Bucilla for a great product with clear instructions. I have used Bucilla for many years. it is encouraging that their quality continues to be high.

Bucilla Stockings always please. If an individual follows the step by step directions, the end product looks very professional. They take about a month for me to make but I go at it very slowly. I usually do the sequin work and embroidery work at the beginning in a day or two then assemble it according to Bucilla's step by step directions. I have made many of these over the years. I find that the "extra" beads and sequins and extra thread are not as generous as Bucilla used to be. Fortunately, if I run short of something, I have extras from stockings made in the past. If a person is careful, I don't think there will be a shortage of materials.

You can always rely on Bucilla kits to be easy and complete. I only buy Bucilla. I made my first Christmas Stocking in 1968 and have made them for my children, their spouses and children. This one was for my new grandson-in-law and next year I will be making one for a first great-grandchild. I also have made many other Christmas items.

I bought this to make my tutu dresses on. It didn't work for my purposes. It will hold clothing up as long as you have straps to hold it up. There is no back so its just a front. It would have worked better if it had a back so that it can hold up something strapless otherwise it just falls right off.

These two forms work beautifully to photograph my children's line of clothing. Having the two sizes is especially helpful to me.

Fons and Porter Triangle Trimmers, 1/2-Square Inch by 1/4-Square Reviews

I have used this many many times while making my quilt blocks. It is extremely helpful in matching up many pieces to sew together and makes it so much easier to get that quarter inch seam allowance. As any quilter (beginner or advanced or anywhere in between) will tell you accuracy in stitching makes the quilt blocks go together so much easier!
