Bought to carve rubber stamps. I'm a beginner. This tool is great to get started and see what styles work for me. It's comfortable for my hand and I'm able to get replacement blades w ease. I live in a hi humid area I highly recommend you leave a piece if chalk in the handle w blades as they tarnish. It doesn't affect the cut but thought you'd want to know. Take care.

This Halloween, I didn't want to carve my pumpkins in the traditional sense (cutting out holes in the pumpkin). I wanted to do more than that and the Speedball fit the bill perfectly. Sure, it's meant for carving stamps, but the principle is the same. It goes through the thick skin easily and requires little effort.

I was able to do a full face carving of Walter White (from Breaking Bad) in about two hours with this product. I was really impressed the results.

I wish they made the cutting tips out of stainless steel. That would really help cut down on the rusting.

Also, the collet is a bit difficult to use. The cutting tips tend to get stuck when unscrewing them.

We purchased this so we could remove some of the rind on our pumpkins but leave some behind so it would glow. Worked like a charm! The different blade options came in handy with some of the more intricate parts of our design.

We also like the storage in the handle and the fact that we could throw it in the dishwasher and it came out like new. This is a great little tool.

I have been looking for a good price on bow shackles to make my 550 bracelets. I have had no luck finding them in small lots (1-10, I'm not selling just making for personal use) for less than ~$2/ea. Not even the ugly, scratchy galvanized ones. I ran across this lot with the adjusters and was really happy to see the price. $2.20/ea for stainless shackles with adjusters is roughly half the price I've been seeing. I jumped on the deal assuming it was another "amazon undercutting price" that would go away in a couple of minutes. Seems that wasn't the case, still happy I jumped. I received my shackles in less than 48 hours from ordering them. They came packaged very nicely, all together in a resealable (think hardware store blister packaging not ziploc) baggie and good sturdy cardboard box around them, way better than needed. The free cable tie is a nice little bonus. I know it's just a silly cheap strip of Velcro with advertising on it but I kinda have of thing for them so I was happy to get it.

The bows are nice (even if austenitic ... i.e.non-magnetic) stainless steel and worth this price without the adjusters. My only "complaint" (I quote because I'm not really a complaining or concerned) is that the adjusters are not also stainless steel. There is a "seam" all the way around (bisecting the holes) in the "chrome" on them. I decided to sacrifice one (figured I could always just paint it black) and filed away one seam between two holes. The coating filed off VERY easily and reveals a "light copper" color metal underneath. It's not heavy enough to be copper or steel, but heavier than aluminum. Without getting silly on testing for no real good reason I'm going to say it's bronze of some type (copper/zinc alloy). It's smells/tastes of copper, and when compared to a freshly filed penny (to get through the 100% copper coating) it's nearly the same color. I wouldn't think it's more than 3% (U.S. Pennys are 2.5%) copper at most.

The metal is relatively soft, not nearly soft enough to deform or bend from the intended use, probably not even if you hung from them, but compared to my file extremely soft, it left some pretty good gouges. I suggest trying some higher grit sandpaper instead of a file if you decide to clean your off.

They look great, but difficult to put on alone. It's a lot easier if you have someone to help when putting on your paracord bracelet or watch band. Doing it alone, you only have one hand.

I am a visual artist who has been putting most of my work on paper for more than a decade, using felt-tips, watercolor and gel pen. Recently I began painting with acrylic again. I read up on what artists are using now with their acrylics and found many to being using mediums exclusively---no water. I found this glazing medium by Folk Art to be a good medium to use---though I will admit to still using a little water with it. It prolongs the drying time by a few minutes---if you are a blender, this is a plus.. I get very nice glazing effects with minimal effort. I don't think you can find a better product for craftwork or artwork for the money.

Product works very well. We used as a glaze for Paperclay ornaments and it put a really good layer on them before applying the paint. The only criticism that I have is that of the two bottles I ordered, two lids were loose and product did spill into the box onto other items. Thankfully the items were not ruined and could be wiped off but how much of the glaze was wasted?

This was a good set of tools for a ceramics class. I am still using the product until my class is over in December 2013. Nothing has broken yet and the knife tool comes in handy plus it was cheaper than the one at my school.

The wooden tools' edges are not smooth and pure. (After checking them, I found a piece of wood stuck in my hand.)

Overall this is a good deal if you are used to purchasing powders for 4 bucks per color. These are small containers and many of the colors don't come out as brilliant as I would have liked. The red melts so dark it almost looks black. All that being said there are a few powders like copper and gold which look absolutely brilliant. As long as you expect a bit of a mish mosh it is totally worth the money.

These are okay but only 'clear' has the colour written on it, so with the others its take a guess. Obviously some you know but some are very close to each other & WHY wouldn't you put the colour on them????

My mother taught me to embroider when I was in 2nd grade. We used these stamps. The old embroidery work is long gone but I have found some of the same patterns, bought them and now I am doing the embroidery work all over again. I love these patterns and they are reusable. ...but having never received mine, I can't tell you firsthand whether it's one to purchase or one to pass on. I don't want to penalize the product rating just because I never received mine I also don't want anyone else to stumble across the same unfair practices. Surprising, actually I buy quite a bit from Amazon and this is the first item I ever had an issue with that wasn't resolved incredibly quickly.

I may try to find one locally, as the brush does seem to be a good deal. My interest is whether the bristles fall out easily so if I had received this brush, you would be reading a review detailing whether the bristles stay in the brush (or come off on your project), how sturdy the ferrule is, and how well this brush fits the hand (the comfort level). Since I didn't receive it, you're instead reading a review about how crummy it is to pay for something and wait for it to arrive, only to be disappointed when it isn't included in your order.

I bought this kit because my other airbrush quit working, the anthem is a great airbrush does very well with the paint I use which is mostly acrylics, it's very simple to strip and clean, and parts are relatively inexpensive. The 2 downsides I found were the cut out rested right on my hand and impeded the needle movement but this was easily fixed bu turning the cutout till its horizontal. The other down side for me is the tip of the needle being exposed, I pricked myself pretty good a few times but I got used to it, though if your not carful you can easily bend or break the needle tip, over all this is a great kit, made better by the air hose and paint jars. I highly recommend this
