This is my first time crocheting with an acrylic set and there is a huge difference between the acrylics and aluminum hooks. The acrylics tend to "stick" between stitches, but no so much that it makes the task more difficult. I simply just run my fingers through my Rusk shine hair product when needed. Overall, I am pleased with this product; crochet hooks are very expensive when buying in-store.

I used several of these hooks. They work very well with thick yarn. I made several cowls & they came out nice. The right

hook makes a difference when crocheting. A bigger hook is more comfortable & does a better job when using thick yarn.

And pretty colors also!! I would recommend this product.

I've loved this pattern of toggles but never saw them in anything except silver plated. these are so beautiful, they almost act as a centerpiece of the necklace and make it so much easier to put on and take off, esp if you're by yourself. their price was ok, but on the whole, the aesthetics of it make up for the slight price bump. really makes any necklace or bracelet, giving it a classy finishing touch.

I made the mistake the first time to use this in my house. I knew it required some ventilation so I worked by the window with the fans no. I didn't expect it to be THAT stinky. Hard to describe the smell but it lingers in the room/house for DAYS. The pieces came out clear. However, I learned that if you do it in layers and you have color in your last layer, be very careful. The pieces will shrink a bit in the mold while while curing. If you are not careful, your last layer may cover the first few layers if you move the mold or wait too long to pour the layers (and it runs down the side of the mold). The second time I used it, I must have used too much catalyst because the piece got EXTREMELY hot and cracked the crack ruined the embedded piece (and I could not take it out). I had set up the mold outside in 90+ degree heat. I followed the number of drops from the back of the can but should have reduced it based on the outside temp.

The Easy Cast Epoxy resin is so much easier for me to handle. I just have to make sure to use equal amounts and stir set amount of time. Only sad thing is you can't do deep layers with Epoxy you have to wait for one day for the layer to cure before pouring the next one.

I'll be honest; I didn't know what I was buying. It was hard to form a picture of these pens made for stamps. The markers are quite long and there is a brush-on tip and a fine drawing tip. A nice flow of color comes out of them. This set is called Landscape and each color is subtle and earthy. I wouldn't pick these colors individually but they really work as a team. I illustrate (doodle) on cards and I can honestly say that these paint pens have taken me in new directions. When you concentrate on the colors, it's very inspiring. I am thrilled with these pens to say the least. They are a pleasure to use and I would love to own 5 or 6 sets of Le Plume II by Uchida.

My mother taught me to embroider when I was in 2nd grade. We used these stamps. The old embroidery work is long gone but I have found some of the same patterns, bought them and now I am doing the embroidery work all over again. I love these patterns and they are reusable. These were okay. Like someone else mentioned, they're made from cardstock. I was hoping they were made from plastic. I also do not think these will last long and having to pop out all the stencil perforations yourself was tedious since you have to be so careful with the cardboard or you rip it easily. Luckily I don't need these for a lot of things. Will probably be looking for a sturdier stencil that I can use with paints and sprays in the future.

The material that is used is very cheap and tears very easily. I was very disappointed with this product and will not be buying this type of stencils again. I thought because it carries the Martha Stewart name they would be of a better quality.

These look like they'll work okay for what I'll be using them for, but I don't expect them to last very long. They are not made from a durable material. They aren't plastic. They aren't even cardboard. They're like thin card stock paper. I guess as long as you're careful they're okay. It's going to be a pain to finish poking all the letters out of each stencil as well. I definitely wish there had been more reviews when I bought these so that this would have been clarified.

It shipped and arrive quickly, so that was good. But when I opened it, it was missing the letters B, C, D & F. It also had duplicates of letters that are rarely used. I guess that's how they made up for the missing letters. Overall, I'm not very happy with this company.

We use the markers a lot at my restaurant. They are great for chalkboard vinyl sheets but they really don't wash off of chalkboard painted items so beware. The colors are vibrant and show up well, although this set is a bit darker then the neon colors but the shimmer catches the light nicely. When we use them on chalkboard painted items they are pretty much permanent and we have to repaint. You can get most of it off but there is always some left and never completely comes off no matter what we try to clean it with. With the chalkboard vinyl sheeting however it wipes off very easily as long as you don't leave the paint on it too long. We use this for things we rewrite many times a day.

I did shake well but when I tried to erase with just water and cloth, it all wouldn't come off my chalkboard. The pens were even stored horizontally. i was so nervous I ruined my huge chalkboard. I ended up using soft scrub to remove the rest. I did use chalkink again shaking vigorously for an extra long time and it removed easily then.

These chalk markers work great ! We used them to do all sorts of decorating at Christmas. The tip on a few of them were not even, making the marker look scratchy when using the wide side of the chisel tip, otherwise I would have given a 5th star on the review

These chalk markers are totally cool. They line they write is very bold and solid, drys very quickly, and doesn't smudge or come off like chalk. Also, you can write virtually anywhere with these.

I wanted to begin water-coloring, and just checking the prices at the local art store made me almost reconsider. I got this as a cheap alternative and, boy, is it ever a cheap alternative.

The brushes are terrible. If you're going to get serious about painting, just invest in new brushes. I got some starter brushes at the store for $10, and they were significantly better than the brushes in this kit.

The paints are fine for a beginner. Some are more watery than others, some are thicker than others, a few were obviously mislabeled (red is blue?) but for a beginner like me they seemed fine. I was able to paint with them, and that was the important part.

Ditch the pad. It's too small. I got a small pad at the art store for $5, and that was fine.

The instructions are...well, just look up how to watercolor on the internet. Much better.

There's a few slightly useful plastic tools.

The box I received didn't close on its own and eventually, literally, fell apart one day. I just put the paints in some other box and didn't worry about it too much.

To sum up: this would be a great set for a child or someone who is not sure if they'd be interested in painting. Otherwise, just fork over some money for a slightly better set at an art shop.

I bought this for my Niece I wouldn't buy this for adults but for little kids I think it is great and a will hopefully get them interested in new and different things like painting and later hopefully music. this product arrived on time as well and she was very excited when it came in its own case.

The first time I bought a 48 full pan set from this brand, after that I order this set for color replacements. I must tell you that the quality of this watercolors is outstanding.

Yust one drop of water and you will get an intense color very rich on pigments.

You also have that creamy feeling that gives you the honey and the arabic gum.

I will highly recomend this watercolors, and I have try lots of good quality brands.

I bought this to tub dye a pair of jeans a very dark blue color. Needless to say, this was pretty much the best option I could have chose. Procion dyes are not a quick deal, however. But dyeing clothes in general is a fairly labor-intensive process.

Unlike the grocery store brands, like Rit, you can't dye in the washing machine. These dyes require soda ash to fixate the pigments into the fibers of the fabrics. But, the results are much, much better. These dyes are also very colorfast. I can wash the jeans that I've used these dyes on, (which are almost black), with the rest of my clothes without worrying about staining everything else I put in with them.

Overall, the quality of these dyes can't really be beat. I have found yet another new product to be a fan of!

I've never tie-dyed before, but with the instructions on the labels that was not an issue for me. The dyes were vibrant and could overlap for a variety of colors. I used this to make t-shirts and everyone was really happy with how they turned out.

My advice is to use less dye than they have written on the instructions. The color is very dark and bold if you follow the instructionsI would have liked it better to use 1/3rd less dye in the ratio of dye to water. I wanted colors that were a bit more soft and pleasant. The turquoise is so dark if you use the ratio written on the instructionsif you want a nice aqua color then use less dye.

This kit made plenty of shirts for my daughter's birthday party. Each teaspoon makes four ounces and we already had the bottles from other kits, so we got about 4-6 4 ounce bottles from each color. We tye-dyed about 8 shirts and 8 pillowcases and had about four bottles left over. Jacquard is a great product and if you follow the direction on the website (non are included) you get a great result. I soaked the t-shirts in 3 gallons of water to fit them all in one time, but the soda ash was only for two gallons, one cup per gallon, so our shirts were not as bright as some I have done in the past, but still looked great. The colors are very vibrant. I would definitely recommend this kit.
