I'm being asked to rate this as a toy; not sure why. So as a toy I rated it 5 stars. Now for the real review: I thought the oil paint colors included would be the basic ones since they are not listed in the description. Upon receipt I found the three NOT included were white, black, and blue, three I absolutely require. So be aware of what you are receiving before ordering. The six colors included are: Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Cadmium Red Deep Hue, French Ultramarine (purple), Viridian Hue (light green), Yellow Ochre, and Burnt Umbre (brown). I've since ordered paints that included the primary colors everyone uses. The rest of the set is as expected--plastic palette, 3 canvas boards, wood easel, etc, as pictured. Good (almost) basic set for the price.

This set does not include everything you need to try oil painting as it may suggest. First, the color white is not included which means that you basically are only able to paint with super bright colors or colors mixed with black. You neither will be able to prepare the canvas as supposed to w/a white underlying paint. Second, it does not include cleaners for the brushes. You will not be able to get oilpaint out of brushes or even from your hand with soap; you will need turpentine. Third and last, the color from the brush shaft peeled off after the first 5 min. So, all in all not a complete set with not so good quality.

These have good color but they do not flow well. They are quite sticky and the ink is too thick. I ended up giving these to some neighbor children and they enjoy them but for the finer artwork I do these just don't work.

This Valentine's Day glitter marker set by Martha Stewart is excellent. The liquid flows very smoothly. Like all of M. Stewart's markers, you have to push down several times to start them. That's no problem and they get going pretty quickly. The colors in this set are very pretty too. Stores never seem to have all of Ms. Stewart's products and the glitter markers are one of the most limited. I was so glad to find these on Amazon when I was making Valentines this year. These markers are a great addition to your stash if you make cards or scrapbook. You'll like them very much if you choose to purchase them.

I made the mistake the first time to use this in my house. I knew it required some ventilation so I worked by the window with the fans no. I didn't expect it to be THAT stinky. Hard to describe the smell but it lingers in the room/house for DAYS. The pieces came out clear. However, I learned that if you do it in layers and you have color in your last layer, be very careful. The pieces will shrink a bit in the mold while while curing. If you are not careful, your last layer may cover the first few layers if you move the mold or wait too long to pour the layers (and it runs down the side of the mold). The second time I used it, I must have used too much catalyst because the piece got EXTREMELY hot and cracked the crack ruined the embedded piece (and I could not take it out). I had set up the mold outside in 90+ degree heat. I followed the number of drops from the back of the can but should have reduced it based on the outside temp.

The Easy Cast Epoxy resin is so much easier for me to handle. I just have to make sure to use equal amounts and stir set amount of time. Only sad thing is you can't do deep layers with Epoxy you have to wait for one day for the layer to cure before pouring the next one.

Spaces too small for 62 year old eyes. Lines and numbers are very light and hard to read. I use a magnifying glass to paint. My next paint by numbers will have to have bigger spaces and be easier to read. However I do enjoy to continue working on it but cannot work on it for long periods. Completed the painting and I like the results.

I received this painting as a Christmas gift. I am enjoying the journey of seeing it come to life. I do recommend that you have at least some basic knowledge of painting. Also don't be afraid to make it your "own" by blending and shading. Your painting does not have to look exactly like the one on the box. I purchased a separate set of brushes to do the fine detailing. The one brush that comes with the kit is very basic. Shading brushes can also be purchased separately as well as a palette for blending colors which is required for several of the details.

UPDATE: I completed this painting and it is STUNNING! I am incredibly pleased and surprised. I bought a mat and frame with glass and have it hanging in my living room. YES, it is that beautiful. I highly recommend this painting.

This paint by number is beautiful. The water in the painting looks real, and the wolves look 3D. It took me a long time to complete, but it's worth it. This is the 4th paint by number that I have done from Dimensions. I am 99.9% finished, with just a few things to do on the birds. It took a long time, but it's coming out really nice. One of the things I have noticed is that, on all the paint by numbers I have done, with the lighter colored paint, the numbers and lines always show through. This means you have to go back, sometimes more than once, to cover both the numbers and the lines. I am going to have to go back and re-do much of the birds, since the yellow, light blue and orange shades do not cover the numbers on the board or the lines. Be advised, that makes twice and sometimes three times as much work. That being said, it came out really nicely and it will be a nice addition to my other three completed paintings. As I have said in my other reviews, make sure you have several teeny tiny brushes, as there a lot of very small spaces on this.

I got this easel because I am taking acrylic painting classes and i wanted something lightweight and easy to carry. In the classes, i am generally are working on 9x12 canvas boards, or maybe 11x14 max, so this is a great size for those boards. I really only cared about the easel, but this one has the handle and little drawer, and came with the wood palette, and even a pack of three brushes...and i got it for a ridiculously low price compared to what I've seen it for since here and on other sites. It is unfinished, but smooth, soft pine, and the hinges and fasteners are small and soft metal. But it has done me well for 7-8 classes so far and it's still in great condition. I don't carry anything in it except maybe some parchment paper, and I generally have it in a rolling bag with the rest of my art supplies. I would recommend waiting for it to go on sale (@$20.00 max) and then if you take care of it, i think it will last a long time and is well worth it.

Markers were received in good shape and were sealed tight. I did not use the markers for serveral months after receipt of the product. When I began to use the markers they were dried out! I was unable to use the markers for any Christmas projects. I wonder if I received a product that had been sitting in a warehouse for years. I believe this product should have a date on every package that shows the date product was made or a "Best if Used By Date".

Prismacolor is one of the best product I have ever used. There color pencils are amazing and there markers are even better. There some colors that seemed a little useless. I feel like I should have purchased a bigger set. I would have also preferred a thinner tip on the fine point of the marker. Aside from that the colors look great with pen and ink drawings. Just be careful about using fine tip markers because this product has a thick marker that bleeds.

The picture is not what I received and also when I purchased the markers the picture was the same but the item said Copic markers which is what I really wanted since I already have prismacolor markers. I bought this wreath along with four stockings. I started this wreath about two weeks ago. I have been doing it off and on, and I have to say I enjoy working with this. So far it looks beautiful. As ling as you have at least a BASIC knowledge of how to sew, it is easy. I am a beginner myself and was initially intimidated by the project but I have found it to be easy to work with and relaxing. My recommendation for this project and the other bucilla products is this. Use cotton balls for the small stuffed figures. Use the fluff for the wreath. Don't over stuff it. Follow the directions but if you know what you are doing, do what is easier for you. I found that ALL the little pieces are easier assembled by sewing/decorating/Embordered all the items on first and then stuffing and sewing them together, but that just worked for me. If you have any doubts, follow the directions.. overall, this is a wonderful item and look forward to starting my stockings..

I am happy to report that the Brother Circular Attachment bundle fits my Brother SE400! The Brother authorized dealer in my area told me that the circular attachment would not fit and I would have to purchase a more expensive model to use it. I decided to purchase the attachment and fit it to the machine anyway. I have not yet practiced with the attachment, but I am certain that it fits and will work well. The Brother Website nor the Brother Circular Attachment box does not list the SE400. The price saving is very good and the shipping was excellent and quick. Happy Sewing!

At the Saturday block of the month meeting, the instructor showed us the Pfaff circular attachment and demo'ed it. It was expensive, like the Pfaffs. I came home and looked to see if Brother had one. They did, but did not list my SE 400, but when I looked on Amazon, another lady had the same machine, had bought the attachment and said it worked, so I ordered one. Ever so glad she mentioned her machine. With this new circular attachment, I can see doing applique and embroidery on the quilt tops to spice up the work.
