This is my first set of watercolor paints aside from Crayola-supermarket-paints. I love them. I do wish the variety of colors were more varied but I assume practice in mixing will make this a non issue. My only complaint is that the box is not sealable and so moving these paints from one place to another is always a pain and requires constant re-organizing.

I really wanted to leave a review about this product. I bought a few rolls of chalkboard contact paper, also from Amazon. I was uncertain if I could use liquid chalk on such a surface given the mixed reviews about chalkboards getting damaged by this product. The contact paper is of course not the same as an actual chalkboard or a surface painted with chalkboard paint, but still I couldn't find anyone willing to tell me if it would work on the contact paper. I even called the company who makes the contact paper...they didn't return my call. Really I didn't want to spend 25+ on markers that wouldn't work or would damage the contact paper. As the instructions state I tested a small area of my chalkboard contact paper. I tested several times waiting longer before erasing the chalk ink each time. It erases like a charm! It comes right off with either a slightly damp rag or windex for a larger erasing job. The only thing I did notice is that when the surface is wet you will see the outline of what you are erasing, when it dries however it is gone. Perhaps over time this may become an issue, but even if it is, the contact paper is cheap enough to replace even if I had to every few years. On the package it states can be used on actual chalkboards, it says this right on the front though per reviews I know this has not worked for many customers. I have not used it on an actual chalkboard or painted chalkboard product so I can't speak to that. Again it does say to test your area first. One really awesome thing I also learned is that it can write on smooth surface fridge fronts and wipes right off. If you have a black smooth front appliance like me, you will really loves these!

These pens will ruin your chalkboard painted wall. You can not get the imprint off. You will have to repaint. And the company agrees that they won't work on chalkboard paint on walls. Too bad they don't warn you on the package of their very expensive markers.

Unless you have a very hard surface like a porcelain on steel board or a manufactured, baked surface, or a semi-gloss painted surfaceyou will always have that issue. Chalk paint is very porous and not hard so it is something that will need a regular touch up. It's the nature of the material.

When I first told people I wanted a chalkboard door on my new (ridiculously expensive) refrigerator, people thought I was crazy. What would I do about the chalk dust? Didn't I know my kids would grind bits of chalk into the floor? It would be such a mess, etc., etc. *I* knew there had to be a product on market for professional use, and this is it.

These chalk marker work like old-school paint pens you shake them up, depress the tip to let the ink flow, and then write with them. Very clean, very tidy, no dust, no smearing.

The downside is that they require a damp cloth (I like my microfiber sponge) to remove. This being said, if you have a very porous chalkboard, or one mounted on porous material (wood, particle board, drywall) it isn't ever going to come out. Hence the way-too-small manufacturer's comment at the bottom of a previous poster's comments about a "hard surface". Read the manufacturer's directions carefully and do *not* try and use these unless you're sure you have a compatible chalkboard! Sacrifice a test corner if you're not sure. My chalkboard is fused to a sheet of metal about as non-porous as you can get. And so far the chalk pens have come off just fine.

I do really like them, but since the chiseled tip breaks down quickly (at least under my kids' hands) and they're fairly expensive for the amount of ink they hold, I can't give them a five star rating. I'm currently considering mounting another magnetic chalkboard panel elsewhere in the house, just for the kids to use, and I'll probably just give them regular chalk to use it's cheaper and easier to clean. As for me? I'll keep the liquid chalk for myself ;-)

If you make chalk boards for a local business, use nothing else! This product is significantly brighter than chalk. It creates clean lines for a professional appearance. As an unexpected benefit, it does not smudge. We used to have kids run their fingers down our chalkboard to mess it up, now if they ran their finger down it nothing happens. It only comes off with water. Also, I can write with one of these pens in less than half the time that chalk takes. Chalk is a child's toy. These pens mean business!

I fell in love with my Silhouette cameo and I use it to cut all the time. It came with a set of pens that I just ended up tossing in a drawer. I bought these to kick start my use of the cameo for sketch designs. I found the pens to be useful and peaked my creativity as they come a large range of colors for use in a number of projects. They are not designed for large production of the same item as they don't contain a large amount of ink. It is just what it says a "starter kit." Once you get used to sketching with the cameo, I recommend for large volume projects, to get the pen adapter and purchase a few pens that hold large volumes of ink.

The pens have tendency to not product smooth consistent results. You can see the fine to thick areas where the pen released more ink. Maybe I need to use mine more but the first few images I've produced I've been satisfied but wouldn't use them for professional projects

I have visits from great nieces, nephews, granddaughters, friends...what do you do with kids when the weather's bad and you'd prefer they do something other than sit in front of the TV set all day?

I give them paper, crayons, pencils and receive drawings for my fridge, help them make cards for Mom and Dad or just draw for the fun of it. I watch the small kids learn to write and control themselves with color crayons and finally "draw".

A much better investment than a TV, movies and a lot more fun!

Of course, one word of caution, get a tablet for each kid...it's just easier and a lot less hassles. And besides, the price is right!

I was looking for a birthday card for a family member with a specific song searched high & low but the song was not an option for any card anywhere in store or online. In looking for recordable cards, most of them were only 10 seconds these cards are a full 20 seconds. Notes: When recording, you need to keep firm pressure on the record button. Once I got the hang of that, I was able to make a recording with no problem. There are two cards the first one is as pictured, the second card is sort of plain. I used scrapbooking stickers to dress them up. The cards are about 1/4" thick and don't open I knew this from the pictures, descriptions and other reviews so it was fine with me. All in all, this was exactly what I needed, worked perfectly and was a lot of fun!

These tapes are true to their description. The colors look exactly like they do in the picture and they are really cute.

My only comment is that they are very small, I thought that for $18 they would be larger. Also, they vary in size. In the picture it looks like each tape has the same circumference, but that is not quite true.

This is a good starter set and will give you the ability to try out the paint medium. You don't get a lot of paint, but once you have figured out how to use the paint and what colors you'd like to use for your project, you can buy bigger containers of the colors you need. I didn't have any trouble with bubbles as mentioned in another review. The instructions state to not shake the paint as it will cause bubbles. I believe over stirring may do the same. The paint is thicker than white glue and it may even be a colored glue. Test your colors on a scrap piece of glass as they dry much clearer than what you see in each bottle.

I used a product very similar to this years ago to give us some privacy on our sidelights on our front door. It was easy to do and lasted for many years without having to touch it up. We recently got a new front door and I was faced with the same dilemma--how do we get privacy without sacrificing the light. I decided I wanted to paint the sidelights again. I wasn't sure if the product that I used before even existed. I was happy to see something like it on Amazon. I was glad I kept the patterns from the kit I had before. This kit doesn't have any patterns at all. I think it is easy to use, but then again I've done it before. This kit really doesn't have any instructions with it. The leading is very difficult to do without looking unprofessional, so I ordered the Redi-Lead strip also available on Amazon. I'm very happy with my sidelights. They look great. Be patient, take your time and I think you'll be happy with your results too!

I Like to paint and thought this would be a fun thing to try, but right from the first step I found nothing but frustration. My hand still hurt form trying to control the leading. I was following a simple pattern and couldn't get the leading to run smoothly or in any kind of a straight line. The paint itself bubbles, but I'm assuming if I had more practice I would be able to avoid that somehow. I just think maybe I'm missing something.

If you're into air pockets, running out of paint, or lack of instruction, this is for you. If you are thinking of painting an existing window in any way that resembles stained glass (with signature defined lines), this is not for you.

Running out of paint, OK I should have known.

Air pockets, I guess since I'm working vertically (but they happen literally every 2-3 seconds, so again, not for you if you have any shortness of patience).

Lack of instruction? The box says "For complete instructions see kits, patterns, and books."

Also, the 'combing tool' is a plastic stick that smears your paint around so that you end up using a wet, then dry, rag.

Honestly, if you're looking for a mess, it's in this package. Otherwise, I suggest buying sticky films with many attractive patterns.

PS: I love painting. And this was extremely frustrating.

I love this product! I have successfully used this medium for many years. I have had many compliments on my "stained" glass in my home and have used this at the library where I work at now. I have used it as a classroom project with middle schoolers and they loved the results and so did their parents! Easy to clean up after and easy to use.

So many techniques and colors and reusable too! I did one painted "sticker" of my husband's favorite tractor for our kitchen window and when we moved I just peeled it off the window and then re-applied to our new kitchen window. Worked great! You cannot shake the paint, and you do need to understand how to use a paintbrush but if you can master those two skills the sky is the limit!

Plus there are molds available that you can pour the paint into to create great looking beveled edged stickers and so much more.

Great stuff I just wish our local craft store still carried this so I wouldn't have to wait for shipping!

I bought these pens on sale a few years ago with other Faber Castell Artist Pens (Manga Grey Set, Manga Color Set), all of them advertised form Manga art. However, It was just a week ago when I started using them. Even after all these years, the ink good.

For practicing my manga art, I use 50 lbs. sketching paper instead of 110 lbs boards, but the ink stays in the right side of the paper without much smearing. The ink dries very fast, I can turn from inking to erasing in just a few seconds with no smearing.

This set includes four pens ranging from medium, fine, superfine and extra superfine nibs. It is advertised for Manga, but there is nothing that constraint this set for that purpose. It also lacks a brush pen, but you can get a separate black brush pen or even in a set of grey brush pens like I did when I bought this set. I highly recommend these pens.
