its pretty simple, it tells you everything it comes with, and then it does. The hard metal case does provide unexpected protection and isnt flimsy at all.

Gave it to my roommate for Christmas. He has been drawing for a while. He liked it, particularly the sticks in it.

I used these to draw and shade my pictures, but I rarely use them. What sucks about these is that when I received them, some of them were broken. But overall they are still good.

This is far superior to using just a simple nail to hang something. First, the bracket holds the nail at a good angle so that you don't drive the nail in at a funny angle. Second, it only lets you drive the nail in so far, so you don't hammer too hard and drive the nail all the way in where you have to use a fingernail to get it out. Third, I think it distributes the pressure across the entire bracket so you have more support and the nail won't pull out of the wall as easily.

The triangular plastic inserts provide extra strength in such a small hook. This small size and ability to support 10-pounds make them perfect for picture hanging.

no chance of bending nail on way in. someone thought about this and figured it out. why didn't I think of it?

Honest reviews on OOK 50606 ReadyNail Conventional Picture Hook Tidy Tin Supports

Slightly inferior to competitor's products where the customized nail fits snugly in a sleeve at the top of the hook and is easily removed by hand; readynail uses a small plastic block to keep the standard brass nail in place for shipping and hammering. That said, we have been using these given the combination of price and convenience offered on Amazon and have found them to function exactly as advertised and needed. Also, the tins that the 30 packs ship in are very convenient for keeping hooks of various sizes organized.

I will update this review should that change, but do not expect it to do so.

If you are looking to standardize your document frames (DAX #1826N3T) don't order through Amazon. You may receive them from Kentucky, which takes a mechanical engineer to calculate and align measurements between the two (2) v-shaped eyelets on the back of the frame, although the craftsmanship is of better quality than the frames from Nevada, which are thicker and put together with cuts resembling a rip saw, but they do have a single flat eyelet in the middle of the back of the frame, making for easier mounting. Easier mounting does not make the looks of frame easy on the eyes compared to the Kentucky version.

Amazon's Customer Service and several Customer Service supervisors were of no help in placing an order from either Kentucky or Nevada, which would guanantee the same style. Why are there 2 different styles of DAX #1826N3T, unless they are trying to get rid of one or the other, or both?

This has been a real nightmare dealing with Amazon and considering the number of nail holes in my wall, so if you are looking for conformity in certificate framing, it's a crap shoot for which one you will recieve and believe me hanging both togetther looks like an eye sore.

Entertaining with Caspari Profusion of Flowers Blank Notecards, Set Review

Customer Ratings:

What you see on the Amazon info. page is technically correct.... There are 8 cards, four each of the 2 designs shown in the picture. But each rectangle pictured is NOT the front of a folded card, which measures 5-7/8 x 4-1/8 inches. Each rectangle is the full sheet of card stock, which is folded to create a note card with those dimensions, & which fits into the envelopes included. For example, look at the rectangle on the left, the one with the large blue iris. The card is folded on a vertical line down the middle. The left edge of the blue iris is near the lefthand fold of the card. The big white hydrangea is in the center of the front image. If you cover the left half of the rectangle, what is visible is the front of the card. The covered half is the back of the folded card.

The 2 lovely images of Chinese 18th-century works of art are all there; they are just FOLDED IN HALF! Half of each is on the front of a card, & half is on the back of that card. I wonder whether other Caspari blank note cards have similarly misleading photos.... Now I think I understand the picture for the following:

Caspari Cards Flowers, Butterfly, and DragonflyBox of Eight Note Cards and Envelopes

With my newfound knowledge, I believe the small red rectangle is a picture of a card folded, & the large green rectangle is the other card design before it was folded. Who knew?

Review of Fiskars 101230-1001 Interchangeable Border Punch Starter Set, Daisy

I have to admit that I have become obsessed with border punches. The Fiskars interchangeable border punch is the perfect solution to my storage problem!!! I can keep adding to my border punch collection without taking up too much space! Once the design cartridge snaps into place on the base it works just like a regular border punch. It's easy to line the paper up to get a continuous border and it makes a clean cut every time!! After I punched out the design I weaved some ribbon through like the package recommended. It was adorable and it added just the right amount of texture. Not only do you get a great punch from this purchase, but you get a great new tip too...what a deal!

These interchangeable punches are amazing! They are incredibly easy to store. You no longer need lots of punches that are difficult to stack or store. With these Fiskars punches you only need one base and can choose from many different designs for the cartridges. The cartridges can be stacked up and barely take up any room. It is very easy to align the designs for each punch and create perfect borders. With some of the patterns you can weave a ribbon in or a piece of paper. I love these punches! Amazing!

This is a very versatile tool. I can purchase additional cartridges for my interchangeable punch. This makes storing the punch so much easier because the cartridges themselves do not take up much room. The boarder made a cute flower boarder, perfect for some baby shower thank you cards I was making. It was easy to punch completely through the cardstock and align the punch to continue on down the page. I would recommend this interchangeable border punch, and can't wait to get additional punches!

Honest reviews on Fiskars 101230-1001 Interchangeable Border Punch Starter Set, Daisy

I own a couple of Martha Stewart border punches, as well as several Fiskars border punches, and of the two brands I'd give Fiskars a higher mark. Their tools punch more cleanly. I often have problems getting a cleanly punched border from the Martha Stewart systems, even after I run aluminum foil through them to clean them out. All of the Fiskars punches are easy to line up over a previously punched area, so that you can punch a continuous border. This particular punch makes a pretty flower border for a feminine-looking card. It could be used for anything from birthday to get well cards. Easy to store, quick service from Amazon. Will purchase more of these punches from Amazon.

This punch is really easy to use and cuts a nice sharp edge. I like that you can buy additional borders and easily change them out. My only complaint is that it was a little hard to punch through really thick card stock (but I am not known for my arm strength ha!).

These layers add that extra pop! Like all detailed thin metal dies, put a layer of wax paper next to die, then your paper,

will release like a charm. The other trick is to layer scotch tape or cellotape if you are not in the US (on the back of the die, not the cutting side) on areas don't cut as well and just leave it on, sort of a spot shim. I find that easier than rotating the die

etc...

As another reviewer stated, I am very frustrated with this die cut. I have bought many spellbinders die cuts and this one looks so beautiful but it does not cut all the way though after running it though my cuddlebug over 3 times. I have tried all sorts of paper, light weight, cardstock, good paper, and cheap paper and none of them came out. The wasted paper( Gina K. paper is not cheap) and the hours I have spent picking the tiny bits of paper out of the die has left me bald, lol. As I sit and drool over this beautiful die cut, I would not recommend spending $24.99 on this nestability or for that fact any amount of money. Sorry Spellbinders but this die needs to go back to the drawing board.

Not an easy task to remove from cardstock. Requires running through my Cuddlebug several times and then I don't get a clean cut.

I have found these dies to be quite usable. They cut nicely with one pass through machine. I love that you can interlock the star pieces. That's made for another beautiful shape and was easy to do.

the variety of colors was amazing and the pigmentation was great. they are tiny tubes, but i only needed them for a school project so it was convenient for me. i've had acrylic paint that is watery and runny and that requires a couple of layers to get an opaque color but these are thick and one layer was enough.

Best Deals for Reeves Acrylic Paints 10ml 24/Pkg-Assorted Colors

I bought these to do nail art designs. They work for what I needed them for and will continue to use them. Though the tubes are small they will last a very long time because not very much is needed for nail art or small projects.

Honest reviews on Reeves Acrylic Paints 10ml 24/Pkg-Assorted Colors

I was looking for a paint to use for nail art after seeing several pinterest/youtube posts about how acrylic craft paint is better than nailpolish, I decided to give it a go. I bought this kit because I saw another reviewer saying she had used this for nail art and had had a positive experience.

The tubes are small, but with nail art a little goes a LONG way. I would recommend dotting a little onto parchment paper and working from there there's also enough variety that you can mix your own colors.

I did a clear base coat of nail polish, then used the black to cover the nails. I was pleased with the opacity and lack of streaking. 2 coats (that both dried much faster than nail polish!) completely covered the nails. I then went on to detail work. My first attempt was at "The Nightmare Before Christmas" nails and I was able to create designs of Jack, Oogie Boogie, Zero and 2 scenes from the movie. I covered the entire thing with a clear nail polish top coat. People have not stopped raving about how great my nails look. 4 days later and not a single chip and the best part? The entire kit of 24 tubes cost the same as only 2 containers of nail polish! I think I am done forever with nailpolish and will be using Reeves paints for my nails from now on!

I painted a kitchen window in a vineyard scene. This paint set allowed me to be creative, but I couldn't manage a dark enough green (for my liking). The project turned out pretty well, regardless. These paints are amazing! I wanted to paint some of the windows in my home and I wasn't 100% sure what colors I wanted to use, but when I bought these this set was priced at under $30. That's a phenomenal price, because it's around $3 per bottle if you buy the bottles individually. It was worth it to me to have so many colors to experiment with while I decided what I wanted on my windows, and I plan to use as much as the paint as possible painting sun-catchers as holiday gifts. If they're priced at less than $2.99/bottle and you want a variety of colors to play with, this set is a great value! I have had one window painted for a couple of weeks now, and it looks great and is holding up well. I've started on the next.

The dapping set was a mess when I got it. Loose in it's box the bits were all over. The block is horribly cut, gouges and slices all over it and there was sawdust all over the block and pieces. Total mess. I'm very disappointed with my "new" purchase.
