This set of brushes is a great value. The Cotman brand is said to be student grade, but I found them to be well made, with quality materials. In my opinion, every bit as nice as the more expensive "professional" grade brushes. There is a nice spring in the tips and they shape right up after use. I also like the nice assortment of brush sizes. I purchased these with the Cotman set of 10 tubes of water colors. I highly recommend this set of brushes as well as the Cotman water colors. They are both very high quality.

Review of Sizzix 656649 Texture Fades Embossing Folders 2-Pack, Dot-Matrix

Customer Ratings:

If you're into "shabby chic," these folders are for you.

They both produce worn-looking textured patterns; one, a "dots" design, and the other a "woven wire" pattern.

I've used these to texture printed designs to give them an older "antiqued" look, and also used them as backdrops for a layered card design, lightly sanded to bring out the texture.

My embossing machine is a Sizzix, so these work just fine, but they should work perfectly OK in any die-cutting/embossing machine that can handle the standard plastic embossing folder.

Omnigrid(R) Rotary Ruler Set -Basics Reviews

Customer Ratings:

Seriously, what did we do?

These rulers are nice and sturdy and have smaller increments making being "exact" easier. That being said, the yellow printing is great on darker colors, but hard to see on lighter colors of course.

The rotary cutter/ruler/self healing board sets make sewing and crafting sooooo much easier, and more enjoyable with far superior results.

They have put new life in my sewing.

I already had two quilting rulers, a 6x24 and an 8x8. This set fills in the gaps between and below those sizes perfectly. I now feel like I have all the rulers I'll ever need. I also ordered the non slip stuff to stick on the back and that seems to make the rulers even better.Omnigrid Invisible Grip Roll, 12-1/2 by 36Inch I was able to cover all 5 of my rulers with one roll so I gave the other roll to my mom.

I am new to sewing and I was looking for these rulers at hobby lobby. However even with the 40% off, I would still have to pay much more there than buying it online here from Amazon.

These ruler helped me alot as before I use the normal ruler, and everytime i cut the fabric, the ruler would slip a little so i never got a straight cut unless i put much pressure on the ruler.

Only one complaint is the 1x6 ruler I got has some scratch on it. But overall, I am satified with this purchase

Honest reviews on Omnigrid(R) Rotary Ruler Set -Basics

The product is very good, just as I had expected. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to buy good quilting tools.

The order arrived on time and in perfect condition.

this is a good Basic set. I have been quilting for years and I broke my 6x12. i was just going to by a new 6x12 but the set was a better deal. I didn't think i would use the 1x6 ruler much so that's why i never bought before. well i use it a lot now that i have it.

Discount Cover Buttons - 3/4" (SIZE 30) KIT - WIRE BACKS - QTY 10 SETS

Customer Ratings:

I was considering having my sofa cushions recovered after the button covers started coming off. Once the cover is off, you sit on a sharp metal ring and it is very uncomfortable. A friend mentioned replacing the buttons using the fabric from one of the pillows for the new button covers.

I didn't know how to select the correct size so I carefully measured the diameter of the button cover. Then I noticed that the button back (the piece secured to the cushion) has it's size printed on the back of it. Good thing I noticed as my measurements were different. After looking on Amazon, I saw this button kit from "I CRAFT FOR LESS" and couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. I ordered and found online instructions on how to use.

I have never worked with buttons before so was not confident of the outcome from my handiwork. It took about 30-minutes to make 10 buttons (very simple) and another 30-minutes to install them on the sofa. They look just like the original buttons!

I really feel like I saved a lot of money by using this simple technique.

Buy 52 GEL Pens W/comfort Grips & Tin Storage Case!

Customer Ratings:

I use gel markers in coloring dover coloring books, there are many sets available, however this set better than most. The metal case is overkill but the range of colors, smoothest of ink flo is very good. I can't give it a higher rating because the amount of different colors is very misleading, it has two of almost every color plus it is mostly gliter and neon colors. Marker performance gets it the high mark, very smooth, all but one color worked well right out of the can.

I was a little nervous ordering these I've had a lot of gel pens stop working after just a few uses. When I got them I tested each one to see the different colors I was some what disappointed on the flow of ink, but when I went to use the pens to color some detailed pictures I was VERY PLEASED the pens must have warmed up, they work great. I really like the glitter pens, very pretty. I don't use the pens to write just to color and I really like them. The tin storage case is very flimsy, but I wasn't planning on using it anyway.

i adore these pens! there are some who say there are not truly 52 different colors. each color is different even if same hue family.

the glitters rock! show up a lot better than i expected. all of the colors are great if you are wanting to experiment with new tones. i like mixing mediums, so these are great for that too.

Honest reviews on 52 GEL Pens W/comfort Grips & Tin Storage Case!

Any artist will love this set, don't hesitate on getting them. Perfect for spiro-graph (spiral art), in addition the storage tin/mini briefcase holds alot more than just the pens, perfect for art supplies on the go.

When I first tried to take the caps off, it ended with a few (about 5) pens breaking because it was impossible to remove the caps! Clearly a cheaply made product, but the pens work great when the caps finally gave.

I have been using Le Pen for years and love it so much I can't be without several colors. I don't think I knew what I was getting with this set. Neither end makes the stroke, or mark, that I was expecting--These markers seem to be a little dry. I'll still use Le Pen, but I'll just order "the regular."

This is my third set from different sellers and in all cases the fine tips are too fine to allow ink to flow properly or the ink doesn't flow at all. The problem is most noticeable in lighter colors in this set and all colors in the Pastel sets. Poor engineering design. Poor customer service you get a misdirected recording and then no call back.

I love these pens for use on doodle art. The two sides with thin and thicker and work really well.

American Crafts 5-Pack Amy Tangerine Yes Please Slick Writer Marker Review

Customer Ratings:

I follow Amy Tan(gerine) on Instagram and am an avid fan of the Project life scrapbooking system. Not too long ago, Amy posted an image with sentences she wrote with beautiful colors from her Yes Please Slick Writer Markers and I had to have them! I am so glad I ordered them, they are beautiful! They have a fine point. I did write on paper with them and they do bleed a bit (they are markers, after all!) and I wrote on a picture and wow... I recommend these!

Each color is beautiful, bright and happy! They are expensive (reason for the four stars) but they are excellent pens.

These are awesome. Work on both sides of photos and dry instantly. Colors are really bright and vivid. Also will write on page protectors. Got them for Project Life stuff.

Best Deals for American Crafts 5-Pack Amy Tangerine Yes Please Slick Writer Marker

And bright, happy Amy Tangerine colors? What's not to love? These are just like their siblings (black and multi-color) and write on probably everything. Myself, I've used them on photos, plastic, metal, and yes, paper with no bleed through. Love the acrylic tip as my children have the (frustrating) habit of pressing to hard and these hold up. Thanks Amy, these are soooo close to the perfect pen (i tend to lose caps so a clicker style would be ideal lol)!

Honest reviews on American Crafts 5-Pack Amy Tangerine Yes Please Slick Writer Marker

I was looking for pens/makers for my wedding photo guestbook!! With no luck, could not find anything in the store that had good dry time. I found a website that told me the dry time of different markers and wish I could remember the website so i could thank them!!! The dry time is like 1 sec. even on the photo paper. And the colors are so bright!!! I was so worried i would end up only being able to find black!!! You will love these makers for anything you could use them for (scrape booking) . I'm not joking about the dry time its 1 sec.!!!

A pack of 2 cutting mats is actually 4 because they are reversible. If you have a Carl cutter that is starting to cut jagged edges, you probably need a new mat. They simply drop into place and it is like new!! Fast shipping and worth every penny.

Review of Plaid:Craft - Folk Art Extreme Glitter Paint 2 Ounces

Customer Ratings:

I'm not sure why this paint is represented with a pink colorit is NOT pink. It is a transparent paint with a lot of glitter in it. I had bought it after searching Amazon with the pink 'check box' selected, and was disappointed to find that when it arrived it was not what it had appeared to be. That said, I did use it anyway, and it is a very nice paintit's more of an Elmer's Glue consistency, and there is a lot of glitter in it. If I had been looking for a transparent glitter paint, this would be a 5-star review. The product and company are great, but please be aware that the color is inaccurate before you choose this paint.

This product was a very reasonably priced dapping set. I needed it to learn how to dap myself and to teach a beginning dapping class. I thought there was a nice variety of sizes and everything was neatly organized.

The dapping set was a mess when I got it. Loose in it's box the bits were all over. The block is horribly cut, gouges and slices all over it and there was sawdust all over the block and pieces. Total mess. I'm very disappointed with my "new" purchase.

Beautiful verses! I would recommend this to anyone that likes making spiritual cards. The words on the stamp make you feel good. I am looking for the wood stamper!

I love the sentiments of these stamps. I must admit that I didn't read the description accurately. These stamps do require the special mounting block. I tried to adapt them to foam mounting but it didn't work. I tried double sided tape and an acrylic block but I didn't like how that worked either. So I looked and found some mounting blocks. It ended up being more costly than I really wanted as I don't have other stamps to use with these specialized blocks. But saying all that, these stamps are nice and will add to my card making.

I bought this specifically to do one type of dry embossing called "Parchamore Stencil Set Butterfly" made for the mini shape boss that utilizes vellum. It is not just dry embossing but also incorporated a 3rd sheet in the set that allows you to partially prick the vellum. When you dry emboss vellum it makes a interesting whitish mark and the dots you prick add a nice texture. you can purchase all through Amazon.com. You also can buy (it comes with one free one inside)regular stencils for the mini that you can use card stock with and those just dry emboss as usual. The instructions that came in it were very explanatory even if you had never used the bigger shape boss or even never dry embossed before so I am not sure what the other reviewer experienced.

The two cons on this product: there are not enough different stencils(there are only 3 of the Parchamore type I have been able to find) to purchase and secondly it can be hard on the hands as there is not much place to rest you hand and it is to thick to rest on the table so you hand is left up in the air as you work.

As to the price I agree it is too pricey here on amazon at this time. It was much cheaper when I purchased mine. However please don't give a good product a low star because you felt you were gouged, take that up with Amazon. There seems to be a trend lately where the prices here have gone up out of all proportion on many items.

This product is not what I thought it would be. I would even go on you tube for instructions but they are not in english so I can;t understand what she is saying. I will continue to work with it. So I am not giving up. AND YOUR PRICES are way to high after I bought this mini shape boss and I found 2 other sites that sold it for way less. I thought your prices were suppose to be good. Well, not on this one. Come on guys you make a lot more money then we do. Start looking around and lower your prices.

Thank you

Martha Stewart Crafts Colored Pencils, 36 Pieces Reviews

Customer Ratings:

This set of Martha Stewart colored pencils colors very nicely, rolls smoothly across any medium of paper and cardstock, and also blends nicely with other colors with little effort.

However, I would not suggest using these pencils too often or as your only coloring medium because they can be quite difficult to deal with once you have to sharpen them. They are the type of pencil that after the first sharpening, the led will constantly break and fall out. I've tried numerous high end/high quality pencil sharpeners and they don't make a bit of difference. Plain an simple, these pencils are not good to be sharpened once they are dulled. This is the 3rd package I've gone through with these pencils and all of the packages have had the same issues.

I guess it's one way to ensure that customers keep purchasing the product, make them destructive so that constant purchase is required.

I bought these to use to color Mandalas. Yes, I know, I'm a bit funny coloring in coloring books at my age. I loved the variety of colors offered, the quality of the actual pencils, but for my purposes the pencils weren't a good choice. The need to resharpen the pencils so often took away from my enjoyment of coloring the mandalas, which are often very intricate and require a great deal of concentration.

I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a higher quality colored pencil for smaller projects. Definitely a cut above Crayola!

Discount Darice GX-1310-06 35-Pack Core'dinations A2 Size Card and Envelope

Customer Ratings:

The cards were just what my 88 year old mother needs for card making using her embosser. However we were disappointed to find that all of the envelopes were white, not coordinating colors as the description had led us to think. My mom likes to emboss the envelopes too and was hoping for colored envelopes.
