You can not use this product with any of the other felting tools. You must purchase a special needle holder, that is made by Deminsions. I don't like that.

I understood that the needles broke easily so I got the replacements to have on hand in case one broke but I haven;t needed one yet. I think if you use the needle punch the ay you're suppose to you won't need them. just didn't want to be in the middle of a project and have a needle break and bring it to a standstill .

Pay attention to what your holder looks like as you take it apart. There's a spring in there so remember where it goes. Other than getting the spring in the wrong place, there's not much to go wrong with replacing a busted needle. I was back at felting in a matter of minutes. The needles were identical to the original needles. They are very sharp, so keep your fingers out of the way. Felting is fast once the needles are in the holder.

Faber-Castell has always been my go-to for quality art supplies. I purchased the watercolour pencils, not for creating watercolour paintings, but for use on faceups (doll makeup) for my Asian ball jointed dolls. The colour glides on so smoothly, it's like a dream, with no flakes or powder residue like I've seen with cheaper quality pencils, to stain the resin or leave streaks where you don't want them. I get exactly the colour I want, right where I want it, without worrying about mistakes. Even if I do get a bit where I don't want it, a white eraser does the trick to remove the colour from the resin. Highly recommended!

These pencils enable the artist to sketch and experiment with colors and effects without undue worry that the piece will appear over-done. Once water is applied, the image can be softened or emphasized as desired. I use a water brush to better control the amount and distribution of the water.

I follow Amy Tan(gerine) on Instagram and am an avid fan of the Project life scrapbooking system. Not too long ago, Amy posted an image with sentences she wrote with beautiful colors from her Yes Please Slick Writer Markers and I had to have them! I am so glad I ordered them, they are beautiful! They have a fine point. I did write on paper with them and they do bleed a bit (they are markers, after all!) and I wrote on a picture and wow... I recommend these!

Each color is beautiful, bright and happy! They are expensive (reason for the four stars) but they are excellent pens.

Myself, I've used them on photos, plastic, metal, and yes, paper with no bleed through. Love the acrylic tip as my children have the (frustrating) habit of pressing to hard and these hold up. I was looking for pens/makers for my wedding photo guestbook!! With no luck, could not find anything in the store that had good dry time. I found a website that told me the dry time of different markers and wish I could remember the website so i could thank them!!! The dry time is like 1 sec. even on the photo paper. And the colors are so bright!!! I was so worried i would end up only being able to find black!!! You will love these makers for anything you could use them for (scrape booking) . I'm not joking about the dry time its 1 sec.!!!

I am a full time artist and go through brushes fairly quickly so I am always looking for more of my favorites, filbert and round brushes. I tried these royal brown brushes, and they work just fine. No loose hairs coming out, they hold their shape and work very well. I would recommend these brushes and would even give them as a gift. I may buy them again in the future.

I gave it 5 stars because "I love it." If I liked it I would've given it 4 stars; I know how to read. I bought this set of brushes along with there other 12 piece "Zip N' Close" set of brushes. I appreciate that all the quality went into the brush production for the buck you pay and left me with garbage for a "Zip N' Close" package. Probably why you can't find better brushes for the money I paid.

Cheap Apoxie Sculpt 1 Lb. Black

I have never used this or any modeling/sculpting clays before but this worked well out of the box just as expected. It provided me plenty of time to mold what I wanted and dried without drooping, cracking, etc. I was able to use water to smooth out the surfaces quite well. Cleanup was messy so I highly recommend gloves but obviously that's difficult if you're sculpting something with any level of detail. I only rated it 4 starts instead of 5 simply due to price. But, high quality and you get what you pay for. I'd purchase it again.

P.S. I formed a cup holder for my Maserati a bit bulky but like that I could sandow down the finished product and build over a floral foam core!

Exactly what I was looking for. I have several projects that needed something like epoxy to bond, shape and fill holes but it needed to be black. This stuff is perfect! easy to mix and cures rock hard. Once cured it can be drilled, sanded, shaped, etc.

If you are an artist and you know how to use this product, it's the best. Great performance that has lasted already two years on a pair of boots that I use for a costume. Easy to shape and dries true to color. Incredible stuff!

I've used the hard cover moleskine's before. I've tried the thicker non-ruled and the thinner non-ruled. They're nice because of the hard cover. But then I saw here on Amazon that they have cancer causing ingredients, so I found out that these do not.

I love the large size. The paper is just as nice in these as the hard cover ones. Though you have to have a firm surface to write on, I like the size of these, the number of pages, that it doesn't cause cancer, and the price. The pages look thin, but I like writing with the really fine Pilot G-Tec pens, so it's not a problem. I haven't tried heavier pens to see if they bleed through. I don't like heavy, bleeding pens.

These are definitely right for the price. Nice pockets in the back too, as all Moleskine's have (I think).

Okay, so I am in illustrator, and I have scoured the land of sketchbooks, and I just love these! Moleskine is a fabulous book maker, really, they are a name brand, which makes me hesitate, who wants to spend 20$ on one empty book? However I have fallen in love with these, the Extra Large (which is only by Moleskine standards, these are normal size books, about equal to those composition notebooks) is the only size I can stand, I wish they'd have a size larger, but that's fine. And the smaller amount of pages per each I actually prefer. I can devote one book to an entire project or stream of thought, and FILL it, which has always been an intimidating thing, to fill a notebook, and these for some reason get filled up and look brilliant!

The pages take pencils really well, ink does bleed through, so have a spare protector sheet ready, the little envelope built in in the back is handy, and the last section of micro-perferated sheets are okay (I don't like them so much, but every once in a while it's nice to be able to tear something out neatly.

These used to be 12$ and change on Amazon, and the price has been steadily creeping up (grrr.) I've looked for alternatives, but I think this is still the best option out there, and 6$/ea isn't so bad, really.

While screen printing does require some trial and error, we strive to make the kits complete, fun, and easy to use. Unfortunately, we have not found a way to make them foolproof. Your comments regarding the instructions are well-taken and we have tried to make them easier. To that end, we now include a free instructional DVD in the kit. The Ultimate kit does indeed come with 2 different size screens as described on the package. One 8x10 screen and one 10x14 screen provides flexibility and the opportunity to work with 2 screens simultaneously if the printmaker desires. We make many other sizes, but these are two of the most popular. There are also two 9 inch squeegees (referred to as 'scrapers'). One is designed to lay down a heavier layer of ink for printing on fabric, while the other is designed for printing on paper and similar less porous materials. The 9 inch squeegee is the optimal size to print across the width of the 8x10 screen and lengthwise in the 10x14 screen. With this combination you can print either size on both fabric and paper.

You don't need to coat the screen in the dark when using Speedball photo emulsion. We coat screens every day in our lab, at home, in schools, and at printmaking studios around the country in broad daylight with no difficulty. Just be sure to let it dry in a dark place like a cabinet or closet. Once dry, you have a couple minutes in the light before you begin the exposure so there is no need for a darkroom.

It is a real mistake to disparage the "other screen methods" as arts and crafts or child's projects. One need only see the screen prints of Henri Matisse or Jacob Lawrence to learn what an artist can create out of simplicity.

At a time when other available screen printing materials were harsh, solvent based chemicals, Speedball invested heavily in the research and development of safe, easy to use screen printing materials to complement their water-based relief printing inks. This was a Christmas gift for my 23 year old daughter. She has never screen printed but is a professional dancer and full time adult artsy kid. She watched the DVD and within 24 hours "smudgy panda" was printed on everything she could get under the screen. Yep there was a learning curve--hence the name of the Panda but it was steep and only a few smudgy panda's were actually smudgy. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an entry into silk screening.

Okay, I admit it. Sometimes (er...often) I put a project aside to sail off into the land of "new yarn new neat pattern can't sleep till I try this" knitting nirvana. And that means that I return days, weeks, ashamed to admit it months later to restart the abandoned but worthy project. These little slip on needle size tags save me from starting to knit with the wrong size needle tip. Worth every penny, I keep several sets on hand.
