The wooden box and contents seem fair. Now that it is in hand, I do not believe it is worth the $107 paid. The exterior box is nice with the faux distress and metal leaf emblem on the lip. Hinges are very loose though, I would prefer the lid to have a bit of resistance when opening, but that's neither here nor there. My biggest complaint is that the internal dividers are card stock and are only in place due to the pressure of all the content items wedged in. When I opened the box for the first time, most all of the dividers, pen nibs, and ink bottles popped out. It was a pain to sort through it all, refolding the cardboard divides, and trying to wedge each single wall back into place using the product image here in Amazon to guess where each piece goes. I will end up building a proper wooden dividing grid to avoid this in the future, and to make things a bit more formal and authentic.

So everyone knows generally what's included in the box, I'll try to list it out---something the product description neglected.

Glass/plastic pen 3 with odd spiral design. Easy to look at, but awkward to hold.

3 nib designs, with 2 nibs per design (6 nibs total). I don't have the box with me as I write this, so it is possible that each pen had a nib already attached making a total of 9 nibs? I just honestly can't remember. Either way, you get at least 2 of each which should be fine. Just be aware you may end up bending them under the pressure needed to put them in and out of the pen heads.

Reference top right corner of product image: You have a wooden handle with a metal scoop/spoon for melting wax. My metal head was barely attached to the hand in the the threading was not cut deep enough into the handle for a proper fit. The tension of the threading keeps it together, but I must be very careful as a decent bump may knock the spoon head loose. I would be annoyed if I spilled hot wax due to this, so be careful.

Just under that is a card stock lid to open revealing reddish wax flakes to be melted for your letter seals.

Reference lower right of product image: 3 wax seal stampers. 1. fish icon; 2. heart icon; and 3. a generic leaf-life shape. If I can figure out how to post pics, I'll add later. on the far left of that row is a metal burner. You unscrew the top cap revealing a rope-type wick as you would find in oil lamps. You can unscrew the base to add oil for burning. So, light it, scoop the wax flakes into the metal spoon top right, hold over to melt, pour over closed envelope, stamp, and seal.

There is also a wax stick in the middle. It looks nice as it is, so I'll probably stick to red waxes and keep broken under the lid as described earlier.

For decoration it's fine. For function, you may end up tweaking things a bit. I would be happy to pay $50 for this maybe, but feel disappointed at the current price knowing pieces are loosely put together and there is no sturdy dividing structure to compliment the design. Some pen nibs were also bent out of shape. Not a problem as they work (and replaceable at a local Michael's or Hobby Lobby), just frustrating.

I hope this review helps? It's overall not bad, just over-priced for the quality. 3 stars because it works. Lower price or slightly better quality of material would easily give it 4 or 5 IMHO. Shipping and packing material was very good. Box was secure for shipment.

While it may have taken a while to get this due to manufacturer delays, it was well worth wait. This is a beautiful set with a nice selection of nibs and an awesome glass pen. The ink selection is very nice also. And I love the sealing wax with the burner and pot. VERY cool! I am quite pleased.

This product comes in a fine wooden box with a metal feather inset on the top. The construction feels nice and the set is quite robust. The sealing wax is a dark orange/red color and is very handsome. There are five inks to write with. The overall quality is quite good, though the major selling point is the design of the box. For the price of 100 dollars it may not be for everyone, but this is a nice gift of high quality.

So, I've only recently begun twisting balloons and have gone through two different sets of balloon companies before trying Qualatex. In the earlier ones I tried (can't remember the name) the balloons were popping on blowing them up maybe on in five times. And if a yellow one popped, the rest of the yellow ones were likely as defected.

I've had one or two balloons of Qualatex pop before I start twisting, and they are also holding up much better to the really tough twists that interlock 3-4 joints. When I need more balloons, I know which company to come back to now.

On a side note, balloon twisting is much easier to pick up than origami or juggling were, although the latter two are also pretty easy at the basic level. Balloon twisting's learning curve was much shallower.

I bought a book that taught me how to make animal baloons. A number of baloons were included. They were poor quality so it was frustrating to see them explode while I was learning.

The Qualetex baloons are very good quality, don't break easy and the animals last for days and sometimes weeks.

I later found them at the local party store in smaller packages, hidden on a bottom shelf. I don't regret ordering them anyway.

I thought I ordered Genuine Qualatex Balloons but what I received was some cheap rip-off. I am a professional balloon twister who has been twisting for a little over ten year. I have been buying Qualatex balloons from a local balloon store for almost ten years so I know a genuine product when I see one. The balloons I received from Kernel Trading Inc. are clearly not genuine Qualatex balloons. The first clue is the packaging (refer the pictures I submitted). The second clue is the feel and quality of the balloons I received. I made over 100 balloon pieces for a fair using the original Qualatex balloons and only two popped (some of the balloons were back up balloon that are well over a year old). I tried to make some using the ones I received from Kernel Trading Inc. and out of the ten that I pulled out of the bag three popped while I was twisting and one popped after the piece was completed. Kernel Trading Inc. should be ashamed of their deceitful practices. DO NOT order these balloons if you are looking for genuine Qualatex Balloon are high quality balloons in general.

It's worth paying extra these balloons don't pop as easily as the cheap ones. Slight gripe is that you don't get all the colors and there is a lot of black.

I used this back in the day when it was "SuperWeld" and nothing has changed but the packaging, which is 100% better. It comes with an A&B which you have to mix in the supplied "dixie" cup using one of the two freezer pop sticks. It's a one to one mixture so it's super easy to use. You mix it VERY thoroughly and it'll start getting warm. Slather it on and let it sit for a couple of hours so it can harden.

I used this to rebuild some broken plastic tabs on my car. I put it on super thick and then drilled it out. It couldn't have worked better. To replace the broken part on my car would have take several hours due to the disassembly/assembly process, so this REALLY was a life saver.

This product is a bit more viscous than other products, so if you need something super thick like putty, this isn't the product for you. I'd say it's slightly more viscous than toothpaste.

I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This is my third set from different sellers and in all cases the fine tips are too fine to allow ink to flow properly or the ink doesn't flow at all. The problem is most noticeable in lighter colors in this set and all colors in the Pastel sets. Poor engineering design. Poor customer service you get a misdirected recording and then no call back.

These do not come wrapped in plastic so the white was dirty.

The production description says "six 1-1/4 diameter chenille stems" you actually get ONE 6 foot stem that is about an inch thick.

These are nice and thick and plush, though the wire in them does not seem to be any sturdier than a typical chenille stem which makes them floppy. I had to twist in a wire for stability.

I use these for any event, but recently I used them for my mother's memorial keepsake. It was much more beautiful than the ones from the Funeral Home, and I was able to use Word (or Print Shop) to import pictures of mom and do a remembrance on the inside with pictures in each corner. The front third was a picture of Mom with her birthdate and place. The middle third back was the memorial information (services, interment, luncheon), and the in-fold third was Amazing Grace stanza's and scripture. The gold trim is classic.

These were lovely programs but unless you have an awesome printer at home save yourself the trouble. Printing them at home did not work for me, this card stock paper was too thick for my printer and I had to pay another $25to have them printed and that was for black only ink, in the end I HATED my programs and for the same price could have ordered lovely pre printed ones from Zazzle!

I recently discovered my love of watercolor pencils. Draw and sketch as if it is a pencilthen add some water on a brush and add a watercolor effect.

36 colors for the price I paid are definitely a good dealthese are Staedtler, after all. You don't get a metal tin, or the other more secure Staedtler products boxmeaning you have to shuffle around to see all the colorsthat is where packaging does matter. They easily slip out of the card box box and you risk breaking them.

The color selection is great. These are however NOT very softnor very water soluble. When compared with other Stadtler watercolor pencils, or even compared with the Prismacolor watercolor pencils that I use in comparisonit takes a lot of brushing and water to get the watercolor effectcompared to other products. But that's also a pluswith the Prismacolors watercolor you draw half a face and half the pencil is gonethese are not so soft, meaning they last longer.

For the price they are great, great color selectionjust wished the watercolor effect was a bit more intense.

This "Box of 36 pencils" came to us as a box of 13 -with 23 MISSING pencils! The remaining 13 pencils were all broken (even with the protected lead!!!) and cracked. The box itself looked like it had been ripped open in parts.

Sadly, this wasn't discovered until it was opened on Christmas morning.

This was a HUGE disappointment!!!

Copic pens are very easy to control, as opposed to nib pens. The lines come out neat and crisp. The fine tip pens really are as fine as I'd hoped. I tried a cheaper set of pens I found that were supposedly the same sizes, but the lines came out fatter. While they had a darker black, as an aspiring manga artist, I really need the thin crispness that these Copic pens never fail to produce.

All I can say is that any serious artist that inks works would be doing themselves a favor by purchasing these pens, or at least Copic inking pens.

They are the ONLY pens that don't bleed with Prisma / Copics, and I'm sure if they don't bleed for those, I'll be good to go with watercolors!

They're expensive, but you get what you pay for! I love them! (Especially that .03 pen, so many fine details can be added to a tiny drawing!)

I love these pens and have been using them frequently ever since i got them about a year ago. The range of thickness of the nibs means you don't have to go over lines over and over to create the line thickness you want. Whenever people see me using these pens they are amazed by good they are. Ive been asked numerous times where I got them, and gotten many jealous looks as well. Sadly, after a year of abuse, and i mean a lot of abuse, a couple of them are running out of ink and the brush pens are getting frayed at the end. I plan on buying the same set again because these are REALLY great pens i don't know what id do without them!

It says these are to be placed on your needles, but for the life of me I don't see how that's possible without breaking them. Maybe I'm just dense.

Other than that, these are pretty handy for knitting on the go. They are small enough to fit in a pocket and stays on your number even when being jostled around in a purse.

I had previously bought a stitch counter, which looks identical to the small one in this set, but it's not. When I tried to use it, on my 2.75mm and 3.25mm knitting needles, which I normally use, it just slid off. It does however fit on my 4.00mm needles, but I don't use those very often. I couldn't find anything different locally.

I'm glad I decided to buy this set the smaller counter fit's all 3 sizes of knitting needles, I just mentioned, and my 5.00mm needles. The larger counter also fits on my 5.00mm and 6.50mm needles, it's a bit of a push on the last one. This set works with all the needles I use. It's very rare for me to use needles larger than 5.00mm, the larger sizes never get used, but I tried the counters on them for this review.

The large counter fits on my 6.50mm and 7.50mm knitting needles, but not my 10.00mm needles I recently bought for a project. That's OK though, I decided not to do it! I'm very happy with the stitch counters. Now I don't have to keep track of my rows and stitches by writing them down on paper.

I'm learning how to crochet. The smaller counter fits on most of the smaller crochet hooks, starting from 1.00mm, but when you get to size 3.75mm and 4.25mm, niether of the 2 counters will fit. The large counter will fit 5mm up to the largest size in the set 6.50mm with a bit of a shove.

These counters arrived quickly. They do the job, but the numbers do not click into place like my Boye counters. In fact, if I'm not careful, the counter will change count. So these are A-OK if you treat them gently.

Another PBN that is turning out beautiful. My aunt is still painting it but the canvass is really turning out great. Will get it framed and hung for the Christmas season. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that some of the paint is lumpy.
