It says these are to be placed on your needles, but for the life of me I don't see how that's possible without breaking them. Maybe I'm just dense.

Other than that, these are pretty handy for knitting on the go. They are small enough to fit in a pocket and stays on your number even when being jostled around in a purse.

arrived fast and the item was great. love the counters, I put them on a piece of yarn so they don't get lost easy. They are a must have for any crocheter, knitter, crafter that counting is needed for. :)

I had previously bought a stitch counter, which looks identical to the small one in this set, but it's not. When I tried to use it, on my 2.75mm and 3.25mm knitting needles, which I normally use, it just slid off. It does however fit on my 4.00mm needles, but I don't use those very often. I couldn't find anything different locally.

I'm glad I decided to buy this set the smaller counter fit's all 3 sizes of knitting needles, I just mentioned, and my 5.00mm needles. The larger counter also fits on my 5.00mm and 6.50mm needles, it's a bit of a push on the last one. This set works with all the needles I use. It's very rare for me to use needles larger than 5.00mm, the larger sizes never get used, but I tried the counters on them for this review.

The large counter fits on my 6.50mm and 7.50mm knitting needles, but not my 10.00mm needles I recently bought for a project. That's OK though, I decided not to do it! I'm very happy with the stitch counters. Now I don't have to keep track of my rows and stitches by writing them down on paper.

I'm learning how to crochet. The smaller counter fits on most of the smaller crochet hooks, starting from 1.00mm, but when you get to size 3.75mm and 4.25mm, niether of the 2 counters will fit. The large counter will fit 5mm up to the largest size in the set 6.50mm with a bit of a shove.

These counters arrived quickly. They do the job, but the numbers do not click into place like my Boye counters. In fact, if I'm not careful, the counter will change count. So these are A-OK if you treat them gently.
