Fiskars Heidi Grace Designs Punchboard Shapes Box Sets Baby Journal Reviews
Shame on me for not paying attention to the product dimensions. Each cardboard sheet is 6x6 inches so many of the journaling squares are only about 1.5 inches in width. The journaling lines on "circles" and "mounts" are printed so close together that keeping your handwriting in the lines is extremely difficult unless your handwriting is really tiny. When I bought these, I had planned to use them to record memories and stories. Unfortunately, they are so small they will probably only be used for brief labeling of photographs. Furthermore, some of the images on the "accents" page are so small that it is hard to tell what they are. On the plus side, the cardboard seems very durable and the pastel colors are pretty. If you are only looking to label photographs with a year or name these should work just fine. Don't expect to do any real journaling though!

I have several sets of soft pastels and pastel pencils. I like to do fine detailed work.
These sticks are harder than my handmade pastels and therefor useful for doing details like fur, hair, or eyes when painting human or pet portraits or grass and tree trunks when doing landscapes. I can get a very hard line by breaking them, in fact, much better than my pencils. I like the broad array of colors as well. This has become my "go-to" box. I think the value is very good, but I would also invest in a softer, creamier brand to supplement this set.

very usefull. Many colours, small size. I sugest not to mix so many and various colours,in one box. I prefers more variations of less colours. For example, a box with variations of browns, greens and skin colours and obviously b&w. Another box with blues, greys, and another with more fantasy colours.Best Deals for Faber Castell Set of 72 Half Stick Pastels

Bought this airbrush for $60 during the Cyberweek madness. It's been very very good to me, allowing me to basecoat a ton of miniature wargaming figures for Warmachine, 40K and the like.
Only downside is that the bowl is a little too small, since it also has to work with the provided bottles, while the bottles seem to need more pressure than I want to use in most cases.
I also just sent this in for service. Despite the mistake being all mine, and admitting to such, Badger fixed it, and sent it back free of charge. Definitely a company that stands behind their products.
I had absolutely no problem getting used to the dual action lever. It was like I had used it all my life. Very intuitive. Three or four test sprays and I was off to the races.
I was doing detail work on seven theatrical flats these things are each the size of a sheet of plywood, and there were seven of them! I painted all over these flats in multiple colors (I'm glad I had also ordered a box of a dozen extra paint bottles). This brush could handle whatever I threw at it. My index finger cramped up a couple of times after hours of spraying I figured out how to work the lever with my thumb with good results. The width of the spray is controlled mainly by the distance to the workpiece. I could easily spray pencil-thin up to about two inches wide. Any further and the results are not very well defined (which can sometimes be good).
My old brush would constantly clog (the paint would dry at the tip of the atomizer nozzle if I didn't spray for a couple of minutes), and I had to adjust the height of the atomizer nozzle every time I changed paints (because they would never be the same viscosity). It was usually trial and error to get the height correct (mostly error). This brush doesn't even HAVE an adjustment it just works with whatever you put in it. It will even spray latex paint unthinned, but not as well as mixing in a little water.
The only time it clogged was when I sprayed some old paint that had some gloopy bits. The brush is not really designed for easy cleaning. You can clean the nozzle easily enough, but not the part between the hose connector and the nozzle (where the gloopy bits of paint got stuck). I had to soak it in that stuff that you use to clean dried latex paint off of paintbrushes and then spray some of that stuff through the brush. It has never clogged when I was spraying clean paint.
When using it in gravity-feed mode you don't use a bottle you put paint directly into that little cone-shaped cup (usually with an eyedropper). It doesn't hold much, and you will go through it pretty quickly if you use much air.
My only complaint is that the paint bottles are glass. I was forced to make an exception to my "no glass allowed in my garage" rule. Using clear PET plastic would make more sense.
Having a set of cleaning brushes will make cleanup a lot faster especially cleaning the tube that feeds the paint from the jar. It takes a long time to wash paint out if you are just running water through it. Since you only have one of those tube/lids, you will clean it a lot if you are spraying multiple colors (as I was doing). Cleaning brushes will make that job take seconds instead of minutes. You might be able to get by with pipe cleaners. The airbrush itself is easily cleaned by just spraying water (which is driven at a much higher pressure).
What a fantastic tool! Expensive and worth it!

Way too expensive for what you actually get. I understand american girl stuff is often overpriced (we live near the Manhattan store and shop there regularly) yet usually it seems worth it with how well everything made. Not this! Review of Amazing GOOP® Automotive Epoxy Paste 4 oz Kit
I used this back in the day when it was "SuperWeld" and nothing has changed but the packaging, which is 100% better. It comes with an A&B which you have to mix in the supplied "dixie" cup using one of the two freezer pop sticks. It's a one to one mixture so it's super easy to use. You mix it VERY thoroughly and it'll start getting warm. Slather it on and let it sit for a couple of hours so it can harden.
I used this to rebuild some broken plastic tabs on my car. I put it on super thick and then drilled it out. It couldn't have worked better. To replace the broken part on my car would have take several hours due to the disassembly/assembly process, so this REALLY was a life saver.
This product is a bit more viscous than other products, so if you need something super thick like putty, this isn't the product for you. I'd say it's slightly more viscous than toothpaste.
I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Reviews of Old Masters Brush Set- 8 White Nylon Bristle Brushes
These brushes are not super soft but they are nicely pliable. There's a combo of flat and round brushes with a good range in sizes for each. They are pleasingly shaped and maintain their shape surprisingly well while painting. While there is a little splitting of the tip that won't allow for micro-detailed work on smaller canvases, for the price and quality of these brushes I would say this is a great buy. Use it as a starting point, or an addition to your set. If you're a beginner artist, this is perfect with the addition of a few higher quality brushes for the details.
These are VERY long handled brushes, which is not evident in the picture. If you like longer handles, you will really enjoy these I found it to be really nice! They do stain a bit and are hard to keep super white, but I haven't found this to affect my colors while painting.
Set contains:
Round #4 Flat #4
Round #6 Flat #8
Round #7 Flat #12
Round #9 Flat #20
I use these for painting with acrylic paints. I use a mild soap and warm water to clean them. They do stain given that they are white nylon, but that doesn't affect the colors while painting. Would recommend.

I use these for acrylic and oil painting. Great Brushes! Well worth the money. The fibers stay together even with the heavy paint giving you very clean edges. Also no shedding! The only issue I had was keeping them completely white as the color stains them, but it doesn't leach into the new color you are painting with. Also, FYI the handle is painted silver wood, not metal. That wasn't really an issue for me though. Great Product!Best Deals for Old Masters Brush Set- 8 White Nylon Bristle Brushes

This is a nice brush set, and hold their shape very well. The handles are very long, and the brush area is much bigger than the picture shows. I originally purchased these to use as an extra set for medium to fine detailing, they are too large for that. However, they are quite useful for larger painting areas.Set contains:

Xyron 24139 Design Runner Handheld Cordless Printer Reviews
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $99.99

I ordered this Design Runner as a surprise gift for my mom. Well we were surprised all right! We expected it to be a portable handheld computer that you can design your own fonts (like journaling on the computer)Come to find out, it doesn't work that way unless you buy the extension pack for it which is another $50.00. Also it's difficult to get the thing to go in a straight line, and forget about doing turns with it-again only works that way if you order the extra add on packs. When we rcvd ours, the black ink cartridge that came with it did not work. My mom had to go out right away and buy another $40.00 ink cartridge just to get the machine to work. When we called the company about it, they were a major pain in the you know what. Customer service for Xyron is terrible. I was actually surprised at how bad they treated me on the phone, after staying on hold for 30 minutes, and going through four different customer service people. Finally a month later after complaining repeatedly they sent us a new ink cartridge. I said I was surprised with the lousy service, because I own a bunch of Xyron products, and I've never had a problem with any of them before this. I had a strong faith in the Xyron name. Well I guess they just produced a seriously bad lemon on the scrapbook market. Also-my mom has carpal tunnel in her wrist, and this machine is heavy, and difficult to push across the paper and hold the print button at the same time. The ink smeared and the font packs are expensive. I tried it over and over, thinking it was a user error on my part, and nope. The thing is just stinky. I could see how this item would make sense if you only used it for card making, but my mom and I are professional scrap bookers, and it is useless for a page bigger than 6x6. (Or greeting card size.) I personally don't have wrist problems, and the whole next day (after using this product for about 10 minutes the previous day), my wrist hurt. Over all I could not believe the expense of this product with all the add ons, and font packages, and carry case, not to mention the "special" ink cartridges you have to buy for it. Unfortunately I did not buy this item from Amazon, but from another on line scrapbook store, and the store owner, would not give me a refund after spending about $250.00 for the over all package. It's been six months and I haven't used it since we first got it, and I have no desire to ever pick it up ever again. Why put myself through the frustration all over again? I've been trying to unload it since I got it, and I can't send it back to the online store. None of my friends want to buy it from me, and for what I paid I would have to ask at least $50.00. Heck I can't even give this thing away! I hate myself for falling into the whole "I've never tried the product but it looks good from the website" deal. Bottom line-it's a piece of junk. Don't waist your time.-Stick with your at-home printer if you want to journal or title pages in a professional type-font. Item is sooo not worth the hassle. Maybe I can sell it on EBay, to some non-suspecting poor soul.

I sent this back. Not worth the money. It doesn't start writing until halfway across the paper, and it isn't anything I couldn't do on my printer already. Not worth the investment.Best Deals for Xyron 24139 Design Runner Handheld Cordless Printer
I acquired my Design Runner via a garage sale, so I only spent $10 on the whole kit, including the accessory pack and a starter pack of ink and 2 discs. I am pretty disappointed with the whole thing, and am looking to sell it off on E Bay right now. In a nutshell, although it can begin printing where you want it if you line up the crosshairs (and read the directions, as some other posters have noted), there is still no way to end the line of print within the paper and not risk cutting off some of your printed images (if you use the repeat image command, not the single image command), which you would use for a border. The printer is hard to keep straight, although the straight edge ruler in the accessory kit does help in that regard. However, using the arc and italics tools from the accessory kit causes the image to be distorted and sometimes the ink smears. I have used this Design Runner on a couple of projects and had to make several practice runs on similar pieces of paper before I tried it on my scrapbook pages, and even then I wasn't happy. The only way I would consider using it again would be 1) as a single image, or 2) on a separate piece of paper, which I would cut out and glue to my page. It really isn't worth the bother, and I certainly wouldn't have bought it new! (I already sunk in $40 worth of ink cartridges). Stay away from this!Honest reviews on Xyron 24139 Design Runner Handheld Cordless Printer

I love this. It does take a bit of playing with to get the hang of it but it is great. I love the fact that I can write in shapes and (with the disk maker) make my own sayings. This is just such a fun "toy" for card making and scrapbooking.
