Plaid Folk Art Enamel Beginner Set, 2-Ounce Bottle Review

Customer Ratings:

I bought this kit to create painted wine glasses. The glasses turned out great and the paint was really easy to use. I baked the glasses for 30 minutes at 350 and they are dishwasher safe now. I'm really happy with the purchase. Much cheaper than buying them individually.

Cheap Copic Markers 12-Piece Basic Set

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $83.88
Sale Price: $62.91

While it may not have a ton of colors, this is a good set to get you started with using Copic markers. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I've come to realize I'm not a huge fan of the chisel tips, and would've preferred the super brush tips instead (which can be found with the 12-piece Basic Sketch Set). So, if you like big chisel tip markers, these are definitely for you. Otherwise, go with the Sketch Set (http://www.amazon.com/Copic-Markers-12-Piece-Sketch-Basic/dp/B000MRR3GU/ref=pd_luc_qp_03_04_t_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

This cartridge is beautiful. The baby characters are so cute!!! However, there are very few of them. Most likely the cartridge is a font set. It arrived super fast and in excelent conditions.

When this arrived the top of the box had popped apart at the joints. No nails or brads had been used in construction. I had to take off the hinges and re-glue the top. Disappointing but the set as a whole was a very good beginner set. A lot of brushes. nice pallet, and good array of paint colors. Made a nice gift.

I was wracking my brain for a Secret Santa gift for my uncle. He's an art teacher and a wonderful artist so I wanted to get him something along this avenue. I came across this item in a last-ditch effort to find something he would use over and over again. Boy did I get lucky! He was immediately thrilled when he opened the box to see a set of quality paints and brushes in a nice, compact carrying case. I paired this with some canvas paper and he began drawing the second he opened the box. I was very surprised by the quality of the products inside, especially for the price. None of the paints were dried out, the apron actually felt like an apron, and the brushes weren't shedding every two seconds. I highly recommend this for everyone from the hobby artist to the traveling pro.

Discount Lion Brand Yarn Cable Needles, Set of 2

Customer Ratings:

These can be a little clunky, not in width, wish we could find really wide width cable needles, but they are clunky because they flip flop and make it a little harder to not flip your cable stitches. These are not a preferred cable needle, but will keep them as a backup to my rounded hook shape ones.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

My instructor recommended this style of cable needle as opposed to the hook style (which seem to come in plastic vs metal). The slick surface has both advantages and drawbacks. It's easy to slip your cable stitches onto the needle, but they also easily fall off it. Similarly, the straight style is good for working with the stitches once they're on the needle, but I might try the hook variety to keep the stitches from sliding before I'm ready to knit them. I'm a new knitter, obviously, so maybe these are things you get more accustomed to with practice.

Best Deals for Lion Brand Yarn Cable Needles, Set of 2

These are useful, not just for knitting cables, but also for picking up that dratted dropped stitch. A standard design that has worked well for decades.

Honest reviews on Lion Brand Yarn Cable Needles, Set of 2

I would recommend this product to other knitters. I am new to kntting and was learning how to do the cable stitch. or the small cable that I was doing these did the trick. They are sturdy and they come in two different sizes. I finished my project and it turned out fabulous

I love using metal for my knitting and these needles are perfect for me. They slide without being too slippery and hold the extra stitches perfectly.

Great way to do underpainting when using pastels. Easy to apply, less dust beautiful color

I had heard about the pan pastels, but never used them or saw them used. I discovered that they are easy to use, and the pastels are in clear containers that protect them, yet you can easily see the color at a glance. They are easily to use and the pastel stays long, without too much dust. You can tone an area quickly and then go over with more detail.

I am having a ball playing with my new Pan Pastels. They arrived quickly, all in one piece, none were broken. I"m thrilled!

Honest reviews on Panpastel Ultra Soft Artist Pastel Landscape Set

Probably the best medium I have used. Coverage is easy to control, the colors stay even, and the variety of hues is very good too.

My son used this to make claymation videos. He had a lot of fun with it, but it's a little hard to use because it's stiff. It's a lot like Fimo or Sculpey.

Buy Artist Sketching Kit with Sketch Paper Strathmore 400 Series

Customer Ratings:

This is a great set for the beginner or college student and the price was amazing! I deducted 1-star only for the packing: The box was just a tad too short and the pad was so snug against the side it warped a bit. It's with my daughter at college, so I don't know if it has relaxed and straightened.

I'm impressed with the array of French curves. They aren't heavy-duty like the ones I used drafting eons ago, but are excellent for their intended drawing purpose. The Strathmore paper is a brand and kind my daughter likes and I have no opinion about since I don't draw. And I can't review the pencils -I'm pretty picky and haven't tried them to know -but they're an added bonus to the whole package. I'm very pleased with the purchase and fast shipping.

Iwata Airbrush Parts quick-fit disconnect male adapter Review

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $6.60

These things are proving to be difficult to find. Of course, I have a couple already, and they work great. The issue is with a merchant who lists them here.

Said merchant (appears to be the main merchant for them in the Amazon Marketplace) took my order, but sat on it for approx. 10 days w/o any indication they intended to fulfill the order. Both ship date and estimated delivery date came and went without any action by the merchant.

So, I cancelled the Amazon Marketplace order (they processed the cancellation promptly, much more responsive than the actual order), and ordered directly from another vendor. We will see if they arrive.

Be advised.

I don't know how I did without these all those years. I used to have a dozen hoses hooked to a manifold. They got tangled all the time.

I wanted a quick connect on both ends of my airbrush hose. Since I already had an extra female end I didn't want to buy another set and have another extra part laying around. This male adapter was a good match to the female that I already had.

buy these for all your airbrushes, you only need one complete set to change out fast.cuts down on wasted paint having more than one going at a time.

Review of Beadalon Stringing Wire 19-Strand .015-Inch (.38-Millimeter)

Customer Ratings:

These three wires are perfect if you want to make illusion necklaces. I like to use multiple strands and have used all three of these to make some pretty cool items. The wire isn't reflective, which I like, and is very easy to work. It seems pricey, but when you consider that it's three rolls of the best wire available, dropping the cash is very easy.

Comfortable to hold, and when given proper attention (cleaning it after use, and keeping the bristles conditioned) it will last a long time, and always return to a point.

I have been using this brush with every miniature I have painted for 9 months, and it still works properly.

If you are on the fence, give it a shot. You will never return to a synthetic again.

Buy Create Your Own Vintage Soap Pump Kits with Galvanized Lid- 2 Sets

Customer Ratings:

I was happy when they arrived and i put them together, but after a week of use the lids have started to corrode already. They stated in the description that they tend to rust, but I figured they would last longer than a week! Maybe they should be coated with something to protect them.
