Discount Lion Brand Yarn Cable Needles, Set of 2

Customer Ratings:

These can be a little clunky, not in width, wish we could find really wide width cable needles, but they are clunky because they flip flop and make it a little harder to not flip your cable stitches. These are not a preferred cable needle, but will keep them as a backup to my rounded hook shape ones.

My instructor recommended this style of cable needle as opposed to the hook style (which seem to come in plastic vs metal). The slick surface has both advantages and drawbacks. It's easy to slip your cable stitches onto the needle, but they also easily fall off it. Similarly, the straight style is good for working with the stitches once they're on the needle, but I might try the hook variety to keep the stitches from sliding before I'm ready to knit them. I'm a new knitter, obviously, so maybe these are things you get more accustomed to with practice.

These are useful, not just for knitting cables, but also for picking up that dratted dropped stitch. A standard design that has worked well for decades.

Honest reviews on Lion Brand Yarn Cable Needles, Set of 2

I would recommend this product to other knitters. I am new to kntting and was learning how to do the cable stitch. or the small cable that I was doing these did the trick. They are sturdy and they come in two different sizes. I finished my project and it turned out fabulous

I love using metal for my knitting and these needles are perfect for me. They slide without being too slippery and hold the extra stitches perfectly.

I own these dies and they are excellent. I use them with the Big Shot machine. I can't think of anything negative to say about them. They're great for cards, scrapbooks, mini albums or any paper project you're working on

I used this multiple times since the purchase and it is still going strong. It makes clean cut shapes. The die cuts at made of thin metal but they are strong and do not bend.

Nice results but trying to still get the hang of it and how many spacers etc to use. I would hightly recommend you practice, practice, practice. I still don't always get it correct which is frustrating for me.

Honest reviews on Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles Die Template

Love this Die, but I can not get clean cuts with my Big Shot. I follow all the You Tube instructions and I also have to put extra volume to may cutting sandwich.

I ordered the Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles Die Template in large and used one of the dies tonight. They do as they say they will do. I still need to play around some more and see what else I can do w/them. I'm not sure what the difference is between the large and small. But this is my first Spellbinders Nestabilities set and I love it.

The size is fine but these spacers are wafer thin and some of them are warped because of their thinness. Some of the holes in the design are occluded so they don't look as lacey as pictured. I used them to make bracelets with 15mm beads they looked nice.

Good for leather. Heavy duty.

I used them on a t shirt which was tricky because they would leave a whole in the shirt so if you put the stud in the wrong spot you could not move it. Also because they are probably made for leather a couple have fell off. I just put them back on ( in the same holes). I don't recommend using them on light weight fabrics but they are very nice studs for leather or thicker material.

I've searched everywhere for a sheet protector worthy of my scrapbook pages. I finally found it here with these awesome sheet protectors! Super clear, heavy-duty and the pocket is over sized, so I don't have to cut down my pages.

Reviews of Gutermann - Elastic Thread 11 Yards

Customer Ratings:

I bought an elastic thread by another brand at my local Jo-anns. It was terrible, not stretchy, and would separate very easily, super frustrating I had to rip everything back out. I have always preferred Gutermann threads, and this elastic thread is no exception. It is a far higher quality, with FAR less breakage and most important of all, it's not frustrating like other brands. I will only ever buy this brand of elastic thread.

this item was ordered but never sent. I did receive the Floral compass patern but not this one. There was not a packing slip or any indication that the Ivory Butterflies would be backordered and sent at a later date. Sounds like Supermart, the seller, doesn't know what it's doing.

Spellbinders Flower Pots Review

These die cut pots are awesome and larger than expected. The only problem is there are no directions on how to get them to look like those pictured. The metal dies are elongated and do not look like the image. After studying the picture and the die cuts I made for long, disappointed hours, I FINALLY realized I needed to cut off the top of the pot where there is an indentation, flip it over and attach it separately to the bottom. NOWHERE is this explained! I realized this by the odd shape of the top ridge of the pot when looking really close. Ultimately, these are great and look wonderful with textured cardstock. The large one is too big to fit on a cardfront and I probably will not use it.

Love this die. It is very simple to turn into that starbucks cup. I have made several cards using this die as a cup.

I love this die. I have used it several time on my greeting cards. One can make beautiful, colorful flower arrangements on cards!

I was so excited to order these then... disappointed when they arrived. They do not cut like the picture on the packaging. There is not a center embossed line so really the pot looks like a rectangle with tiny indents at the sides. I do not know how they took those pictures using the dies. I returned mine.

Review of Crayola 16ct Colored Oil Pastel Sticks

I had these as a kid and so did my Mom; We both remember playing with them all these years later! Bought these for my 6 year-old brother and he loves them!! He likes the way they smear and blend into each other. Different textures of papers give a different effect. They do get all over his fingers, (because they are so soft), and he has a tendency to wipe them against his shirt and pants without thinking, so we put old stained clothes on him to avoid the staining to his good duds. I would stay on a table with these for that reason also; down on the floor on the carpet is not the place for these! But all-in-all I would highly recommend these be bought for every kid at least once in their childhood...they are just that much fun!!

My 6 year old artist adores these. The colors are bright and vivid. You really can tell a huge difference in things drawn with these versus regular crayons. However, I would not suggest them for a younger child as they are oil and pretty messy. Even once on paper they will rub off.

I am trying to teach my godchild how to use pastel , since she loves to do art work, the pastel is so cool, you can do art and get your fingers dirty at the same time!!!!! makes very beautiful art work to frame

As an art product these are very nice. They were bought to complete a project started years ago and couldn't find pastels to match when the originals were gone, these seem to be working and I'm excited the mural will get finished now.

At first i thought the 5 inch squares were too small , but as I looked at patterns and laid out the pieces they will be perfect. The fabric was cut nicely , didn't feel like I got leftover pieces or scraps. Perfect for a quilt . My sons all wanted the quilt. Pretty yet not too feminine.

I purchase about 500$ worth of oil painting supplies and I got 2 of these with that package. The clips that hold it down are decent but they take about an inch away from the painting. On such a small canvas (8x11) you lose a lot of canvas space.

The only thing this is good for is kids really. But not with OIL paint though! Unless you have gallons of paint remover or furniture that you want to throw away.

The legs that this is on need to be screwed or bolted down to a surface if you want to actually put pressure behind your brush. If not, it falls backwards or you have to hold the base down the whole time you paint.

Buy the FULL SIZED aluminum stand and you can still clip down small canvases or large 3 foot ones too. Also the aluminum ones collapse just as small as this one.

I paint and I've sold works for a couple hundred dollars here and there. This is just a crappy item that I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

No pros. Even the paint has a grainy texture to it. The wooden palette stains and holds old paint. Buy the 2$ plastic palette and you can use white without getting a tinge from the colors soaked in the wood. GOOD LUCK!

My kids attend a school that expects dozens of hand-made crafts from each family for our annual holiday fair fundraiser. There are years that I'm ready for this and feel confident in what I've created... and then there was this year!

I was able to string these cute, woollen beads onto coordinating colors of embroidery floss to make little necklaces to donate to our school. I already had the floss (free from my mother-in-law), so the cost of this bag of "beads" divided by number of beads in the package meant a cost of about $0.50 per donated item--well within my budget.

The colors were very attractive.

The beads felt like real wool, though I didn't try a burn test or anything to test if they really were.

Most balls had a hole through them already, but a few required me to punch through with a fat needle to string my necklaces. This was easy to do.

Reviews of Prang Ready to Use Liquid Tempera Paint, 32 Ounce Bottle, Yellow

Customer Ratings:

This is just what it says it is. A large bottle of tempera paint. My only complaint is that 1 of the 3 bottles I bought leaked so I recommend that you purchase the paints separate from anything else so it doesn't ship with other stuff as mine did.

Used for a college ministry retreat to paint on plastic. While this took some effort it did work. We didn't expect our "creations" to last and they didn't as the paint flaked off after it dried.

Discount Remind Me Clearly Stamps-

I use these on my calendar when I schedule. Love clear stamps so that I can place them right where I want them. My complaint is that clear stamps just do not give you a clean, crisp image like hard rubber stamps do.
