I really need shoulder pads. These helped so much with a jacket I wanted to wear. Pads just balance your shoulders in relation to your hips. They can make an outfit be most becoming. It is hard to find large shoulder pads so I was very glad to be able to order them. Definitely would recommend. Good price too.

These fabric charm squares are really nice! The colors are just as pictured, and the designs are suitable for boy or girl, I think. Especially if other fabrics are used in combination with them. The quality is first rate, of course. The weight and feel is very nice--very smooth and soft to the touch. Shipping was quick and, more importantly to me, shpping was covered by Amazon Prime. (Is there anyone we can complain to about high shipping charges???:-)

This tape is very cute with high quality texture but it doesn't stick as well as other washi tapes I bought from other manufactures. But although this one doesn't that sticky, it's still great for decorating papers and bottles.

Steel Gray a light medium tone no blue or brown cast true gray. Lighter companion is Folk Art "Light Gray". On projects I really don't have the time to mix color from scratch, these two work well together, blend well. Very good paint not thin. Order from Amazon and it saves a trip to the Art or Craft store to find there is NO STOCK once you get there.

These are fun to do both in your own fine line markers or the included color pencils. You get 4 images printed on quality board suitable for framing once done, and a package of good quality color pencils. The numbers are clearly printed on the board, as well as on an included paper instructions sheet.

Dimensions brand is the best choice in pencil art if you also want to use markers instead of pencils, as the board quality is such that marker ink, even the washable kind, work very well with it. The marker ink won't run on it like it will with other cheaply made pencil art kits found at your neighborhood craft store. I use markers because it makes the artwork 'pop', plus makes it more challenging, and I save the pencils that came with the kit for use on other crafts.

These also make great gifts for pre-teens and teens. The highly detailed images would be very difficult for younger children.

A great value! These kits provide hrs and hrs of concentrated fun...even for me, and I'm 42 :)

The picture shows a fairly detailed amount of shading with the colors. HOWEVER, the shading is achieved by BLENDING -with PENCILS. There were only 10 (yes ten) colored pencils total and a grey and black short pencil in the one I bought. this is more of a dollar tree item than the 4.79. I was disappointed.

I bought an elastic thread by another brand at my local Jo-anns. It was terrible, not stretchy, and would separate very easily, super frustrating I had to rip everything back out. I have always preferred Gutermann threads, and this elastic thread is no exception. It is a far higher quality, with FAR less breakage and most important of all, it's not frustrating like other brands. I will only ever buy this brand of elastic thread.

It is an OK pen set but won't last you a lifetime, 6 to 8 months at best, depending on your patience level. Best performance is when you use cartridges, converter is usless, leaks, and has to be primed by dipping it in the ink well to get the flow going, make sure you have a bar of Lava soap near by for clean up. I would not spend a great deal of money on the Classic or next set up. They both perform but only after much work. But I keep coming back for more since I cannot find a decent Calligrapy pen that you can pick up and write with immediately, but then I prefer an ink well and a good converter or just a regular ink fill pen like Parker use to put out. For a low price I guess you will not be disappointed, just a little messy.

I use these markers for coloring and stamping hand-carved rubber stamps. I bought this set for the 2 colors of orange it includes. I have used this brand of markers for several years for this purpose, carrying them around in a backpack and leaving them in hot cars many times. They have continued to work really well, with no drying out. I would absolutely recommend them for rubber stamping.

I bought two sets of these needles. It took a while to get to me, but they arrived safely and complete. I have used size 7 and 6 so far. I'm very pleased with how they perform. The wire is flexible and has some sort of coating over it. Stitches slide across the cable and needles easily. Overall, these would be a great asset to knitters of any level.

Bamboo Crochet Hooks 10 sizes F-N Reviews

These are a good basic crochet hook, with a decently shaped end that catches the yarn satisfactorily, although I had some trouble with the yarn splitting as I finished stitches. (To be fair, the yarn I'm working with right now splits easily.) I received 10 hooks (not 5 like another reviewer) and like the feel of the bamboo. However, when I first tried them the surface was a little tacky (sticky?) and the yarn didn't slide as smoothly as I'd like. We put a light coat of urethane on them (have a spray gun for some construction we're doing out back) and that helped the situation. I still prefer my Susan Bates metal hooks, as they slide easily, catch the yarn firmly, and rarely split. If you like crocheting at a nice sedate pace, and/or prefer the feel of bamboo to the feel of metal, these would do just fine.

This is a great set of crochet hooks for the price. They are quite comfortable to hold, are a good weight, and seem to be well constructed.

However, purchasers should be aware that the product description is not accurate. You only receive 5 hooks, ranging in sizes 5.5mm 9mm (US I-M). The picture does show the five hooks you get, but the description indicates that you will get "12 PCs bamboo crochet hooks 2.75mm-10.0 mm". Despite this, I still feel that these hooks are worth the price. A minor annoyance is that the US sizes are NOT laser printed with the metric size, but that can be easily remedied by writing it on each hook with a permanent marker for easy reference.

Even with these two complaints, I think the product itself still deserves a four-star rating.

Metal and plastic crochet hooks can't compare to the feel of bamboo crochet hooks. These are awesome. I've been looking for bamboo hooks for a long time and was happy to find them here. I hope Oriental Touch will at some time carry other sizes of bamboo hooks. I'd definitely purchase more.

I'm new at crocheting. The only other hook I tried before was a Boye brand one then I bought this set. When using the Boye one I keep accidently catching the loops I'm trying to go through, splitting the yarn etc. Using these hooks which are shaped a little differently that never happens so I like these better.

Got these recently and I love them so far! Much warmer, and MUCH lighter than the similar metal hooks that I've been using for years. I wish I had bought these sooner. They are really smooth, but might occasionally have a small spot that is rough, but so far, after using 3 different sizes, no catches or snags. Rubbing wax paper will smooth them out if they start to get rough. Some of them were slightly warped, but none were broken. Warping is expected with a natural product at such a tiny diameter, but it does not detract from the usefulness of the smaller sizes.

One thing though, keep an eye on them, or hide them from the pets as they have a familiar 'wooden stick' odor, and the dog (our adult anyway) had an inclination to steal them off my workspace and start chewing them. Luckily I caught her soon enough that she didn't do any damage. (PHEW!) I have these needles, the crochet hooks, and the 9" DPN's all in carbonized finish.

I would absolutely buy from this seller again, the product came from upper-mid-west to New England in less than a week with super saver shipping, and they were packed fairly well.

I am a novice knitter. These needles are a great value and make a good starter set. Having all of the sizes readily available has enabled me to take on projects I otherwise wouldn't have attempted.

Description

There are 15 pairs of bamboo needles. The sizes are clearly etched onto the side of each needle. Each pair of needles comes individually packaged, making it easy to keep track of them.

Quality

I have used needles sizes 4-13 with cotton, acrylic, and cotton blend yarns. The needles are smooth, lightweight and comfortable to use. They initially felt delicate compared to metal needles, but are actually very sturdy. Even the smaller sizes hold up well under the weight of a project.

The needles have good traction, but at the same time the yarn moves easily when I want it to. Rubbing them with oil makes it even easier to slide the yarn along the needle. As noted in some of the other reviews, the needles aren't perfectly straight-many have a slight bow shape to them. However, this is a purely cosmetic issue. I haven't found that the curve affects the finished product at all.

The needle tips are more rounded than pointed and taper slowly, which I like. I have used them with stockinette, ribbed, and basic lace patterns and find the taper gives me more room to work, making it easier to perform complicated stitches and keep my tension even.

Overall, I've been very pleased with this purchase and would buy them again.

These knitting needles were a big disappointment. The ends are fairly blunt, which makes it hard for newbie knitter like me to get them through the loops. Also, at least one pair has splinters at the tip! I could easily get a splinter if I wasn't careful.
