The markers worked nicely, but I used them to decorate plates with and then baked them as directions stated.....and it still was water soluable and stratched off with the slightest scrap

These markers were used to paint on mugs and seemed to keep their color well for the first few days, then after the mugs were washed once or twice, they began to smudge and smear and were completely ruined.

These are great to use on many surfaces. They do require 2 coats to look right, but that is expected with most paint. The color came out great and evenly. I would recommend this to almost everyone, including kids that would like top decorate something like a bird house or other small project. Probably would work on shoes too....

The 'artist set' came quickly and as described from Amazon. That is why I gave it two stars; however, the quality just isn't there.

I found several concerns to keep in mind:

*contents spill out when opening the wood box

*charcoal pencils break too easy when sketching and sharpening

*estimated costs of similar items without the wood box and instruction booklet is very low

*12 colored pencils can be purchased for $1

*sketchbook is small

I really enjoy finding items that qualify for free shipping but this item is clearly overpriced.

Everything in the box worked great, and the product was the only thing that I WAS concerned with. The nice little box that came with it was warped so badly that there was a deep bend or molding problem with the box causing a large gap in the construction on the front. I would also like to add that it affected the working material in no way.

I used to work at a boutique that used similar mannequins for display, so I pretty much expected these to be kind of thin and flimsy like those were, especially since these were so much cheaper than what my boss paid for hers. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are incredibly superior to those. They are constructed of very durable plastic and are not flimsy in any degree. They conveniently stack inside each other for storage, and make clothes look very flattering, especially when you pin them in the back to fit the mannequin's form. I've loved this pattern of toggles but never saw them in anything except silver plated. these are so beautiful, they almost act as a centerpiece of the necklace and make it so much easier to put on and take off, esp if you're by yourself. their price was ok, but on the whole, the aesthetics of it make up for the slight price bump. really makes any necklace or bracelet, giving it a classy finishing touch.

So far the brushes are working well, but the handles are really short. I wanted short ones because some brush handles get really long, but I wasn't expecting how short they are.

The brushes themselves are well constructed and the brushes aren't losing hairs. they are very secure.

I knew this when ordering them from reading past reviews, but I'd like to emphasize that these brushes are *very* tiny. Good for detail work (which is what I bought them for), but the fanned brush is just a bit wider than my thumbnail. They're not very big. I actually bought an extra size 0 brush in case one of the brushes included in this set wasn't small enough for what I wanted to do, but I really didn't need to do that. All in all, they're what I ordered and I'll edit this review later after I've used them to rate whether they work well enough for the price.

I use the easel daily. Love it. The paints, not so much. I prefer working with the paints from my other sources instead of these. They are a little too thick for my acrylic tastes. The palette is wood, so I'm afraid of ruining it, and warping it, so I don't use it. The brushes are great, pointy brushes. Definitely worth the price.

I was very pleased with my purchase of this kit, it was exactly as advertised. I would say it's good for anyone who at least knows the basics of cross stitching. There was nothing terribly complicated, each ornament took me about a week to complete. The kit gives you more than enough thread to complete your project, and has it's own thread organizer, which i thought was a nice touch. The instructions were very clear, it was not hard to attach the chains and finishing touches. The only thing i thought would be a good thing to include, which it didn't come with, would be some felt or material to sew to the backs of the ornaments, so that the back of the work doesn't show. Unless you're really good, the back probably doesn't want to be seen. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, it made great Christmas gifts.
