I used to work at a boutique that used similar mannequins for display, so I pretty much expected these to be kind of thin and flimsy like those were, especially since these were so much cheaper than what my boss paid for hers. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are incredibly superior to those. They are constructed of very durable plastic and are not flimsy in any degree. These look great on jean shorts! One thing I noticed is that they tarnished after I bleached shorts, but I think any studs with nickel finish will do that. Will buy again!

they came quickly, were in good condition, and were and affordable price. I got exactly 100 studs and they look great on the shorts that I studded. to be honest, I wasn't exactly sure how big 3/8" was, so for those who are like me, it's smaller than a dime and about the size of my fingernail. I don't know if that size comparison helps much, but I hope it does. I would definitely recommend these studs for anyone that wants to add a little something extra to a piece of clothing

Master Airbrush Model G78 Single-Action Gravity Feed Air Abrasive Review

Delivery on this item was incredibly fast. Order placed on Thursday and my package arrived Saturday via FedEx.

Sandblaster tool is very well crafted. Light enough to control easily but heavy enough to not feel cheap. Plenty of control and modulation with a nice comfortable feel.

Comes with abrasive grit which works great for my glass etching needs. For larger areas you'll probably want something with a wider swath but i'm working with small areas which are masked off by vinyl stickers. Pinpoint precision at close rage with a max affective range of about 3" for a swath about 1/4" (at 65psi). You can get heavier grit for more aggressive blasting but the grit that came in the kit works just fine.

I ended up being very surprised with how well this little blaster kit works. "Virtually" plug and play.

I would give this a 5-star review however the kit does not offer any easy option (adapter) to connect to standard 1/4" NPT fittings (common air compressor fittings). I ended up searching my local hardware stores for an adapter for the end of the supplied hose and found nothing. Ended up cutting one end of the hose and using a 1/4" NPT to 1/8" barbed brass fitting with small zip ties to clamp the hose on. Not a big deal once everything was said and done but it would be nice of the supplier could offer or even recommend an adapter for the hose. Not a big fan of having to modify something right out of the box to get it to work but the tool works great so not a big loss.

Small air compressors are available to connect right to the supplied hose but if you're like any normal Joe with a basic garage you'll end up using your garage air compressor.

I recommend you get a brass 1/4 to 1/8 barbed fitting, a secondary regulator (40-65psi operating range 65psi max), and inline moisture trap. All that can be had for under 20$ but necessary for long-term use of this sand blaster.

Summary:

Great product, just not exactly plug and play. Highly recommended for small hobby tasks.

The air tool itself is decent. The kit is complete with everything you need to start air erasing once you get hooked up to your own compressor rig etc. For me, the only fitting that was useful was the end that fits the air tool itself. The rest of the process connecting the hose to my manifold was a fiasco. My other airbrush gear all uses different size connectors so I did not have any proper fittings laying around to complete this job. I had to hit the home center for some fittings. The moisture trap leaked air around the site glass on both sides. I am not sure what the thinking was with the site glass idea. I had to cut the hose off the moisture trap and replace the trap. Luckily I had a spare trap laying around so I fitted it up and was finally ready to blast. The instructions are adequate to get started, but you'll need to experiment for what works best for your application. Overall the value of this package is good for me, and the connection issues are common for anyone that owns gear from different manufacturers so I sort of expected that. The system is simple and easy to use so I would recommend it once your up and running.

I use this sandblaster to clean the battery terminals to a small toy. This blaster attaches to my 2 gal compressor and it does the job quickly. A light buffing is required after.

I store my seed beads in flip-top containers, and I find that the normal 6 x 4-inch storage boxes are just too small for the size of my bead collection. I used to be able to buy the larger 11x7-inch clear storage boxes from Skunk Grove Trading Post, but they've apparently gone out of business, so after looking high and low for a replacement, I found these wonderful Darice Interlock Organizers, which suit my purpose admirably. The Screen Printing Hobby Kit, by Ryonet Corporation is a great instructional product for the right price.

The DVD lessons on how screen printing works make this item a worthwhile investment. Having used and almost considered the Yudu, I decided to try this product after seeing their instructional approach.

You will need a few more things to get started. However, these are not hard to get. The product overall does what it promises very well. I was able to make great one color prints and the most time consuming task was the drying [Curing the water based ink].

The delivery was fast, the components were easy to assemble, and the instruction was exceptional.

Additional things you will need:

A rig to position the exposure light 18" from the frame [I made mine, but can purchase theirs]

A 16" x 18" transparent glass [The Home Depot has affordable pieces]

A Yellow light-bulb [The Home Depot has an affordable green bug light that worked for me]

A hot air gun [The Home Depot had few, buy yours here at Amazon]

A water hose [The first time I used my bathtub it worked great but you should use a hose for more control]

A printer [Nothing fancy but do print as dark as it is possible]

Shirts, [Other appropriate surfaces]

I recommend this product as a valuable instructional tool for the beginner screen printing enthusiast.

I have a 10 year group of friends that get together. We've paid to have shirts made before and it's wildly expensive. I thought I'd try it myself for a fraction of the cost.

Everything in the box is top notch. The screen itself was a beauty, I will be able to reuse it several times. I was able to produce over 50 shirts and still have the supplies to produce at least another 100 maybe even 200.

You will need to do some extra setup to actually use this kit. The main thing being finding something sturdy to attach the press arm and platform to, like the end of a table, or build something that will support them. But if you just want to mess around with some designs in your basement, this should do the trick.

This is a great way to get started but the best part is the video. It gets long but is packed with info. The owner does the video himself and is very detail oriented. He doesn't assume you know anything so every step is laid out. The product is solid and works well. It does take some careful work to get set up with exposing the screen but once you're there it's a blast.

I must disagree with the previous review. The reason why you would get scratches on your ink stone is because you didn't properly let the ink stick soak and soften before you began grinding. I have this set and had no problems with scratches. Of course everything is small, hence it is called a "mini" calligraphy set. For what it is and what it was meant to be, it is a very good product. Convenient little reservoir in the stone to collect the ink and the brush is way better quality than other cheap brushes you would see in calligraphy sets.

First of all, I bought this product knowing that it is not the best quality that I can buy. I bought it so that I can get a feel if I really want to get myself into calligraphy. Due to my artistic standards however, I am forced to look for other products because the quality of this product is very poor. I can see clearly that the ink stone was scratched by the ink stick after I washed it. Moreover, the ink stick hardly makes a black ink. The brush was okay, but it is very small. With that in mind, that makes the ink stone and ink stick super small. The product did accomplished in getting me into calligraphy, and because I know that I can be very picky about arts I will be nice and give it 2 stars. Then again, I am sure that a 4 year old would think it is pretty darn cool.

I love this tool and use it all the time at my community studio, and decided I wanted one of my own. It's a perfect extruder for decorative work. My advice is to always use very softbut not stickyclay to avoid killing your hands. It's really easy to clean with a pipe cleaner too.

These pens are exactly what I needed for new my love of embossing, there is a bullet pen for bold lines and a paintbrush pen for smoother strokes, I love the effect of embossing, and not always do I want to use a whole stamp for an effect. Great set!

These pens contain Ranger Perfect Medium, which I use when I am heat embossing. Having the product available in a pen form makes putting it where I want it easy and neat. It normally comes in pads, like ink pads, which works fine if you want to emboss an entire image, but sometimes you only want to emboss a portion of one, or you want to draw something and them emboss it, that is when you will find these pens invaluable! If you do a lot of heat embossing, these should certainly be a part of your supplies!
