Cheap 5 LBS Assorted Remnant Craft Felt & Assorted Cork Pieces
What a great idea to sell the remmenant scraps of felt in a huge bag. We have used them for innumerable crafting projects as well as dressing the "dollies" and just being creative. I think I will order another for my kids school! Bravo!

Review of Sanford(R) Prismacolor(R) Professional Art Markers, Primary
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $53.19
Sale Price: $29.36
Today's Bonus: 45% Off

As one of the top sellers in professional markers it stands by its word. I have used them over and over for rendering projects and each time they seem to be new. They never seem to die or go dry like most markers. Prismacolor is a very reliable marker to have on hand. The only draw back of this great product is the price. As you see sets are very expensive and single markers match that tone. But amazon does a good job of lower the bite of the price. Overall with price the prismacolor markers are well worth the dent in the pocket compared to what else is out there.
Brilliant colors are enclosed like those of a rainbow. The vivid hues and tints can easily be blended to create wondrous works of art. Thankfully, the colors advertised are the actual colors you will see form and come to life in your artwork.
Each marker is double-ended with one end having a fine tip and the other a broad tip. The fine tipped end lets me easily maneuver when I am working with elaborate details. The other end produces a line that can be broad, medium, or thin. These two different tips permit me to adapt much more smoothly to a variety of projects. This added bonus of four different line widths I've found to be an explicit advantage and the marker seems to know what I want to convey each time so my work is accurately depicted.
I've employed these markers on many different projects and they are as bold and useful as the first time they jumped out of the box. Their performance has never included drying out or problems with bleeding. Their high quality never fails to generate my desired result explicitly. Prismacolor is the top-seller of artistic markers and have proven to me that they are one of the best brands on the market.
Unfortunately, because of the elevated quality of Prismacolor markers, they can be very expensive at art supply stores. However, Amazon does contribute considerably by bringing the prices down to a level that is reasonable. These markers are well worth their price as they have demonstrated to me time and again.
I've been drawn to this brand as a firefly to light and would recommend this set to the professional artist or someone just starting out. Your creativity is limitless as they allow for any drawing to commence whole-heartedly. They have a variety of bright colors, have multiple line possibilities, and endure even the most extensive projects. I've used these markers in almost all of my artwork and I can visibly see the difference they've made which has brought my work to a whole new level of creativity.
Prismacolor PROs:
professional grade markers
two nibs allowing various line quality
most economical/cheap of the major professional marker brands, especially when bought in a set (around $2 per marker)
Prismacolor CONs:
in my opinion, dries too quickly and too much color saturation
Prismacolor markers seem to be the most color-centrated. Prismacolor markers dry much quicker and are much darker initially, and I find it a little harder to control the saturation of these markers and also the ability to blend these markers easily.I feel like these would be a good choice for comic book illustrators who are looking for strong bold colors, but for people who like to render in more subtle color, you should choose Copic or Chartpak.
I feel that in sets like this, it's actually a better choice to buy markers individually. Local art stores often have better deals than on Amazon, and being able to choose the colors you want is priceless. Some of the colors in this set are sometimes not right for what I want to render (and some of the browns are too dry looking), so I prefer to buy my markers individually (and with store coupons/membership cards, they can be under $2 a marker). For the price of this set, you could get an equal set of individual markers with colors of your own choosing. Remember to bring/buy marker paper to test the color of the markers, because the colors on the packages are often misleading.

As one of the top selling brands of artistic markers, this Prismacolor set has benefited my artwork through the vivid color assortment, multiple line width possibilities, and high performance of each marker. My mother is a professional artist and I've also begun to sell my artwork, which entails heavy use of this set. Constantly I receive comments on the colors and intricate details of my designs. Reviews of addi Click Interchangeable Knitting Needles Sets
The Addi Click Natura needle set is wonderful!
I have other brands of interchangable needles. My first set was the inexpensive Denise. The work fine, but the cords are too thick for magic loop knitting, where the excess cord sticks out. I have Knitpicks interchangables, and they have a very nice point for fine work, but they screw together. On some, the connection cannot be tighened enough to prevent loosening, and I really hate having to stop every row to tighten. It's really a mess when they come off mid-row. The Knitpicks cords are fine. The surface on the Knitpicks needles is smooth, but a bit sticky like paste wax and some yarns really don't slide well.
The Addis are GREAT. The bamboo is very smooth, and only slightly slower than metal needles (a plus for me, as I don't lose stitches off the needles as easily). Tips are more rounded than the Knitpicks, but I'm knitting with a fuzzy alpca yarn now w/o problems. The cords are flexible and do magic loop well. The joins are nice and smooth the best of all the sets I have and they stay together w/o any worries (they bayonet in and twist into a j-shaped channel.) I've read the Addi Lace Clicks lace have shorter needle attachments, and I was concerned that these would not be as comfortable to knit with. The needle attachments on the bamboo Clicks are long enough to hold and manipulate comfortably. These are a great set. I cringed at the price because I'd been disappointed with various things about other sets, and had to buy these w/o trying them. I feel the Addis are the go-to set for me, and are as good as they should be. I'd buy them again. I'm a VERY happy knitter with these.
BUT the cables. Ugh. These cables kink up and stay kinked up. I can't get them to straighten out! It's annoying and after spending this kind of money on a set of needles, I feel like I shouldn't have to fight with a cable that kinks. I have an old set of size 2 Addi Turbo's that I bought years and years ago and those cables do not kink up yet the cables being used in the kit are not the same as the cables from my old set of 2's.
My overall experience with these are good so I gave it the three stars because they are an awesome set of needles. Aside from the kinky-thing... :)
You can shop around and find them on sites for a few dollars difference. I opted to purchase through Amazon because I felt more secure with the site.
Happy Knitting!
Over the years, I've collected hundreds of needles of various materials. I've tried plastic, wood, bamboo and different types of metals. I always come back to Addi. When I learned a few years ago that Skacel was coming out with a line of interchangeable Addis, I was thrilled, that is until I realized that I already had far more needles than I could ever use, including two interchangeable sets from other manufacturers.
Although I suppressed it for a few years, the desire to own these needles never left me and recently and happily, I succumbed. The Clicks are everything I imagined and more. The needle tips themselves are of the same quality as my individual Addis and important to me, they feel and even sound the same. The cables are soft and supple and I've experienced no problems with kinking or curling. The joining mechanism is pure genius. It's fast and easy and requires no tools. Yet it produces a smooth, seamless join that's very strong and secure. At the same time, it's easy to undo when you're ready. Even the presentation is well done. And the company stands behind its products and offers a lifetime guarantee from manufacturer's defects.
For anyone who has used and liked Addi Turbo needles, I recommend the Click system without reservation.

I purchased these for myself for Christmas. And I do like them! It's nice having all those sizes at my fingertips. And the tips are slick and slippery and it makes me knit a lot faster. I am new to knitting and a friend suggested purchasing a needle set from the start. I researched the options and was very confused by the drastically different prices for various needle sets and all the conflicting feedback. In the end, I opted for the Addi interchangeable set. I love it! The cables lock into the needles, so there are no tools to lose or risk of over tightening the screws. They never come undone until you want them to. The needles are sized perfectly to fit in my hands comfortably and the cables never kink. You do need to straighten the cables after you unpack them. They come tightly wound for shipping, but I never had another problem and they fit back into the case easily. I am very happy with this purchase. I understand that needles are a personal choice. If you have the money to spurge, I would suggest the Addi Interchangeable set.You can shop around and find them on sites for a few dollars difference. Honest reviews on addi Click Interchangeable Knitting Needles Sets
I've been knitting since I was about 6 or 7 and believe me, that is a very long time. From the moment that I discovered Addi Turbos, they've been my favorite needle. I've loved their heft, their smooth join, their shiny, slick surface and the audible click they make when I'm knitting a project. This, of course, is entirely subjective but as far as I'm concerned Addi Turbos are the finest knitting needles ever produced.Over the years, I've collected hundreds of needles of various materials. Although I don't knit, I bought this product for my wife, who does so passionately and she tells me that it is the unrivaled champion of knitting needle sets. Basically, the addiclick set has everything one might need to knit most projects and because all of it is interchangeable, it's straightforward and highly portable. QuicKutz 4-Inch by 4-Inch Die, Tea Review
I don't know what I was thinking when I thought that 4-inch by 4-inch meant the dimensions of the largest shape, but those dimensions actually indicate the size of the entire square that the patterns sit in. This set comes with two 4" x 4" foam-covered square dies.
One square die has the two cups (each about 2" by 1") and teabag parts (approx. 1" x 3/4"), and the other die has the teapot (approx. 2"x3")and lid (approx. 1") and spoon (approx. 2").
Overall I'm still quite happy with them, although the foam dies are only a few millimeters thick and thinner than other brands (sizzix) so I've needed to close my multipurpose platform completely and put the cutting boards on top to get a complete cut on my Big Shot which results in more wear and tear on my cutting sheets but... these are still quite cute and versatile shapes.
Frustratingly, Amazon seems to drop the price on their craft items the more that they have in stock, so maybe wait around and see how prices fluctuates (I ordered them at about 40% less when there were "10 in stock" as compared to what it seems to be now at "1 in stock")
TIP: After some experimenting I found that although a piece of cardboard on the bottom did not make any difference, a piece of kid's craft foam placed underneath resulted in a perfect cut. Woo!
I do wish they would have put in something more interesting than the sugar cup though.

I really really liked these die cuts, although they are a little on the crowded together side. They cut very well with heavy-duty cardstock, but were awful with the thinner patterned papers (which is what I bought it for). The handles were the biggest problem there.TIP: After some experimenting I found that although a piece of cardboard on the bottom did not make any difference, a piece of kid's craft foam placed underneath resulted in a perfect cut. Cheap COPIC Marker Airbrush System- Air Can D60

The air can is very convenient for quick projects or when I'm taking my Copic markers to friend's homes for our group card making days.
For extended use, though, they are expensive, and I'll plan on using a small portable air tank that can be refilled with my husband's shop compressor. Almost any full service gas station could refill one of those small tanks for you. I've even read that filling a small trailer tire works as a convenient air source. It doesn't last as long as I'd like, but it really is great. I'm sure duration is due to my not following directions. Company and product is fantastic.

I always use a centering tape to keep my quilts lined up. This is the second one I have bought. It does what it needs to do, however on this particular one that I got, the little markers don't stay in place well. Perhaps the slits were cut too big. I have to put tape on them to keep them in place. It isn't much good if it doesn't keep an accurate width. Overall, I never long arm without one.

What a great idea. I use the tape to center my cross stitching on the fabric. It prevents doing a whole lot of stitching work, and then to find you've made a mistake in centering. I recommend this productBest Deals for Colonial Needle 14-Feet LongArm Centering Tape
I purchased this especially to keep all the borders in line and to keep the quilt square. The clips hold the tape securely, and there is also the option of using Velcro which I will probably utilize now that I know that it's a useful tool. While the tabs are helpful, I make note of the actual numbers on the tape as the tabs tend to slide a bit too easily.Overall it does the job I wanted it for.

This is another great amazon bargain: extremely high quality merchandise for 1950s prices! It's also a very unique design that is not available in most art supply stores or warehouses. It's a very warm, reddish walnut finish, with high quality varnishes and fits gracefully and snugly in a corner of my generous but 1-room apartment. It's the perfect solution for engraving and precision drawing projects as I can easily adjust the top with the handles below. It was a little complicated to assemble, but not that much. Just lay out each piece and all the hardware in a grid on the floor and read each step, and it will be done in a few hours. A wonderful low-budget solution for creative people.
This is shipped in a flat pack. Construction took two of us 20 minutes to build. We have been using it for over two months. The artist is quite satisfied. We will buy a new one if we expand.
While the instructions did not recommend, nor did the kit include, glue. I used Gorilla Glue on all wood to wood joints, dowels, & etc.
The wood is substantial, not at all like your typical kit. And the hardware is a bit over the top. But even then, the structure wobbled once assembled.
I'm hoping the glue will tighten things up.
Another gripe is that there are knobs to adjust the angle of the table, but not the height. If you want to raise or lower the table, you need an allen wrench. Hopefully, you'll find the right height and not need to adjust it, but still ...
Four stars.

My business needed a work table for an iconographer. We looked at many used drafting tables, new drafting tables, and assorted desks. We settled on this model. It is cute, sturdy, and well constructed. This is shipped in a flat pack. Construction took two of us 20 minutes to build. We have been using it for over two months. The artist is quite satisfied. This is a nice sturdy work table. There are no instructions per se, but the illustrations are clear enough. It took me an hour to assemble. Of course, you'll want to use a power drill because using the allen wrench by hand would take forever. Also, the power drill helps things get a bit tighter which helps to overcome a flaw in this product. While the instructions did not recommend, nor did the kit include, glue. You always hear, "You get what you pay for." Well, this is BETTER than what I expected when I paid for it. My husband is a heavy man, and quite tall: 275lbs and 6'5". This was a starter table for him since he wanted to draw out plans for our home. Not only does it hold his weight, but it 'fits'. IF you are tall, or have a tall spouse/family member, then you know how important that comment is. IF you don't, then understand finding something that fits my husbands long legs and knee height is difficult at best. This works well for that, and the added little bits like the clip to hold it in place was wonderful! We also purchased the clip on lamp and I think I have used that even more than he has, just for that lamp. Well worth the money.Monday, June 23, 2014
Cheap Dritz Sheer Press Cloth, 22 by 30-Inch
The price for this is perfect. You can use it on all heat levels from very hot and steamy to a low iron. It prevents shine and protects the fabric, just as it is designed to do.
It's only problem is the unraveling. It WILL unravel, unless you make a seam with it. Once it begins to unravel (which was very soon after purchase, I think I used it twice), it deteriorates very quickly. I'm about to use an adhesive seam and I'll see if it stops it. If I don't post back, then it means it worked.
Now I did try buying [[B001I1P48S this one]] but the product description (at the time of this writing) does not say what it is made of. To my dismay, it is 100% polyester. I'm amazed that reviewers are so pleased saying it can take the heat very well. Polyester isn't supposed to take high heat. Needless to say, that one was tossed to the side and maybe I'll use it as wide mesh cheese cloth or something.
As for this one, I can vouch for the heat settings. Works like a charm! It only loses 1 star because it should have been seamed. This dritz sheer press cloth takes on heat yet leaves the cloth beneath visible. You can press a delicate fabric at a higher heat in order to steam press if you like.
