I always use a centering tape to keep my quilts lined up. This is the second one I have bought. It does what it needs to do, however on this particular one that I got, the little markers don't stay in place well. Perhaps the slits were cut too big. I have to put tape on them to keep them in place. It isn't much good if it doesn't keep an accurate width. Overall, I never long arm without one.

What a great idea. I use the tape to center my cross stitching on the fabric. It prevents doing a whole lot of stitching work, and then to find you've made a mistake in centering. I recommend this product

I purchased this especially to keep all the borders in line and to keep the quilt square. The clips hold the tape securely, and there is also the option of using Velcro which I will probably utilize now that I know that it's a useful tool. While the tabs are helpful, I make note of the actual numbers on the tape as the tabs tend to slide a bit too easily.

Overall it does the job I wanted it for.
