Best T-Shirt Printing Kit Deals

T-Shirt Printing Kit

I bought one of these at a toy store about 5 years ago. I have made a lot of T-shirts and even stamped hats with it. It takes a bit of practice to get good results (like most things), but it is great for making homemade, original presents! I am pleased with how long it has lasted me, especially with how much I've used it. I am just now, after 5 years of heavy use, looking to buy a new set.

I would not buy it again,

It leaves horrible results.

I would not recomend it but you can

I have a growing collection of Sizzix Tim Holtz dies and love them all because of their clever designs and sturdy construction. The movers & shapers magnetic dies are especially cool, because they can be used with the magnetic tray to make die cuts for embellishments. However, they can also be used with various of the movers and shapers magnetic base dies to customize them. I highly recommend these hearts which can be used for valentines projects and for a multitude of other themed projects.

I made a pop 'n cuts card using these hearts and I was thrilled at how they turned out. Delivery to Australia took over 2 weeks to arrive but that was expected. A good buy!

These were not the heart dies I wanted, but I did not realize that until after they were bought. It was no ones fault but the Youtube person who did the Pop-n-Cuts card video. She did not say there were 2 different hear die sets and which one to get. For the card she is demonstrating, you need to buy the winged heart Movers and Shapers dies.

But the smaller one of this set worked as well, it just didn't give me a cut out heart.

They have been used many times. You need to have either the Pop-n-Cuts base or a regular magnetic base to use these dies.

My grandmother and two great aunts used this pattern to make a baptism gown for my son out of my wedding dress. It was beautiful and they said that the pattern was easy enough to follow. Both pieces use more fabric than you might imagine, so be sure to read the pattern fabric requirements.

Bought these for my daughter for Christmas and she loves them. These were a pretty good price in comparison to other sites I viewed. They were shipped promptly and in perfect condition.

Copics are amazing markers for any design proffesional they make amazingly crisp lines for a marker and are also blendable. They are great for anyone from Illustrators to Architects. In college when I had huge marker projects I was constantly running dry with other markers in the middle of an assignment and hated just throwing out money, then I discovered copics. They are more expensive then other design markers such as popular prismas but one of the things I love most about Copics is they are refillable which will save you money long term, so no more throwing away a $5 marker after only a few uses! These last so much longer between refills and a bottle of ink will last a long time I'd say up to four or five refills sometimes more. They also have more variety in colors than other marker brands. I have both this original set of markers and the sketch line but If you are debating between the two get the original markers they hold more ink and Copic makes dozens of different interchangable nibs so you really dont need both kinds, the sketches are just cheaper and have a flexible brush nib but you can buy one of those nibs for these. Over the years I've bought several of each color and installed the different nibs on each of them so I have this amazing multi lined styled marker arsenal, I would never use anything else.

Best Deals for Copic Markers 36-Piece Sketch Basic Set

I got this set after trying out a set of 24, so this is the 2nd set of Copic markers for me. I really like these the colors are outstanding, and the two different tips are useful, although I mostly got them for the brush tip. What I really like about them is that they tend to "bleed" a little bit; it may be the paper I am using. They seem a little "pricey" but they really don't cost much more than any other truly competitive brand. I would buy them again.

Honest reviews on Copic Markers 36-Piece Sketch Basic Set

I bought the copics just for coloring my sketches, and it was worth it. The colors are vibrant, but the wide range of grays and blues help tune down any picture. All 36 were in perfect working order, and the box was useful for keeping track of them, an advantage over buying the copics separately.

Yep. Excellent marker. I was borderline on the expensive pens over the cheapo ones. There's a reason why people again and again turn to these markers. Exceptional quality. But you need to have the appropriate complement to the pen... what's that? The paper. So if you are testing out markers, make sure you have good quality paper as well. All markers bleed on crummy paper. Best about these pens is the broad tip and the brush tip in addition to the color set. Super overall in color content for the set. I used this on a simple project for a birthday party. I wanted to do my own art for everything: internet, invitations, on-site decor. Spent a while looking for the right fit and ended up on these.

Love love love love it!!! I Recommend to everyone that is looking for a new sewing machine..I just love my new machine!!!

I have been sewing for 40 years and have never had a machine that could do all of these things. Feel like a kid in a candy store. Thanks to a Lightening Deal, I look forward to many hours of sewing pleasure.

Best Deals for Anthony Ryan Signature BX2925PRW Project Runway Limited Edition

After losing my favorite machine, I had spent hours online reading reviews on every type of machine out there in a $300-$500 price point. It seemed to me that unless it was a real dud, most reviews were mixed on all of the machines. There were no clear winners. I almost purchased the Singer-Heavy Duty, no bells and whistles machine and at the last minute, I found this machine with only 2 reviews and it was on SALE!! It sounded too good to be true. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, "I'll probably have to send it back". Guess what? It's awesome!!! It's easy to thread and wind bobbins. It has 3 speeds and the top speed is faster than my old machine. That's a plus! I played with the stitches and learned how to use the electronic options. The machine sews nice, tight, clean straight stitches. The few embroidery stitches I tried were perfect! Then I tested it on 4 layers of flannel I do a lot of applique and it breezed through. Also repaired a cotton quilted pillow sham with ease. I am so happy I changed my mind at the last minute. Oh, and the extra-wide table adapter is great! I can't wait to get busy!!

Honest reviews on Anthony Ryan Signature BX2925PRW Project Runway Limited Edition

This machine has a fair number of decorative stitches and comes with extra feet that are terrific. It is the same machine as the PRW9500 minus a few feet and minus the Anthony Ryan name. It does NOT have an automatic thread cutter as it says it does. The machines with an auto thread cutter have a button (the the button for needle up and down) with a pic of scissors near the needle up/down button. The extension table is flimsy and does not sit level with the top of the machine all the way around even after adjusting the feet as much as possible, but not sure I need it anyway. The drop in autofeed bobbin is wonderful, no pulling up thread from the bobbin case, just sew and it's there. The alphabet is ok, there is no way to stretch out the letters and there is no "space" so if you want to write several words you have to put either a dash or a dot in between or stop and move your work and start a new word. The light is ok, but I need more light if sun is not also shining into the room, but that is what Ott brand lights are for! This is great for either a beginner to grow into or an experienced seamstress, however, I doubt it will hold up to hard, extensive use as it just feels less solid than my old Kenmore. But, for the price of $199 how can you go wrong. I was considering a Bernina 530 at the dealercost aroujnd $2,000 give or take. It does have some great features like all metal gears and a thread cutter, a 25yr warranty and such, but really not too much more. I figure the cost of that machine lasting until warranty is up vs a cheap machine I would have to use a cheap machine for one year per $100 cost of the cheap machine to make it worth the cost. Plus in that 25yrs of the other machine I don't get any of the updated new to sewing machine technology stuff, I'm stuck trying to get my money's worth out of an OLD machine. I for one want to try new things and not feel cheated that I paid too much for something, so if that means cheaper machines with newer stuff so be it. My old machine still works, but I got 15 yrs out of itdefinitely my money's worth, and am sick of making buttonholes in steps, I LOVE the automatic buttonhole maker!

I can't wait to get home and "play" with my new sewing machine. It's the first one I have purchased, I have an older one my mom gave me a few years ago, Simplicity. I hope this machine meets my expectations.

I have now used my new machine and love it. It works great with fleece, flannel and cotton. The pretty little stitches work wonderful on all the listed materials I have tried it with. It is light enough to move, but heavy enough to stay still on the table while sewing. I have not tried the wide table attachment yet, but will be doing a few large projects fairly soon, so will be able to try it then. The alpha characters are a nice size for any project I will be doing. Instead of hand embrodery I have used the fancy stitches instead, which make the finished project prettier.

The book is great.

I have a Sizzix Big Shot and I am so impressed with this die set. Not only can I use the pieces together, but I can also use them with other flower and round dies I have to make seemingly infinite types of flowers and other shapes. The set is very well-made and cuts through fabric, craft foam, cardstock, Con-tact paper, cork, even thick, fiberglass-reinforced double-sided tape.

For the reviewer who didn't have any luck with it cutting felt, I wanted to offer a couple of suggestions: with many dies I have, when cutting through thicker fabrics, I often have to place a piece of cardstock over the felt and, depending on the material's thickness, sometimes even must stack my Big Shot with an extra layer of chipboard. Also, as I'm sure everyone knows, all felt is not created equal. As with fabrics, more tightly-woven felt cuts more easily, in my experience. If that still doesn't work, there are many stabilizers (tear-away, iron-on, dissolvable, etc.) you could attach to your material prior to cutting.

I even used felt, turned out great...

I have used the die cuts many times already!. Using the six dies with different papers and other embellishments makes each card look very different. The cuts can be layered or used on their own so well worth the money. I keep them in the small zip baggie they came in which is really convenient for storage. I highly recommend this set to everyone with a die cut tool.

I have been crocheting probably for 45 years, and with the arthritis in my hands, My Susan Bates Hooks, were starting to hurt them even worse. Like the other crocheters the Boye Hooks to me are horrible hooks, and I have been using my Susan Bates Hooks forever. I remember getting my first set when they had a factory in Chester Ct. I came upon the Clover Hooks, and I fell in love with them. They are easy on the palm of your hands, and make crocheting fun again. You can hold your tension with ease and not have to rip back because the tension became to loose or tight. Way to go Clover, Thank You... Sorry Susan I feel like I lost my best friends.. :( Also want to add before you all go wasting your money, the Addi Swing hooks are garbage. They are bent in a non traditional way, they feel like you are trying to crochet with a spoon. Not comfortable at all, and just make my hand hurt even worse. I wish there was a way we could try these hooks before purchasing them, but I do hope this review is most helpful and if you are planning to upgrade your hooks, stick with the clover hooks, you will definitley enjoy them.

Before trying these hooks, I was a diehard Susan Bates/inline fan. No offense to anyone -I know there are a lot of Boye users out there -but I just can't stand Boye/tapered hooks. I almost gave up trying to learn to crochet because of Boye hooks.

I do a LOT of amigurumi and my hands get sore from making tight sts. I think the animals turn out better, and hold the stuffing better, when using a smaller hook and making tight sts. I usually use an E or an F for ww yarn such as Red Heart Super Saver, just to give you an idea, and those little metal handles start hurting after awhile. I have avoided making Barbie clothes with crochet thread because of this.

I tried the bamboo handled Susan Bates and they were okay, but still not what I was looking for. Too much metal before the bamboo. I tried those foam cushion things, but didn't care for them. I even tried baking poly clay handles onto a couple of my hooks, but my hands still hurt.

The Clover Amour hooks are the tapered style, so I was very reluctant to try them. I saw them in the new craft store in town, but dismissed them due to the tapered throat. No way. I'm an inline girl... however... after being "commissioned" by my daughter to make 6 tiny kittens as last minute party favors, my aching hands begged me to try them anyway.

And I love them!

The actual hook/head/point portion isn't as bulbous and... fat?... as a Boye hook. Because of this, I think it's easier to insert the hook into the sts. It isn't so pointy that it splits the yarn, though. The groove isn't as shallow as a Boye (but not as deep as a SB), which means I'm not as likely to drop a loop. The metal is super smooth; yarn glides easily. There isn't too much metal before the cushion, which was the problem with the SB bamboo, so the Amour works nicely with how I hold my hook. The cushioned portion itself is super dreamy. I really, really love how it feels when I'm crocheting.

My hands don't hurt and my sts are nice and tight. Although my SB hooks are all vintage and made in the US, I have to admit that I don't miss them one bit. All in all, a well-deserved 5-star rating for these hooks.

Oh, and I got all of the kittens done in time!

Best Deals for Clover 3672 Amour Crochet Hook Set, 10 sizes

I have been crocheting for 55+ years and teaching crochet for over thirty---and these are the FINEST hooks I have ever used. Hooray for clover!!! Each stitch is like a little massage for my hand. The best I could imagine.

Honest reviews on Clover 3672 Amour Crochet Hook Set, 10 sizes

I'm really turning into a fan of the Clover products. The first time I bought a hook was truly at random while in a Japanese yarn store--it was one of the 'soft touch' variety. It was very early in my crochet resurgence and I knew I liked it. Since then I've also used the basic aluminums, some bamboos and even a lighted plastic hook. Whenever the Clover was the right size, that is the hook I opted to use.

Recently I went through a phase of trying to keep many little projects going while traveling, working and moving and of course managed to never have the right hook when I wanted it. I finally decided to do what has worked for me in other aspects of my life, and that is to buy something so brightly colored it would be harder to lose (of course I'm ignoring the fact that some of my hooks are already brightly colored, but really I wanted a treat too). I found this set, saw Clover was the manufacturer and decided to give them a try.

I do love the brightness factor, but I also appreciate the high quality construction. But even more importantly, I found the handles to be just the right contour--thicker for holding, with a thumb rest and angled so the other fingers are also in a neutral feeling position. Very comfortable, more so than the soft touch in my hands. Also, the material is dense, but has just a teensy bit of give sensation, sort of rubberized instead of just a hard plastic which also increases the comfort factor.

I'm a 'knife' holder when I crochet and I handed some to a friend who is a 'pencil'. She liked them too, though her tastes run to a pointier tip. I like the tip, works very well with the bulky and worsted weights and yarn types I tend to favor.

Definitely my new favorite set of hooks.

Highly Recommended.

JTG

Just a note to be aware of when shopping Amazon, these are (currently) sold by 'partner vendors'. When I bought mine they were a tad more expensive than the price listed at the time I'm writing the review (I spent about fifty total) but mine were sold by a vendor that uses the Amazon warehouses as their shelf space. In other words it had the 'fulfilled by Amazon' tag which means super saver and Prime shipping applies. The current vendor has a lower price and free shipping, but it is important to look closely at the vendor's terms before buying. Also, do your due diligence with the vendors--check feedback. I'ver RARELY had any issues, but it does pay to check.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Clover 3672 Amour Crochet Hook Set, 10 sizes

Let me tell you a little story. I have a whole set of another brand's comfort grip hooks and I thought they were fantastic.

Once, I was on a trip, and needed a hook size I hadn't packed, so I went to the nearest craft store only to be disappointed that they didn't have my brand. I bought a Armour hook, thinking that it had to be better than skipping my evening crochet/relaxation time. The Armour hook was amazing. It slid through stitches like a hot knife through butter, and old fashioned wool simply glided over the hook like it was silk. I was doing a no-brainier piece, so I was mostly watching TV while crocheting at a leisurely pace, without paying much attention to my progress. When the news finished, I was shocked to see how much was done. I had crocheted at least as fast as I do when I'm actually focused on my work.

The only problem was that when I got home, my once-prized hook set felt inferior. I could feel the yarn dragging along the hook in a way I'd never noticed before and I realized that the friction made my movements less fluid than they were with the Armour hook. When I switched back to the Armour hook, there was a noticeable speed improvement, because the stutter in my rhythm had disappeared. I've never been a speed demon, but it was exciting to suddenly be able to get more done without more effort. I felt like I'd found a magic hook. The only thing that made sense was to buy the whole set.

So, here's the actual review:

These hooks will spoil you for any others. They are extremely comfortable and stable in a pencil-like grip and Clover's hook shape is much easier to work with than that of other brands. They offer an incredibly smooth crochet experience, making even tricky fibers a breeze to stitch. With these hooks, I'm able to crochet more quickly and with less hand fatigue than experience has taught me to expect. In short, I just love them.

I wish I could get a few larger than 6mm. I recently did a quickie project with chunky yarn, and after a brief go with the recommended hook size (in plastic), I decided that I'd rather use my 6mm Armour and just compensate for the gauge discrepancy with extra stitches. That I would prefer to do extra work just so I could use one of these hooks, pretty much shows how much I love Armour.

This is another of the new releases by Spellbinders and one that I had to add to my own stash! If you're new to Spellbinders, be sure to use wax paper between the die and your cardstock the first few times. The die will release from the paper without any problems!

This die is just gorgeous! Like all Spellbinders dies, it cuts and embosses easily and effortlessly. If you are thinking of buying this or any other Spellbinder dies, I am sure you will love it too. I have a few different ones and occasionally mix and match them. Lots of possibilities.

Tip: For easy release, place a piece of wax paper between the die and paper/cardstock. I do this the first few times I use it and then it just becomes easier to release the cardstock from the die without the wax paper.

Happy crafting...

We have six children, and colored pencils are our preferred coloring tool. They are less easily damaged by chewing than markers or crayons, and you can't color on yourself like with markers. Also the colors are more sophisticated. So, we have tried quite a few jumbo colored pencils for our preschoolers and toddlers. This set by Melissa & Doug is easily my favorite, and here's why:

* Triangular shape. The corners are nicely rounded so it's comfortable to grip. But, the triangular shape makes for easier gripping and keeps the pencils from rolling away.

* Long length. Many jumbo colored pencils are shorter than standard colored pencils; these are not, which means more use.

* Many vibrant colors. Gorgeous, vivid colors are better than some we've tried, and I've never seen jumbo colored pencils in a set bigger than 8 or 12.

The only thing I would change is that these pencils do not have the color names written on them. That would be helpful sometimes in distinguishing between similarly colored pencils. There are two brown ones that have an almost identical exterior, and it would be easy to pick the wrong one when trying to match previous drawing. However, these pencils are still good enough to warrant a 5-star rating, and I recommend them to any parent of preschoolers or toddlers.

Honest reviews on Melissa & Doug Jumbo Triangular Colored Pencils (Set of 24)

I'm writing this review, first one ever, to say WTH... no sharpener... so within 5 minutes of her flattening out the pink one... this set became unusable to us...as she could just start coloring and then never be able to finish whatever she was working due to the lack of a sharpener. I love most Melissa and Doug products but this is a huge FAIL. In searching online for the only available German Kum Special Diameter sharpener for triangular pencils, which I'm gonna have to order, I see that most other triangular color pencil sellers include the sharpener...go for them in spite of your love for Melissa and Doug and buy their other products but not these pencils. The triangular sharpener requires me to now spend the same amount for the item to sharpen them and have it shipped, not an Amazon Prime item, and since I just gave these as a gift to a friends kid also, I'm gonna have to buy two so they aren't in the same boat.Kum Special Diameter Wooden Pencil Sharpener for Triangular & Hexagonal Body Pencils 2 Hole 8 10 mm Black

I got these pencils before a plane ride with my child and I was interested in the NO-ROLL feature, so that we don't loose them in the plane under the seats. I am dissapointed, the pencils are big, but almost round, and boy do they roll on the floor. These are useless to me for the purpose I bought them, otherwise they seem pretty enough, many colors and the kid loves to learn more color shades names.
