The quality of the material is great! These are very sturdy, and fits most earring posts. It has a heavy feel to it, and once you put it through a post, it takes a bit of strength to pull it out, which is great because of less chances of it falling off. The price is also cheaper than any offline crafts store I've been to so far. I definitely recommend this!

Discount Dual-action 7cc Gravity-feed Airbrush Set - 0.3mm Nozzle

Customer Ratings:

I ordered this airbrush about 5 days ago, it shipped quickly, it works great, and it is definitely superior to most airbrush reproductions. This is an upper-mid-range airbrush and its performance is nothing less than superior. I have used Iwata airbrushes that did not perform as well as this one. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Note: When purchasing a hose for this airbrush, make sure that the threaded ends are correct for the compressor that you are using. If you are using a general-purpose compressor, pay attention to the quick-disconnect connectors.

Items you will need to keep your airbrush working properly:

Compressor

Moisture trap

Lubrication

Having said all of that, I love this airbrush. It is extremely precise, and very durable.

It a pretty good beginner airbrush, it would be better if it could adjust a little more fine than It does but overall it's good quality!

I also state that for the price, this Airbrush is a solid 5 star rating. In saying that, I also understood (and did not expect) this brush to do fine very lines. I use this brush for both free-hand T-shirt painting as-well-as painting wood signs. For fine lines, I have a more refined airbrush when needing pencil thin line painting. This brush does work somewhat O.K. when needing to spray a line by keeping the air pressure around 15 psi and drawing back softly on the trigger.

I want to say that with all of my airbrushes, I have rarely needed to pull the needle out to clean them. If changing color, I thoroughly clean the brush under a special shop sink water faucet. While cranking up the air pressure to about 50 psi, holding back on the trigger under running water and using my finger to wipe clean the nozzle area. When I'm finished using the brush for the day, I spray a little WD-40 in the bowl (AFTER THE WATER FAUCET CLEANING) and spray empty the bowl into a rag. The rag prevents WD-40 vapor mist as-well-as using the now moist rag to also wipe the nozzle area clean of any paint build up. I've never read this cleaning procedure anywhere, I simply know and use WD-40 for many cleaning projects in my shop.

Honest reviews on Dual-action 7cc Gravity-feed Airbrush Set - 0.3mm Nozzle

For the money this AB is very good. I use this in painting models. I have a Japanese brand that costs 10 times more. This brush is not as good as it, but about half as good. Lays down a fine line if you use very thin paint at 20 PSI or less. Don't expect to paint a house with this thing. It will do between an 1/8" and a 1/4" pattern very well. You can paint up to about 1/2" pattern My other AB from Japan will do 1/16" or less line, but other than that, the only difference is in the finish of the brush and quality of the material. So great value for the money. If you are a professional painter, you need a better brush. But if you can live with not so fine a line, buy this and save up for the more expensive ones. Comes with standard air fittings for most compressors or other air sources. If you use the canned air, make sure your adapter works with standard fittings.

Pros

Dual action: means you can adjust both the paint flow amount and air pressure volume through the AB's trigger.

Gravity feed means you can use lower PSI.

All metal construction.

.3mm needle for fine spray pattern

Solid with good feel.

Cons

Not sure where I can find a replacement needle or nozzle. But at this price, I'd just buy another AB!

If you need to paint a lot, paint cup is ok but you might have to refill it to complete the job.

Cleaning has been no problem. But I do use hobby acrylics and they clean up with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. Not sure how well this AB will work with other more chemical paints. If you use it with lacquer paints and don't clean it, you are likely to have it freeze up on you and need some a REAL cleaning/Solvent soak. Nothing different here, regardless of cost of the AB. Clean and you are good. Don't clean and yoy wish you had.

I have used this for about two months, off and on, with no issues.

Cheap Dritz 8920 Drapery Lead Square Covered Weights, 1-Inch, 4-Pack

Customer Ratings:

These would work ok if you need just a little weight, but even all 4 of them in the package together barely weigh anything. I originally bought them to weigh down my shower curtain to keep it from going outside the tub but they arent heavy enough. I am now going to try them on my tent as there is a free hanging room divider which blows around too much if the windows are down. I wouldnt buy these again and wouldnt recommend them unless you need something you can sew into fabric and cant find anything else

Copic markers are great and I'm sure this set is fabulous but I want to prevent others from making the same mistake I did. This set, CSTAMP12B, is of ORIGINAL Copic markers. I should have realized that by the title but I went by the picture which is very clearly of SSTAMP12B, the set of Copic SKETCH markers. Unfortunately since I wanted what was pictured, I had to return.

Review of OOK 50652 Small Sawtooth Hangers with Nails Tidy Tins, 25 sets 25

Customer Ratings:

These little guys work great. We used them for some crafts my wife made on very thin wooden circles. The nails that come with it are about half and inch long, so we ended up super gluing these little guys to the back and it turned out really well. If I need more of these, I will buy this brand again.

You need a pair of needle nose plyers to hold the nails as you tap them. Once you know that trick, it is a piece of cake.

Product arrived in perfect condition in a timely manner just as expected. The case they come with is great. These will work for the project I started.

Honest reviews on OOK 50652 Small Sawtooth Hangers with Nails Tidy Tins, 25 sets 25

Made a plaque for my mom and wanted it to lay flush with the wall.

These did the trick nicely. Routed a recess across the center-line of the plaque and made a little notch on the "south" side of it to allow the head of a nail to be able to get under the hangar.

If you're having problems setting the nails in tight areas, just use long needle-nose pliers to set the nails in and then tap the nails in with a hammer and punch.

Although this wasn't the color I thought it would be, it is a very nice green metallic. I was hoping for a good dark green, but so far I haven't found one in craft paints, at least within my budget. And I do prefer the acrylic paints, for the cleanup ease. FolkArt is a good company, and their products are terrific.

Reviews of Maries' Chinese Watercolor Set of 18 12 ml Tubes

Customer Ratings:

This might be one of the very few instances where the item sent was better than the picture and description. If you look up Big Size 12 Colors Marie's Chinese Painting Colour(12ml) you will see a better description of what was sent. The difference being 18 colors instead of 12. At 18 12-mL tubes this is the best deal I've seen (at this time).

The colors provided, circle the color wheel and are a great started set. I did notice that the tubes had a good amount of air in them making the size of the tube containor disproportionately larger than the volume of paint in each. It didn't bother me so much because the price of the paints were well below smaller sets and sizes available.

The paints themselve look very similar to western watercolors. You can really see a diference when you use them on your Sumi/Chinese Caligraphy/rice paper. There is suppose to be a differnt kind of pigment binder in chinese watercolors making them better suited to these types of papers. I tested the western watercolors along side the chinese watercolors and notice that the western watercolors tended to bleed and diffuse out into the papers, resulting in a blur of running colors. If I added little to no water I could avoid this but since western watercolors tend to be more expensive then chinese watercolors it seem to not be the best approach. I was able to obtain crisp lines and vibrant colors using the chinese watercolors. Althouh the available colors for the chinese watercolor are limited they appear to be a better aproach for this type of media. I will just have to work on my color mixing techniques!

Quality control seems to be lacking on these paints. Some have a paste like American style watercolors, but some contain a bubbly, tinted liquid. It seems like the contents of the liquid tubes has separated and there doesn't seem to be enough usable color compared to other watercolors in a similar price range that I've purchased recently.

It is great for practicing Chinese sumi-e painting. The 18 colors looks very beautiful and convenient for daily pacticing purpose.

I purchase about 500$ worth of oil painting supplies and I got 2 of these with that package. The clips that hold it down are decent but they take about an inch away from the painting. On such a small canvas (8x11) you lose a lot of canvas space.

The only thing this is good for is kids really. But not with OIL paint though! Unless you have gallons of paint remover or furniture that you want to throw away.

The legs that this is on need to be screwed or bolted down to a surface if you want to actually put pressure behind your brush. If not, it falls backwards or you have to hold the base down the whole time you paint.

Buy the FULL SIZED aluminum stand and you can still clip down small canvases or large 3 foot ones too. Also the aluminum ones collapse just as small as this one.

I paint and I've sold works for a couple hundred dollars here and there. This is just a crappy item that I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

No pros. Even the paint has a grainy texture to it. The wooden palette stains and holds old paint. Buy the 2$ plastic palette and you can use white without getting a tinge from the colors soaked in the wood. GOOD LUCK!

For the longest time, I believed that light tables were expensive. I had seen many models in art stores in the $200-$400 price range which is much more than I could afford. I was thrilled to find this product which is much cheaper. I have used high end light tables before in offices and I am happy to say that the performance of this product is comparable to other tables which I have used. I especially like the fact that the table is slanted which makes drawing on it much easier. It also has a place to put pens and pencils at the top which I find quite handy. The table is a bit bulky, but it is light enough to be portable.

Currently, I am using this product to aid in developing hand drawings from sketchup models. The light is bright enough that I can see through several layers of trace paper. I am very happy with this purchase.
