It's hard to find tunisian hooks in smaller sizes; everyone seems to want to work only with bulky or at least worsted weight yarns. Well, some of us like much finer yarn--even sock yarn! This is a set for us. I like the thought of making a jacket in Tunisian stitch from lovely strips of rose-colored linen, or crocheting some other piece for my wardrobe, or my family's wardrobe in a lighter, finer yarn, because it drapes better than the heavier yarns, yet still has the speed of crochet rather than going into knitting which to me is slower (even though it has far more stitches to choose from). Besides, I'm in love with Tunisian stitch and want to use it!

Review of 11Pcs 2-8mm 10.6" Multicolour Aluminum TUNISIAN/AFGHAN Crochet Hook
About 5 of these hooks were very sticky on the hook end. I had to thoroughly clean the goo off before I could use them. I've only used 4 of them so far, but one of them had a burr on it. It kept snagging my yarn, so I had to switch to another one for my project. I'm going to have to file or sand it before I use it again.

Cricut Solutions Street Sign Font Review
Love this product, I love all of my cricut cartridges. I am very happy to know that I can purchase them somewhere less expensive than in the store!I will use this cartridge but in retrospect may have shopped more for one still being manufactured and similar enough but not with the way too high a price.

Buy Head Wearing Magnifier Can Be Used Hands Free And Worn Over
I do a lot of craft work, polymer clay and such, and these were recommended, and they work Great! I really needed something like this. Help immensely. Very comfortable also.
PROS:
* Light weight. It's all plastic; I have chronic neck problems and this doesn't feel heavy or bother my neck at all.
* 2 different magnification levels. I find it easy to swich between magnification lenses.
* Adjustable head band. Velcro fastener on the back allows for easy fit and adjustment for head size.
CONS:
* The lenses are acrylic (like plastic) so they are EASILY scratched! If you don't store these carefully, you'll end up just throwing them away since the lenses will quickly become too scratched to use.
* Magnification is not very high. These have approximately 2x and 3x lenses. A typical handheld magnifying glass is 2x or 3x and a jewelry loupe is typically 10x (to give you a comparison). I would have liked to see this with something like a 2x and a 5x. In other words, the 2nd more powerful lense on this unit is not very powerful at all and only offers a slight magnification over the 1st lense.
* Field of view on this is terrible! When switched to the 2nd lense (3x) I literally had to put the lense, i.e. my face, only 1 to 2 INCHES away from the item I was viewing. I felt like I was nearly touching it with my face! Not a problem when you're looking at jewelry; a big deal when your soldering electronics. I had to put my face VERY CLOSE to my solder work and consequently got a face full of lead smoke. Not to mention, one false move and I could have touch the skin on my face with the soldering iron. If you are not literally a couple of inches or less from your subject matter, the 3x lense is blurry and unusable. When using the 2x lense, you need to keep around 3 to 4 inches to it or it will be blurry. Since these are cheap acrylic lenses, there isn't any room for error--there is no adjustment or correction with these lenses. Basically, you have to be EXACTLY in the right spot to see your subject matter with this magnifier; other wise, it will blur.
* It comes in a carboard box only. This magnifier--with its fragile, acrlyic lenses--did NOT come with a storage bag or box. I store mine by wrapping them in a cotton washcloth and keeping them in the box. Without a silk or satin storage bag, the risk of the lenses getting scratched is pretty high. In my opinion, this should have come with a storage bag or container to protect the lenses.
In summary: Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who does small hobby work that doesn't require soldering or anything that generates smoke or heat (e.g. hot gluing, wood burning, etc). There are better, more expensive units out there for the pros but if you're on a budget or you are just a hobbiest, this one should be fine. If you have the money to spare, there are better magnifying hoods on the market.
It is mostly plastic so I don't know how well it will hold up, but at $20 I wasn't expecting it to be too robust. Given the price I am very pleased.
I am going to order a second one so I can have one at home and one at work.

I bought this to be able do repairs on my electric guitars and basses, my wife's jewelry, and various electronics. For those tasks, it is a decent magnifier. I'll keep this review very simple by just listing the pros and cons.PROS:

I used this magnifier to help out an elderly disabled lady who had broken off the key in the switch of her electric scooter. The extra magnification allowed me to lift the rest of the key out by using the sharp points of sewing needles. Until I put the magnifier on I was having difficulty seeing what I was doing. I've tried several different magnifiers, this one is my favorite. The lenses are clear and give a good field of view without a lot of chromatic aberration. I really like the extra flip down lenses for additional magnification, this is great for close up work.It is mostly plastic so I don't know how well it will hold up, but at $20 I wasn't expecting it to be too robust. Given the price I am very pleased.

I've always used Strathmore Watercolor Blocks. Although the quality of Strathmore is nice, now that I've used Arches I can't imagine using anything else. Arches seems to be in a category all it's own when it comes to paper quality. Arches is substantially thicker, holds water and color very well, and when using the watercolor block does not buckle even when using a lot of water. You can use tons of water and layers of paint, and it never effects the paper underneath the piece you're working on. I couldn't be happier. The needle sizes are a good range of three sizes for various projects. What makes this a really great product though is the case.The plastic is brightly colored so it is easy to find when it's not quite where I thought I left it, or if it rolls out and gets buried in the larger section of my bag.
It's a nice size, can hold different or more needles if desired, but isn't too big taking up space nor too small making it hard to find.
The lid is a screw cap so no worries about it popping off and the needles going missing.
The lid also has a hole nicely placed so you can put a tie through it and then attach the needle case to something if desired. Very handy!
All in all a very nice design--a big bonus for me as I was after needles (and a set of three was perfect) with the case being a pleasant surprise.

I have had one of these Chibi kits for years--and the newer ones come with a translucent body, so you can see your needles inside. (Nothing like opening it up when you are ready to do grafting and find that it's empty because you forgot to put the needles back inside!)Here are two hints:
1. The tab on the side of the lid has a little hole. You can put a safety pin or very thin ribbon or piece of yarn through it. Then you tie it or pin it to your knitting project bag--or even inside your purse. I have mine inside a denim project bag, a small one, that I use for sock knitting. You will never be searching for a darning needle. It will be right there, and you won't lose the top as it will be tethered to your bag.
2. Bent-point needles are easier for grafting and darning, as you can lift up loops onto the bent portion of the needle. Clover makes a set of two needles that are light gold in color, making it easy to see dark yarn stitches. I put these two in the Chibi along with one of the straight needles.

Cheap New Black Velvet Female Mannequin Left Hand Model Retail Shop
Well made, and suits my purposes perfectly. It is a little thin, so not quite the size of an adult female hand, but rings and bracelets (I make hand flowers) still fit and look pretty. It tends to collect lint and dust though due to the velvety texture, so use tape or a roller before photographing!

I like the ease of marking with the chalk, however I discovered that removing the red & orange colors from my quilt was a difficult process. I also used blue chalk on the same quilt & the blue washed right out. The red/orange had to be scrubbed off with soap & a toothbrush which was quite a project on a king size quilt. My 5 year old son brings this paint out every few weeks and enjoys using it. Best part is it is easy to clean. What child does not like to paint! Buying it from amazon is the easy part too!
Overall, my son LOVES painting with this stuff. I just have to be sure to grab the paper when he's done to blot off the excess and hang his "masterpiece" to dry.
My main complaint about this, is that the color of the "paint" is only on the lid of each container. My son likes to open all of the lids and then go wild painting. But there's no way to be selective in color choice. I think this takes away from the "creative" experience as he is blindly slapping gel on paper rather than selecting from, reinforcing the colors he is learning in school.
I know my kid isn't Picasso, I just don't see why they can't put a color dot on the bottom so when you look in the container, it shows the color through the clear gel. Just sayin'.

we have this set in the tangled version. it is great! mess free & keeps them buys for hours. i do suggest tearing pages out for painting & hanging them up as soon as the kids a re finished painting them. the paint tends to stay tacky for a while. we have 4 pages that are now one because she just flipped the page when she was done & moved on to the next page. this is not really a problem just a little aggravating if they are making pictures for a family member. i recommend this product to everyone!Best Deals for Crayola Color Wonder Spiderman Gift Set

Crayola provides a consistent source of affordable, durable, long-lasting markers. These fine line markers hold out well with regular use and I find the tips aren't smudged down as easily as other brands. I don't have to worry about the markers drying out quickly I mean, who likes a marker that dries out after a week? So yes, Crayola it is and these specifically work great if they are into fine details or looking to get colorful with their writing (in more ways than one). These are good, sturdy, vibrant markers with a nice smooth, inky flow. I bought these for my niece, who loves to color, and she hides these from her brothers and sisters as if they were of made of gold. To her, they are, our little Picasso in training.I recommend getting them for your little Picasso too.

The package itself was in good condition. Inside all the stickers had lost their adhesiveness and were lose and warped scattered throughout the package. Because they are warped the thick cardstock cannot even be glued at this point onto the scrapbook paper. They are completely useless -extremely disappointed. I will have to go buy all new stickers.

I needed more birthday stuff to help with all my birthday pictures (I don't have kids, so the birthday parties were full of adults) and couldn't find any adult-themed or non-childish goodies. This kit is great. It has stickers and paper and those cardboard designs you trace from (I never use those, so that was pointless, but some people do, so they're great).
