Package contains a sharpener, the pencil cartridge, as well as 8 sticks of colored chalk and 9 sticks of white, 1 of which is inside the pencil when you open it. The sharpener works fine. The pencil cartridge was too stiff at first, but has loosened up with use; you just push down on the yellow knob at the top and the teeth of the pencil move out and open up, then you can easily extract the stick of chalk inside and put in a different color. You can use any chalk stick in the pencil cartridge, not just those provided by the manufacturer. The chalk sticks come in a little black box that protects them from breaking. It's nice to have different colors to choose from. I had been using white and blue water-soluble pencils, but they either didn't mark the fabric or they marked it too heavily, so this chalk is much better.

I really needed a marking tool when creating my own patterns before converting them to paper, this set was perfect with the different colors and great pen! Not sure if I'd ever need to use the sharpener with how skinny they are but it's good to have.

*Just keep in mind that if you have a full chalk stick in the pen, DON'T DROP IT!! I hadn't even thought about it, then when I went to change the color, all the little pieces came out then thought DUH!

Purchased this to mark on black fabric, the cartridge fell apart and broke after two days. We are just holding the chalk with our fingers, The chalk works OK. I don't believe that this is made in Germany.

Maybe you can purchase the chalk without the cartridge,

This thread is working great for my embroidery machine. I've been using it for a couple months now, and haven't ever had any breaks. It looks great in all the designs I've done so far. I ordered all 4 sets, and there are no repeat colours (except black and white) but some of the colours are very, very similar.

Review of Pink Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set

Customer Ratings:

This was my first set of interchangeable needles. I did SO much research, trying to find the BEST one! I liked that my purchase would also support breast cancer research. Unfortunately, the cables came undone too many times for me to keep them. I will keep searching...

2" Birthday Candles (72 Count) - Blue Reviews

Customer Ratings:

I needed 99 candles for a particular celebration I was holding, and these did the trick. They lit relatively easily, which is really all I could have asked for. You can't beat the price for basic candles when you need them en masse.

Cheap Cricut 12-by-12-Inch Tacky Cutting Mats with Measurement Grids, Set

Customer Ratings:

I don't know why these mats are not as sticky as the other mats. These mats are not even as sticky as the glue on the back of a memo sticky note.

First of all ..since you have no choice, you have to use this mat. But it is NOT sticky at all and the paper has fallen off during cutting ruining my projects.

I don't like it at all.

Best Deals for Cricut 12-by-12-Inch Tacky Cutting Mats with Measurement Grids, Set

BUMMER! These are not sticky. For goodness sakes, that's the whole point--a sticky mat that fits the cricut machine. After ruining paper and wasting time, I sprayed them with spray adhesive (carefully, you can't get adhesive on the edges or they won't track through the machine). That has worked, so if you've already bought these and are frustrated, try the spray adhesive.

This mat is NOT sticky at all! DO NOT BUY IT! What is the point of this mat if it doesn't do what it was made for?

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I even wrote the company. I can't believe these made it to market. I am searching the old style and buying in bulk before they are discontinued.

Discount Midwest Products 3019 Railroad Cork N Cork Roadbed

Customer Ratings:

I am a first-time user of this product (and I'm essentially a newbie at N scale model railroading...). And it *is* incredibly easy to use. The 36" lengths are ideal for my layout and cutting pieces for turns and such was a no-sweat operation. For a while I ran half my layout using this product and the other half without to see if I noticed a significant noise reduction...and I'm happy to say I certainly did. But there was still enough click-a-dee-clack to satisfy my 'realism' needs...lol. And, yes, this stuff certainly adds a cool ballast look to the surrounding layout material.

The cork material is firm and not crumbly at all. The bevel on the edges is nicely done...again, looks pretty 'real'. The thickness and width is *very* consistent along each 36" piece. Easy to cut and manipulate. Highly recommended.

Review of Aunt Martha's Iron On Transfer Patterns for Stitching, Embroidery

Customer Ratings:

Aunt Martha patterns are some of the best on the market. I do machine embroidery and they are easy to digitize and stitch out. There is more variety than I have seen anywhere. For the money you can't beat the quality.

Enjoy!!!

There was one sheet of Southwestern designs. This is not at all what I expected in a variety package of kitchen stencils to put on tea towels. It was also way overpriced. Make your own from clip art or create your own if you can't find another source.

Honest reviews on Aunt Martha's Iron On Transfer Patterns for Stitching, Embroidery

My first experiance with this seller. I was sent the wrong merchandise and when I notified the seller, they immediately issued me a refund for this item and I was very please with their acknowledgement of the issue. I reordered the item that I had requested and it was received within 3 days even tho i opted for the standard shipping. I have been using these transfers and have found them to be very good and plan to use the rest of the transfers and towels that I have ordered. All seem to be very good quality and the transfers are of a variety that I could not find in our local stores. I was very happy that I was able to find the motifs I was looking for.

I would recommend this seller and these transfers and the towels also.

I just received these and am happy with the variety of the designs. Ordering them on line saved me a lot of time that I can put to better use relaxing and reacquainting myself with this old form of artistic expression. Teach a young person this skill today; you will be remembered fondly by them for years to come.

A pack of 2 cutting mats is actually 4 because they are reversible. If you have a Carl cutter that is starting to cut jagged edges, you probably need a new mat. They simply drop into place and it is like new!! Fast shipping and worth every penny.

I love the Nestabilities series by Spellbinder. It saves a lot of room for small craft rooms, they are perfectly spaced for layered projects and convenient to use in most all die cut systems. I use mine with Cuddlebug and Sizzix.

everyone in the crafting worlds knows how nice spellbinder dies are...so all I can say is they are a wonderful product!

Honest reviews on Spellbinders Nestabilities Petite Scalloped Circles Die Template

This is a set of dies I use often. I would like to see more petite die sets from Spellbinders in other sets as well, but haven't found any. I especially like the way only the tips of the scallops are visible outside a circle diecut, giving the combination a more petite and delicate appearance with just a touch of color around the inner circle. This will continue to be a favorite die set of mine.

I bought this because I decorate cakes with fondant and gumpaste. It's very hard to find the right tools in my area so I have to improvise. I use this tool to create different edible objects for cakes.

It's easy to use but a little time consuming. The press is like a screw...instead of just pumping the material out, you have to twist, and twist, and twist. The discs are great; you can create so many things!!

It is hard to clean, but my standards of clean are probably a little higher since it's being used for food.

Overall, I would say it is a good investment for me.

This clay extruder should not be considered just a toy. It is a wonderful accessory for clay artists, beginners as well as seasoned. It would be great if on the packaging there was mention of other accessories available and a picture or two of completed projects. That, to my way of thinking would promote sales. The Makin Extruder is the best in this price range, my opinion. Do buy one and search out projects on the net. Kids, with some supervision, with patience and a love of working with polymer clay would be amazed what they could accomplish using their imagination and this tool.

Best Deals for Makin's Professional Ultimate Clay Extruder

For those of you who have tried to force hard clay through a sub par extruder you will love this! It makes clay extrusion a snap! The only problem that I can see so far is that the black ring that comes with it is awkward.

Honest reviews on Makin's Professional Ultimate Clay Extruder

I bought this extruder from a local store for use with fondant and gumpaste. This extruder is definitely easier to use than the push models. The twist handle, though still tiring from the repetitive motion, is much easier and takes less strength. That said, the metal is very thin on this model, and the threaded ends where you screw on the cap that holds the disc are very weak. I knew from a few other reviews that this model was delicate, so I tried to be gentle with it. I wish I'd headed the reviews. Mine literally split along the threading during the second use, and I had to return it. I bought the Walnut Hollow extruder as a replacement. The Walnut Hollow has a more comfortable crank handle and a more sturdy, thicker metal design than the Makin, with all the same discs AND a plastic storage case. I'm more pleased with the Walnut Hollow extruder. Walnut Hollow Clay Extruder Set

This is a wonderful tool to use with fondant and gumpaste. I have always hand rolled my ropes which took forever and never were perfectly even. With a twist of the handle and the right tip I get perfect ropes, hair, tassels and other shapes. I highly recommend this tool for cake decorators and sculpters.
