My 5 year old son brings this paint out every few weeks and enjoys using it. Best part is it is easy to clean. What child does not like to paint! Buying it from amazon is the easy part too!

we have this set in the tangled version. it is great! mess free & keeps them buys for hours. i do suggest tearing pages out for painting & hanging them up as soon as the kids a re finished painting them. the paint tends to stay tacky for a while. we have 4 pages that are now one because she just flipped the page when she was done & moved on to the next page. this is not really a problem just a little aggravating if they are making pictures for a family member. i recommend this product to everyone!

In looking at other reviews, I was prepared for the product to be more like gel than paint; and understood that giving it to a two-year-old was a risk I was taking on myself.

Overall, my son LOVES painting with this stuff. I just have to be sure to grab the paper when he's done to blot off the excess and hang his "masterpiece" to dry.

My main complaint about this, is that the color of the "paint" is only on the lid of each container. My son likes to open all of the lids and then go wild painting. But there's no way to be selective in color choice. I think this takes away from the "creative" experience as he is blindly slapping gel on paper rather than selecting from, reinforcing the colors he is learning in school.

I know my kid isn't Picasso, I just don't see why they can't put a color dot on the bottom so when you look in the container, it shows the color through the clear gel. Just sayin'.
