I bought this kit after I purchased the other 9 piece jewelry kit from Beadaholique. Even though it costs a bit more, it is well worth it. These handles are way more comfortable. While I am using these the hours just fly by and I dont realize how long I have been beading for because my hands never get tired or cramped. I love these tools and I love the versatility of each piece.

I price shopped the tools online and in stores. If you buy the tools separately then you pay more money. Amazon had the best price for the best kit. These tools are great for those starting out, it has everything you need if you want to bead or make jewelry. I just want to bead for now. The case is handy to keep the tools together and to carry around.

Finally these tools felt very good in my hands. I noticed I needed to buy a second pliers because my hands could not hold the wire on both ends for very long. I bought the same brand pliers but not Ergonomic for more money in a store. Wow, I could tell the difference. The ergonomic Beadsmith pliers were much easier to hold than the regular Beadsmith pliers. I highly recommend getting the ergonomic tool kit, especially if your hands get tired fast like mine.

This kit has some great tools for making and fixing jewelry, but I wouldn't say that it is necessarily ergonomic. I bought it specifically because my hand and arm began to experience pain from my first set of pliers and it was a disappointment to realize that these were no better than the set I was trying to replace.

The only difference between these tools and the first set I bought was that this variety is much more useful. The included tools are good choices. Ergonomic, notsomuch.

I went to home depot and looked at the pliers. I found some really good pliers for when I have to cut metal and can't use my dremel. The heavy duty pliers are more ergonomic. The smaller the tool, the more strain you will place on your own hand. That's been my recent experience.

I am a beginning beader. I just started to make jewelry so I do not know a lot yet. But what I do know is that this set has made it a lot easier for me in my jewelry making. The tools are smaller and fit in my hand quite comfortably. I like the kit best because the tools stay organized and I know where each specific tool is when I first open it.

I am very happy I purchased these & feel the price was good. They were well worth it.

The quality is what I was looking for, I don't want to have to replace tools, these will hold up.

I like the compact black case, keeps them all together, very nice case for very nice tools.

I have arthritis in my hands & am happy that the tools seem to work with very little pressure or effort, quite comfortable.

Also the cutters are very sharp & the edges very well approximated....no gaps what so ever.

No sense using cheap tools when you are trying to do something...these are a "buy".

I picked up a few Gingher scissors for myself and the wife and for use in our sewing/crafts room. Never in my life of 61 years have I got cut with any scissors, until I got the 5" dressmaker scissors. I snipped a thread and my finger tip was just a bit too far towards the scissors tip and the result was 6 stitches at the ER. These are perhaps the best scissors I have ever had or that is made, and the price is more than reasonable. Highly recomend Ginghers over any currently available scissors youfind in big box stores and most specialty shops as well as on line. This is an essential part of any tailor or dressmaker's tool kit. The 5 inch sharp/blunt is the best tool for things like grading seams, clipping to notches, setting pocket welts, opening buttonholes, and much more. I keep a pair at the machine and another at the bench.

So far as this specific brand and model, the quality is excellent. They are super sharp. A screw allows adjustment as they may need it. They are made of heavy steel. So there is no problem at all with cutting through fabric plus interlining, plus interfacing, plus lining, all doubled at a corner.

So if you are buying for a serious sewer, be confident in this one. With a rotary cutter, an embroidery scissor, and this, you can make anything.

I am new to Airbrushing. I did a lot of research and settled on this kit, based on youtube reviews, amazon reviews and resources such as Don Wheeler's Airbrushing tips (search for Don's Airbrushing Tips, he has many good reviews of various brushes). I do not use the G22 airbrush since it is not very beginner friendly (according to reviews and my very limited experience). I bought a Badger 105 Patriot with a fine tip and I like it better than the G22. (it needs a male quick disconnect tip to be compatible with this quick connect). Whatever airbrush you decide to get, it's suggested to get another needle as a backup. I got a medium conversion kit for the Badger patriot as well, both as a back up and because a larger needle is more forgiving with regard to clogging.

I feel that this kit is great for a beginner to intermediate user. There is good value in what is included, purchasing the compressor, paints, and airbrush cleaning pot (the glass jar) adds up to nearly the price of this package.

The mixing sticks are like tongue depressors (I break them in 1/2 or 1/4's so they feel more appropriately sized). The paint set included 5 primary colors in the "opaque" line, 6 colors in the transparent line, and a pearlized white. The manual recommends giving a 15 minute rest break for every 10 minutes of use, and the air compressor will get hot after a while, but it will continue operating. Since my main purpose is to airbrush wargaming miniatures and terrain for said miniatures this works for me.

For practice exercises I would suggest checking "airbrushtutor" on youtube, or on his site. For gaming miniatures I would suggest checking out SchnauzerFaceMinis (youtube or site as well). Happy airbrushing.

I purchased this for my Dad for christmas and he has absolutely enjoyed using it. He uses it to paint wood mostly and it has done very well. The kit provided him with everything he needed to get started, so he didn't have to wait for a store to open to go buy something to make it work. It was all there. Plugged it in, poured some paint and now everything around the house is a different color...lol. In fact he has purchased even more equipment. There was no instructional DVD, as listed in the item description. Assembly instructions are very sparse. I can't speak to the quality of the included airbrush, as I'm using it with a unit that I already had. The compressor is very quiet and works well. The paints included appear to be good quality standard brands, in opaque and translucent. Everything was well packaged and undamaged. Overall, I'm very pleased, for the price.

Picked up a set of these up at the local art store, to try something different. I've tried a lot of different brands of lining markers, and these are the only ones that hold a candle to microns. Great quality, nice crisp lines, and the nibs don't seem as fragile as microns. Will definitely buy these again. Seem pretty reliable so far, which is a must have in the work place. Seem to hold true to the copic reputation.

I am a scrapbooker and cardmaker. Even though I already have a Cricut Expression that I love, I also love the the Slice because of it's compact size. For the longest time, I believed that light tables were expensive. I had seen many models in art stores in the $200-$400 price range which is much more than I could afford. I was thrilled to find this product which is much cheaper. I have used high end light tables before in offices and I am happy to say that the performance of this product is comparable to other tables which I have used. I especially like the fact that the table is slanted which makes drawing on it much easier. It also has a place to put pens and pencils at the top which I find quite handy. The table is a bit bulky, but it is light enough to be portable.

Currently, I am using this product to aid in developing hand drawings from sketchup models. The light is bright enough that I can see through several layers of trace paper. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought these based on the glowing reviews I read and found myself disappointed. Perhaps the product quality has declined since those reviews were written.

The lids are poorly fitted, and they leak like sieves. They are possibly okay for beads or fishing flies, but they don't have the advertised "most secure closure." They certainly can't be used "to store art paint" or ground spices as the product description claims. Anything wet or powdery travels along the closure threads to the outside of the container. I can never use the ones I received for salves or balms as one reviewer did. Since it would cost more to ship them back than it cost to buy them, they aren't worth returning.

Edit addendum: I submitted a photo which demonstrated leakage (using "art paint"), but for some reason, my picture was deleted.

I bought this hoping to use it on a cornhole set we made. The product does glow, but it gives a yellow-green cast to whatever it's painted on. Our set was black, white and hot pink, and on our test board, none of the colors looked very good with this over them.

If you planning to use it for something that will only be seen while glowing or for things that the greenish tint in the light won't matter, it works really well for the price.

and was painting it on everything.... well, not everything, but I experimented on glass, plastic, and rubber. I have an UV blacklight, so I just have to flash it for literally 1 second to see it light up bright. Of course a longer exposure means longer lasting glow. (I got the light on Amazon last year. Also, very fun to play with and only needs 3 AAA batteries.UV Blacklight Flashlight By Ultra Light) LED's are better but more expensive.

I don't know what it means by "sealer" though. Sealing what? What does it seal? To me a sealer is something that does not wash off with soap and water. Like a gloss or polishing finish. I don't really care. I'm just having fun with it. Nothing serious.

The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it didn't seem different thatn any other glow product I've gotten around Halloween time. Also, the product I received looks like it was used and returned, and I didn't get it any cheaper. You can tell it was sampled. From the picture it looks like a new product.

Like many glow in the dark products unless your planning on shining a black light right on it all night long then it probably is not going to be worth the effort and price of putting it on something. I tried several this year for Halloween and was disappointed with all of them.

If you are looking for some acrylic paints in a variety of colors, pick something else. The amount of paint supplied is very small. This may be a good set for a young model maker.

I seldom do oil pastels, but for the occasional project, these are fine. The colors are bright and the ones that would be most used for a general project ( I was doing flowers). They worked well on the Strathmore 400 Series Artagain black pad which I purchased at the same time.

I have been scrapbooking/card making for over 10 years.Have always used standard chalk sets found @ Michael's or eksuccess tower ones. I am very surprised and pleased with the quality of these Pebbles chalks. You don't have to overload your applicator; colors are true; the applicator w/ alligator clip for cotton is easy to use. I had always used q-tips or cotton balls but learned that the multi-size cotton balls that come w/ the set are easier to use and more practical. I have bought the brights and earth tone sets. I would recomment either to anyone wanting to use chalks.

I love all my Pebbles chalk collections, really good quality, gorgeous colors. I wouldn't recommend using the little tool with the small cotton balls that come with the collection though. There are many good tutorials on how to color stamped images with chalk online.
