I find these smaller molds perfect for when I am on a pour where I have a small amount of excess but not enough to fill my regular 3D molds. These smaller molds are great because you can pour at various amounts and they come out looking complete.

This mold is perfect, I poured it immediately and loved it. A+ rating for all the molds I've bought from Longzang. I was a little bummed that I placed an order of three molds, then realized they were shipped direct from China, just make sure to place a fairly large order to be a little more environmentally friendly. The molds were expected between 1/22/13 & 2/22/13, I received them on 1/21/13, ahead of schedule. They ship right away, but remember they have to travel around the world!

hey guys, this product is definitely not a 55 dollar value, and even 20 is pushing it. I should have listened to the chic who mentioned the plastic beads..they are so tacky. My issue is the instruction booklet. I was looking forward to opening it and finding all sorts of interesting projects. Unfortunately this was not the case. The booklet was 80% about the stuff you will need for jewelry making and what they were for. However, a lot of the stuff were not included in this purchase.The instructions are very half way as well. I would say about 10% of this booklet was made up of halfway instructions for projects and the other 10% were the halfway instructions in other languages.I was very disappointed in this product its not what its seems like from looking at the box.

The beads were plastic, which I didn't see written anywhere in the description, so they aren't very attractive. I'll have to go buy glass beads to make anything and they really aren't that expensive. It would be a good kit if they had included less glass beads rather than more plastic ones. The rest of the kit is good, and I like the tool but, honestly, those plastic beads are AWFUL !

This kit is okay for getting familiar with lots of different findings. There wasn't much for tools, but the three in one is helpful. The beads are pretty cheesy. The bead-board is flimsy. I guess I like the whole kit just well enough to go ahead and keep it. Did I get what I paid for? No, I think this kit should have gone for about $12. I paid twice that.

My daughter received this kit as a 10th birthday gift. While the contents may not be as exciting or professional for an adult jewelry maker, we found it to be *excellent* for my daughter to start dappling with ideas. In just the first day, she was able to make 3 pairs of *beautiful* earrings (that even I would wear), and a nice bracelet for a friend. All of the kits we've found for children nowadays are fairly cheesy and cheap. This kit has given her a great confidence and starting point. And the quality of the finished product is very decent, even by adult standards.

I have not noticed any drag on any type of yarn or thread used. I wasn't sure how I was going to like white hooks. But these crochet hooks are so pretty, each hook is labeled too so you know the hook. Plus, the box it come in is wood with a beautiful design on the cover and has a slip type lock.

I am new to Airbrushing. I did a lot of research and settled on this kit, based on youtube reviews, amazon reviews and resources such as Don Wheeler's Airbrushing tips (search for Don's Airbrushing Tips, he has many good reviews of various brushes). I do not use the G22 airbrush since it is not very beginner friendly (according to reviews and my very limited experience). I bought a Badger 105 Patriot with a fine tip and I like it better than the G22. (it needs a male quick disconnect tip to be compatible with this quick connect). Whatever airbrush you decide to get, it's suggested to get another needle as a backup. I got a medium conversion kit for the Badger patriot as well, both as a back up and because a larger needle is more forgiving with regard to clogging.

I feel that this kit is great for a beginner to intermediate user. There is good value in what is included, purchasing the compressor, paints, and airbrush cleaning pot (the glass jar) adds up to nearly the price of this package.

The mixing sticks are like tongue depressors (I break them in 1/2 or 1/4's so they feel more appropriately sized). The paint set included 5 primary colors in the "opaque" line, 6 colors in the transparent line, and a pearlized white. The manual recommends giving a 15 minute rest break for every 10 minutes of use, and the air compressor will get hot after a while, but it will continue operating. Since my main purpose is to airbrush wargaming miniatures and terrain for said miniatures this works for me.

For practice exercises I would suggest checking "airbrushtutor" on youtube, or on his site. For gaming miniatures I would suggest checking out SchnauzerFaceMinis (youtube or site as well). Happy airbrushing.

There was no instructional DVD, as listed in the item description. Assembly instructions are very sparse. I can't speak to the quality of the included airbrush, as I'm using it with a unit that I already had. The compressor is very quiet and works well. The paints included appear to be good quality standard brands, in opaque and translucent. Everything was well packaged and undamaged. Overall, I'm very pleased, for the price.

I was really excited when I saw this in a magazine ad and then even more excited when I found it here on Amazon. I got it fairly quickly by UPS, and when I opened it, it was a little big bigger than I had "pictured" it to be in my mind. Okay, I can deal with a bigger trimmer. I guess I didn't fully read the description (I thought it came with 7 blades...it doesn't; only three, but there is a place to add 4 more.) Okay, no big deal, it has the basic cutting blades, I can deal with that. My major disappointment came when I used the product. It doesn't cut very well. Now, maybe I just need to practice some more and maybe it is just a "user issue," but I have to run the blade over a couple times to get a cut, and then it doesn't make a "clean" cut. I am a "rotary-cutter-only" kind of gal, and have used many types of these, but this one just doesn't make the grade for the price point that it is. Sorry to write a negative review, but others should be aware of the issues that I have experienced. On the plus side, the cutting blades change out very easily, and it is very heavy duty; just doesn't cut very cleanly.

I was excited to try out this trimmer because the ads claimed that the blades could be changed easily & safely... but was worried after reading multiple reviews that said it doesn't make clean cuts.

Decided to get it anyway and I'm glad I did... it took 3 or 4 tries to get the hang of it, but it DOES make clean cuts.

You have to press down on the slider & keep it pressed down throughout the entire cut. This is because the blades are completely enclosed in the cartridges for safe handling. So, in order to make a cut, the blade needs to be pushed down out of the cartridge. You don't have to press hard but you do have to press down for the entire cut, or else the blade won't be available for the entire cut.

Giving it 4 stars because I really like how the blades are enclosed (safe to handle) & easy to swap, and the trimmer works as designed. However, it's not my favorite trimmer. It's not the most user-friendly trimmer for straight cuts but it's great for the other cuts (wave, scallop, pinking, etc)

I hope you don't need to make any 6.5 inch cuts with this, as there's no line marker. The green part of the board ends just past 6" and doesn't start again until just before 7. I believe the exact stop and start is 6.25 and 6.875, but if you (like me) make a lot of 5x7 cards and want to make layers, you will not enjoy this cutter.

I also have a hard time getting a perfectly straight cut. It's not that the clamping bar wobbles, but the blade runner does. If you can dedicate a solid surface to this beast of a cutter, and stand to cut while making a firm, single push with your arm, you will enjoy this cutter.

I find myself reaching for the Cutterpede whose arm I've taped back together (and bought this to replace!) 9 times out of 10.

The kit costs not much more than a brayer alone, and that brayer comes with a linoleum block, a carving tool, and ink. That is a pretty good deal. The tray is made of Styrofoam, but it works in a pinch and I have used it a couple of times with no problems. This is a starter kit, not an advanced kit and as such it is a great deal. I may actually get another one.

Over all this is a pretty good "starter kit" but I'd like to warn you of a few problems (or issues) I came across:

* The linoleum block is HARD. Way too hard, especially for someone just starting out with linocuts. (I kept thinking that this was sad because it might scare people away from linocuts because they may think it wasn't worth the physical exertion of carving into this hard linoleum. Every cut my cutter was skipping, snagging and flying off the block. I was grunting like a crazy person lol) I'm not saying it's impossible to cut, but it is NOT smooth like other linoleums. You can hurt yourself struggling to make lines in it.

Do what I did: buy the BENCH HOOK along with this kit. It helped a whole lot. I bought the Speedball bench hook on here for about $9-10. Well worth the investment. It's "dual purpose" (meaning you can also use it as the ink tray)

* Came with a very cheapy styrofoam tray to roll the ink in. It's the type of styrofoam tray you might find packed meats on at the grocery store. I feel they could have added maybe a PLASTIC tray or a non-porous sheet of vinyl or some other material. You could buy a small sheet of plexiglass at some place like Lowe's which I did a few days before receiving this which would work perfectly for rolling the ink on. (I purchased it to do monoprints... but it's OK because the ink is WATER SOLUBLE... meaning you can wash it off, no problem.)

* The cutters sometimes comes lose. I tightened it very tightly but if you angle some of the cutters a certain way, they essentially come undone. (I didn't mark off for this; I'm just warning people.) I think the more you use the cutters, the more you'll understand it and how to hold it, how much pressure it can take, etc.

* The "directions" are pretty much worthless. Really, a waste of paper. They don't tell you how to change the cutters (not everyone will understand how... luckily I had nib pens that use almost the same method of switching nibs.) They don't tell you how to clean up or store the block. I suggest looking on youtube and doing a browser search.

You only get one block, so I would also order up some extra linoleum... because you will definitely be hooked once you see your prints! (I actually ordered unmounted linoleum from Dick Blick because they had much better deals that the ones I found on Amazon & m local Micheal's no longer sells printmaking supplies.)

So after drawing out my design of a lady's face and transferring the design to the block, I took about 3 hours of carving. It had some minute details that I thought I'd be able to get done neatly... but because the block was so hard, I did find my cutter snagging quite a bit. I'm surprised I didn't cut myself at all! Everyone's always saying how dangerous this can be, so I was almost expecting it.

I will say I am very happy with how my prints came out. I really thought my first linocut prints would come out pretty crappy but I really do think it came out beautifully.

Would I recommend this kit? Sure, just beware of what I mentioned above.

I have recently began coloring as a stress reliever and to keep my hands busy. (Nervous nail biting habit otherwise) I found these at Michael's for 20, but then of course researched here and found them for less. I have posted a few pictures, hopefully to help interested buyers get an idea of the colors included. There is an excellent variety in this set. The markers so far have proven bold and well inked. Highly recommend cardstock or better. :)

My only complaint would be the packaging, but I am the kind of person who is willing to put in a little effort to customize my 'setup.' The markers come in a little plastic caddy that is somewhat flimsy. I have not had a problem with it falling apart or anything like that; it just sometimes tilts to one side and makes sliding the marker back into the two slots a little difficult. (When shifted, the bottom holes so not align with the top.)

Again, with regards to the packaging, the markers are not labeled by color, but rather by number. The set I purchased, the #s are gold and on a white background. This makes them a bit difficult to see. If you want your colors in a prismatic order, and are willing to invest a little time, You can label the lids by #, as I did, and make a corresponding chart. A little overboard I know, but I try to color symmetrically and so want the colors to 'flow'.

The #s that are listed on the markers correspond to a tiny, barely legible chart on the front of the plastic box it comes in. The colors shown are not at all true to the actual markers; they are shown against a black background and are very dark and dull. I have barely looked at the names, making a color chart made it irrelevant.

Still, aside from the original effort in organizing the markers, and a warning to move the caddy with a little care, I do recommend these markers as a really good deal with a decent variety and quality for the price.

I paint/draw for my own pleasure, so I did not want to spend big bucks for a professional set of markers. I have a 50 marker set by Crayola, wanted more "in-between" shades. One would assume that with 100 markers, every conceivable shade would be included. I felt that this set was lacking in pinks and yellows, also there is no white marker.

Function and longevity is fine. This may be petty, but it would be quite helpful to have the markers numbered or the colors named. To keep them from rolling around, I return them to their rack after use. Very dificult to find a specific marker to re-use if wanted, particulary if it is in a blue/green shade.

Too much money for what's there, stick with Crayola or go for the gold with a Tombow or Prismacolor set.

I really enjoy these markers. Acid free with great color lay down. But I didn't get 100 colors. Only about 88. Many duplicates so therefore was missing several colors. It's no huge deal, but a few colors I wanted weren't there. Still great art tools, but I feel a wee bit cheated. I am sure it was not the seller's fault, but manufacturer error.

I had a chance today to get several of these on sale. I had been wanting to try them for a long time. I have a Sizzix Big Kick machine. The instructions inside the folder with the dies were clear and easy to understand. Make the sandwich and run it through to cut the shape. All good. Then it gets considerably trickier and less infallable. The embossing stage was a joke. I followed all the instructions repeatedly and did not get one single cleanly embossed cut. The problem lies in the die cut moving around when you remove the original cutting pads. If the shape shifts the tiniest bit due to static you are in trouble. I tried multiple times and couldn't get a clean emboss. The embossing feature of these dies are what sets them apart. I went to the website as instructed for "tips" and found no help there whatsoever. Have to give these 2 thumbs down. Maybe with their dedicated machine it would work better, but who needs another piece of equipment cluttering up the work table?
