I started this last year, but was overwhelmed by the many small parts, many steps, etc. I just finished it (August, the next year). This kit, and I assume the other Bucilla kits, are not for the faint of heart. If you want it for Christmas, start it about July 4. The finished product looks good, but is rather sparkly with lots of sequins and beads. You cannot eliminate any of these because they are preprinted on the felt. The front of the stocking is rather heavy because of the layers of felt and stuffing. Nonetheless, it turned out to be amazing. I hope my granddaughter grows up to appreciate the amount of work that goes into such an undertaking. The kit was complete, good directions, enough materials. Just realize that there are 85 steps, some of which contain many similar parts (the holly garland, for instance, is one step, but it entails embroidering and sewing many holly leaves plus adding the sequins).

I found the directions easy to follow and my only complaint is that Bucilla needs to be a little more generous with the thread especially black, white and the christmas colors. The Bucilla 18-Inch Christmas Nativity Baby Stocking Felt Applique Kit was just what my wife was looking for in an heirloom quality stocking. She made the stocking for our newborn nephew. She has done several stockings by Bucilla and is very familiar with the quality of the stockings. She says that the stocking kits have more than enough materials to complete the stocking in case you lose a few things while putting the kit together. My wife and I would highly recommend this stocking kit to anyone interested in putting a Christmas stocking together in their spare time.

While I like Fantastix, they're still not the perfect applicator tool. They tend to inch their way out of their wrappers as you work with them, which makes them floppy and hard to control. They're also not sharpenable; that's a drawback too. That said, they seem to move color around more smoothly than a paper stump.

I bought this after I had ordered the embosser, but before it had arrived. I was unaware that the shim and mat came with the embosser bundle. Even though I do not need them now I am glad I have the extras because if, by chance, I should accidentally ruin one of them I will not have to wait for a replacement. This assortment of colors was disappointing, only 3 will I likely use, while one, the salt buff is terrible. I've even wondered if it might be cone 10 instead of 5, as it bubbled away from the clay body and appears to not be fully matured even though cone five was achieved. I wish I'd purchased the other potters choice assortment, or just hand selected colors, which I think would have cost about the same amount.

i bought these because in the description text on Amazon it is referred to as a low fire glaze. At the time I was going back and forth between glazes and browser windows and I decided that I needed "the low fire one" of those I was looking at. I caught that and ordered these, but I can't use them because my clay is Amaco #25 low fire clay, cone 06-05 and these are cone 5/6. Not a big deal, I've got some medium fire clay as well. Though I haven't used it yet, from reviews I've read since, having to research the possibility of using it with low fire clay (you can't), it is well liked glaze.

I bought them for a physics lab, and they get the job done. I'd prefer slightly larger ones, to be honest, but these work and I like them. If you need to do just some basic 'line of best fit' graphing, these work well.

If you want to create a swag of banners, or holly, or whatever, on your art project, this set of French Curves eliminates all the guessing about placement. There are so many sizes of curves available within this set, you simply fiddle with placement until the beginning and end of your curve suits you, then draw a pencil line against the edge of the French Curve, as you would a straight line with a ruler, and stamp or draw or glue your items (banners?) along that line.

But what I use French curves for the most is patching curved images my inked stamps left blank because the stamp isn't finely etched enough or the ink pad is too dry. Some people can repair their stamped work free-hand, but my free-hand repairs always end up looking like a kindergartner had an "oops!". The French Curves are see-through, so you can be sure your repair is exact.

For the price, you can't beat the joy of owning a set for those times when no other tool can do the job. That's not often, but often enough that you'll be happy you bought yourself a set of French Curves.

I have used this dye set to dye pre-finished silk scarves. I crumple the scarf up, squirt various colors onto the scrunched scarf, in any combination. Then I spray water lightly over the silk scarf to encourage the dye to migrate. The results are generally delightful, the process easy. And these small bottles of dye go a long way.

I had been looking for fabric ink for a long time but was put off by the ridiculously high price of other sets. I had never used fabric ink before and wanted to try out fabric painting without spending a lot of money on something I might not even enjoy. I finally found the Jacquard inks for a fraction of the cost of other brands and went on and ordered a set. The set is great. It works just exactly like the more expensive brands--I know because I paint on fabric with my neighbor, who uses the more expensive ink, so I am literally able to do a side-by-side comparison of the the two brands. I love these molds. I use just regular sculpey clay. They work great. I have discovered that if you mist them with water before pushing in the sculpey clay it helps it to not stick to the mold. Just a helpful hint. Anyway great detail and I couldn't be happier.

I am really delighted with this mold. I used it today for the inscription on a birthday cake using gum paste. I put the paste in the mold and put the mold in the freezer. The letters popped out easily and looked great.

Badger Air-Opaque airbrush paints seem to do o.k. out of the bottle. I am a novice and have about 2 hours of experience. I used them through a Master S68 airbrush and I am not sure if having a .35 needle will require me to thin this paint to avoid the clogging problem I encountered.
