I purchased these Acrylic paints for my 23 year old for Christmas and we were very disappointed in the quality of the paint. They are more like the water color paints that you have your little kids paint with. Very watery, and very grainy (if that's a word). :) I don't recommend these to anyone if your serious about painting...these are more on an elementary level.

I am very delighted with my purchase of this Paint set. The paint is more of a school grade acrylic then a fine artist acrylic which is OK since that's what i expected it to be. It tends to be less thick then fine quality acrylic or tube acrylic as most of us know them to be. I love the color selection in this set. it covers all the bases. i may need to purchase more white, but isn't that always the case in the classroom?

This is a terrific little tool set with its own zippered case. The jewelry pliers are a nice surprise, too, as they are a bit longer than another set I had. These 4 tools (Chain Nose Pliers with Cutter, Round Nose [jewelry] Plier, Flat Nose Plier, Side Cutter) are nicely made & easy to handle. There is also room in the case to add a couple of other tools (I carry my memory wire cutter in this case also). Very happy with this purchase!

These tools are inexpensive and work well for what they are. The cutters are sharp so far and the plier ends meet evenly when closed. No complaints.

The four pliers are with little rusty. The whole box is a little dirty looks like it just come from factory dirty warehouse. It let me feel not very good. They can be cleaned by normal paper or a wash cloth. Anyway, the four pliers can work well so far. So I give 3 stars for pliers. Before delivery, it'd better to clean the whole package with pliers. If it is clean, I would rate 5 star.

While I like Fantastix, they're still not the perfect applicator tool. They tend to inch their way out of their wrappers as you work with them, which makes them floppy and hard to control. They're also not sharpenable; that's a drawback too. That said, they seem to move color around more smoothly than a paper stump.

Instead of crisp, clear images, they were smudgy using the stamp press. Even the outline edges of the stamps were made visible in the finished product. I no longer use the stamp press, but I do use the stamps when I need to create my own sentiments, etc. It is a bit tedious getting all the letters lined up properly, so I don't use it ofter.

I wish I looked up the reviews before I purchased this stamp kit. If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself not to buy this and save myself the $30. I tried using this kit on 3 separate occasions, but I've just given up. Now I stamp by hand using the stamp block it comes with.

Pros: comes with lots of letters to create phrases

Cons: a lot of adjustments are required to ensure each letter stamps clearly and legibly; time consuming; does not come with a storage kit for the letters

I bought this for my niece, she loves Monster High. Overall I'm not really impressed about the product. She opened it Christmas Eve and instantly starting drawing. The markers that are included in the set are horrible and cheap. The black and brown pens were completely dried out. The pictures that are displayed on the cover show drawings used from colored pencils. If you are giving this as a gift I would suggest including a pack of colored pencils to go with it. Besides the markers being useless the rest of the set is somewhat creative. The tote is made of plastic and cardboard. There is an assortment of stencils that have many different types of clothing and accessories to draw. The paper in the notebook already has a silhouette outline of each Monster High character, all you need to do is add the clothing outlines and color. This is not the best gift I have ever purchased, and I defiantly paid more than it's worth.

Very fun a creative art kit...The only flaw would be the markers that are included. I would also purchase more durable higher quality markers. Besides that it is a load of fun to design outfits. Very creative time consuming product will keep your tween busy for quite a while :)

Got this for my daughter's birthday and must say I'm quite disappointed. First, the description says tote. What it really is is a cardboard accordion file with handles. Second, the markers were dried out. I'm giving the product a 3 because the design pad that comes with it is really nice and she loves it. That's the only good thing about this and honestly, I could have purchased the pad separately for a quarter of the cost. I did it this way so she could have the tote. Now I'm out the money for this plus I need to go find her a Monster High tote because we promised her one for her birthday.

I should have bought the item at Target and paid a couple extra dollars since I had to buy markers and she wasn't able to use it until I bought the markers. I could not get a replacement and it was more to ship it back than just keep it. If I bought this from Target, I could have exchanged the item easily.

Very disappointed in this product because it is all about creating your own art and the pens do not work. They were dried up upon arrival. I would return it if I could tear it away from my daughter who just got it for her birthday, and has been drawing in it nonstop. Basically have to use other pens, and we paid $18 for what amounts to spiral bound photocopies and a file folder that may not last.

I used these clasps for some of my own bracelets that I made over a year ago and they have not tarnished one bit, nor have I lost any stones. I bought these to go with a craft project for my daughter's Daisy's Scouts. This was the best price I could find for the item, and went ahead and purchased. They are beautiful, and exactly as described. The magnet seems to be very stong, I will only be using for bracelets, with an average size of 6mm beads. I thought for little hands, they would be easy to take on and off by themselves. They glitter, which girls love and they also love magnets. They arrived by certified mail, for which I needed to sign, directly from China. I did not realize that I would need to sign for the package, but that is a minor detail for me. The only complaint I would have is that the clasps did not come with any documentation stating what they are made from. The quality does seem excellent.

Got these to hang frames around my moms place. Her place was built in the 1940s, so the walls are all plaster. These tack right into the plaster without any cracking or crumbling. Everything went up well and most of the small frames only required one hanger.

So if you want to hang frames around the house, then these are the thing to get.

Good product. However, I just went to the home depot and bought a package of gold OOK hangers for 8 bucks and change and I got SIXTY (60) sets of nail and hanger in one package. Their website did not have the item but I had to go and return something so I went to the aisle where the picture hangers were and they were there in a hard plastic container.

I've used these silver ones too in the past and they are hardy. The hanger seems harder than the gold ones but not a big deal. I would not take this picture hanger up to the 20 lb. challenge. the nail is short and will be safe on most drywall but not if the painting is too heavy. If you have a really heavy painting of 20 lbs. or a very long landscape style painting, you can divide the distance of the painting by 3 and put two hooks up at the thirds position on the wall and double hang the work. This will not only distribute the weight easier but will also keep the painting from rocking side to side.

TIP: If you are going to hang a painting, drill the wires hanger (D rings and wiring) into the back of the painting stretcher bars not into the frame. That way, if you ever want to change the frame from the picture, you don't have to drill into your frame and you can change it out easily because the wires are attached to the stretcher bars and not the frame which may change if you decide to hang the painting in another room or want a different style.

At our place of business we use paint brushes like crazy. Always trying to wash them out to make them last as long as possible. Sometimes you miss a few and there goes $4.00 to $5.00. With these they work pretty darn good and the price is so incredible it's no big deal if you have to throw one or two away before their time. please everybody buy them so they stay available.

I was hoping to use this stencil to paint on my kitchen walls. I tried applying paint to the stencil with a paint brush, foam brush and small paint roller....none came out well. I even applied a temporary adhesive to the back of the stencil to completely adhere it to the wall, so as not to allow paint to seep under the stencil...no luck. I do not at all recommend this product for painting on walls. Your best option would be to use with projects where you trace the stencil, then fill in the coloring.

These brushes are definitely as good as they look in the picture and I really like teh assortment of different types. The bristles look like they will really hold a line well and the length of the brushes is good. Am holding back the final star until I actually can start painting with them, but right now itching to use them.

I received the artist brush set and was very impressed. They are a gift for my father-in-law who does a lot of watercolor and some acrylic work. We have his pieces in several prominent places in or home, very nice!

He loved these brushes! It was a great gift idea. Some of the things he mentioned about this set:

Very clean finish on the wood handles makes gripping and rotating easy and smooth

Zero loose bristles, including the large 5/8 brush and the very fine #1 point

Ferrules are tight enough to prevent paint creep, but not so tight that that the brushes fan when wet

The rounded "Filbert" #8 is his favorite so far

I thought that tempera cakes came in standard size, but these are tiny! I bought other sets of Richeson tempera cakes sets from Blick, and they were much larger (the only size of tempera cakes I had ever seen). I should have actually read the dimensions of each cake. Maybe these are good for home use or for one child. NOT the best for classrooms, unless you want to refill them more often. These are being returned.
