It's a nice colour, but nothing "different." It doesn't look like in this picture. The colour is pretty off, but I would still wear, I still like the colour. It looks nice on my skin colour, which is definitely a plus. I still prefer "Tickle my france-y" any day! =D

I own a large variety of brushes ranging from Kolinsky sables for oils and watercolors, the Bob Ross Collection, the Terry Harrison Collection, and many others. I have been searching for an oil/acrylic brush set with a medium stiffness for control, but soft enough for beautiful detail without lines and scratchiness. I first tried the Royal Majestic line in watercolor brushes when they were handmade to order. I still use those brushes on a regular basis. They have never lost their shape. They do not shed nor fray, and have excellently made ferrules and handles. These have turned out to be just as great as the watercolor brushes. I am delightfully pleased. The price is excellent as well! Where else can you find a long handled brush, sizes 4 24 for under $35. This is a pack of seven a great range of sizes. They fit everything that I needed. I was not disappointed at all. I was totally impressed! By the way, to keep them looking nice when using acrylics and oils, clean then with Murphy's wood oil soap and water then dry them with TLC.

These aren't my favorite brushes. They aren't stiff enough, the bristles spread easily and the handles are very long. That said, they do not shed hairs! For this price that is a fantastic quality and makes these brushes worth buying.

I bought this to practice face painting before helping with a church face painting booth at the fair. To be honest, I did goof and got the "girly" one by mistake, but realized right after I'd ordered that I had and just went with it. The problem is that it calls this a "rainbow" pallet. I didn't realize rainbows had three shades of pinkwell, one is more orangey-salmon, but still pinkish, and no blues. This kit would've been a lot better with one less pink, one of the two whites (there's one that's more white and one that's silvery-white) and adding a blue and a black, because even delicate girly things need black lines to define them and make them look more realistic.

I also had a skin reaction to the purple, but then again, I react to a lot of things. Just test before you go crazy painting on someone.

These paints worked very well for painting kids' faces ages 2.5-7. We bought two packages, for about 10 kids, did most with full faces and we have enough to do another party.

Two things to mention:

-I bought extra brushes to supplement those in the kit. Plus some little makeup sponges.

-I ordered a 'girls' kit and a 'boys' kit and they were exactly the same color pallete.

I was surprised at how much coverage there is in each jar. Each jar has a small shaker top to allow sprinkling which seems to work pretty well at dispersing the flock. The first couple uses of each jar I had a little trouble with clumping and uneven distribution which seemed to go away after I used a little bit of the jar and had some more room to shake it. The color representation is accurate to the online photos depending a little on your monitor color settings.

Very glad to have purchased this item. In the past, we've always had to use a pointed stick-style implement to "write" anything in stepping stones. These stamps created a much more professional finished look, and were extremely easy to use and clean. Note than only upper-case letters (and numbers) are included. Make sure to follow the directions for mixing your substrate it needs to be fairly solid/dry to hold a clear, crisp shape of the letter imprint without filling back in on itself. Done well, however, you'll have a look that you'll appreciate for many, many years.

I use the stamps for lettering on pavers and hand made tiles. The Victorian style is elegant and makes great looking artwork. The letters are made of sturdy plastic that creates neat and deep impressions into the clay or cement mix. Each letter stamp is set on a 1 square inch flat base that allows to space letters evenly, to keep them straight, and to prevent uneven depth of impression. The only negative is that there are two letters (or numbers) on each stamp (one on each side); therefore, the letter being stamped cannot be seen (or identified), because a completely different letter appears on the reverse, which creates many risks of irreparable errors. As an example, I can mention that recently, I had to create for a customer a plaque containing four lines of writing, with a total of 48 letters. Even with two sets of stamps, it was extremely difficult for me to complete the stamping without making mistakes. I wish the manufacturer would create sets that have the complete alphabet and numbers on individual stamps. This would not be costly as the letters are made of plastic. And it would make the life of artists much easier! If it was not for that frustrating feature, I would have given the product five stars.

I bought this for my niece, she loves Monster High. Overall I'm not really impressed about the product. She opened it Christmas Eve and instantly starting drawing. The markers that are included in the set are horrible and cheap. The black and brown pens were completely dried out. The pictures that are displayed on the cover show drawings used from colored pencils. If you are giving this as a gift I would suggest including a pack of colored pencils to go with it. Besides the markers being useless the rest of the set is somewhat creative. The tote is made of plastic and cardboard. There is an assortment of stencils that have many different types of clothing and accessories to draw. The paper in the notebook already has a silhouette outline of each Monster High character, all you need to do is add the clothing outlines and color. This is not the best gift I have ever purchased, and I defiantly paid more than it's worth.

Very fun a creative art kit...The only flaw would be the markers that are included. I would also purchase more durable higher quality markers. Besides that it is a load of fun to design outfits. Very creative time consuming product will keep your tween busy for quite a while :)

Got this for my daughter's birthday and must say I'm quite disappointed. First, the description says tote. What it really is is a cardboard accordion file with handles. Second, the markers were dried out. I'm giving the product a 3 because the design pad that comes with it is really nice and she loves it. That's the only good thing about this and honestly, I could have purchased the pad separately for a quarter of the cost. I did it this way so she could have the tote. Now I'm out the money for this plus I need to go find her a Monster High tote because we promised her one for her birthday.

Very disappointed in this product because it is all about creating your own art and the pens do not work. They were dried up upon arrival. I would return it if I could tear it away from my daughter who just got it for her birthday, and has been drawing in it nonstop. Basically have to use other pens, and we paid $18 for what amounts to spiral bound photocopies and a file folder that may not last.

The Speedball Speedy Carve Stamp Making Kit is a great starter kit for carved stamps. It is easy to use with two interchangeable blades for carving. The instructions are helpful and include some patterns and techniques. Great price and kit if you are just getting started with carved stamps.

I liked the kit for a started piece. The rubber was large enough to make (re: attempt to make) a few stamps. One worked out alright of the four I attempted. Issue I had were the nibs, there was a small and a medium, I would have rather had a fine tip and the medium or gouge tool for the dead space around my designs. Over all though it was okay.

Transferring an embroidery design onto heavy linen takes ingenuity. This type of linen doesn't work well on a light box or most tracing papers. Thus, I needed a transfer pen which could be ironed onto the linen. I tried the Sulky transfer pens, but a test piece showed me that the lines became much thicker when ironed onto linen. So, back I went to Amazon to find a different pen for the job. Here, I came across these inexpensive red pencils by Aunt Martha. When they arrived, I followed the simple instructions (flip the design over and draw BACKWARDS! over the design, then iron it on. My test showed a perfect transfer onto the linen, although the lines were paler than with the Sulky pens. But...the lines remained thin enough to cover with embroidery, without having any of the lines show. Also, these lines are erasable with a regular pencil eraser from the paper or the linen in case you make a mistake! What wonderful tools these pencils are for any embroiderer! They worked perfectly for me.

These work so well! I bought some washable paint and filled these not quite to the fill line (which is very low on the container) and they have not spilled even with a 2 yr old. They also have kept the paint wet for an entire month so far and I have been slacking in taking out the brushes and keeping the lids closed. I really love them and I have 4 kids ages 5, 5, 4 and 2. If they work for me they will work for you.

I love these paint cups. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way not to leave them with paint in them for long periods of time to store. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if they were for constant use, but ours dried out after we stored them away for a couple of months while we were gearing up to move. When they were in regular use (no less than once a week) we didn't have a problem. They're plenty big, so you can really fill them up with paint, which means not having to constantly refill them.

The paint cups were easy enough for my son to open and close himself (which might be a warning to parents here as he was able to do this at two). The opening for the brush was wide enough that my son could easily manage getting the brushes in and out without making a royal mess. He dropped them a couple of times and we had no problems with spills. I'm really impressed with these little paint cups and how well designed and convenient these are for young children. Our son was never allowed to paint unattended, but he loved the feeling of independence he got from being able to do it all by himself. I've tried a lot of art supplies with my older two, but these paint cups are my favorite. We'll be replacing them again after our next move in 6 months when we don't have to worry about paint drying into them again.

These match up with the Crayola Washable Kids Paint set of 10 Bottles (2 fl oz/59mL), though there is no black, so we just put the pink in the container for the black, which my son was okay with.

Hard to spill the paint, but would never fill it anywhere near full since the paint still manages to dry out, even with lids closed tight. Debatable whether cleaning these after each use is better than just cleaning the occasional spill from my preschoolers, but at least it keeps the colors separate.

I really like these postcard kids, and have used two of them. The basic premise is to take the included paper-thin sheets, cut out the postcard designs, and adhere them to the included specially-shaped chipboard. (You will need such additional craft supplies as scissors, a clear stamp block, glue, ink pads, and something to hang the postcards with in order to do this craft.) The reverse side can be embellished with the included stamps to resemble the "writing" side of a vintage postcard. Of course, really crafty people can do even more than just these basics.

The finished postcards can be hung up as decorations, such as on a wall or Christmas tree.

This specific set includes flower-oriented postcards. Designs include a bird flying to the left of a bouquet, a little girl holding a flower basket, three girls with a dog, and a few rose bouquets.

While there's little negative that I can say about this craft kit, the one problem I do have with them is that the chipboard is subject to warp after the postcard design is adhered to it or the chipboard is otherwise dampened (such as with antiquing liquid). When you make them, be sure to press them under heavy books and be patient with the drying process at each step a dampening product is added.
